From start to finish my 'new kitchen' experience could not have been any better. Mark Hewitt was my planner, and nothing was too much trouble, no question I asked was made to seem too trivial, and he listened and helped me make all the right choices. He was mindful of my budget, and even after I changed my mind on the style of kitchen after it had been planned I was not made to feel it was an inconvenience in any way.
My installer with Wickes, Michael Pritchard was a pleasure to have in my home ... and what a fantastic job he has done. A really tidy worker, and all fitted to the highest standard. All the trades he brought in (Plasterer, Electrician, Gas) treated my home with respect and were polite and courteous.
I am absolutely delighted with my kitchen and the service provided by Wickes Aintree. Thank you Mark and the team. Happy customer.

We chose Wickes to instal our new kitchen because from the first contact they were so professional. The design consultant went over everything over a coffee, she then came into our kitchen to measure everything, even returning to confirm a measurement.

The new kitchen arrived on the date specified, and the fitting was completed professionally and on time

However it all went downhill from there - first of all we had to find for ourselves the instructions for all the integrated appliances to then understand how they worked

Now, 4 weeks+ on from completion, we are still waiting for the removal of the old kitchen and assorted packaging on the new kitchen. We have had 4 conversations (there will be 5 tomorrow as today is Sunday) to customer services, each time with a different person, but the same outcome - "we apologise, I will sort this for you, it'll take 3 - 5 day.

In the meantime we are left with serious access problems. This has really taken the shine out of a 'shiny new' kitchen

My experience was because of a young man named Jack at the aintree liverpool store,he went above and beyond to find the item I wanted which was not on the shelf but showing on the stock list ,he found the brackets i wanted after searching, well done Jack most people would have just said we can't find them but not Jack, thank you Jack . Came away happy got the job done thanks to him.

I am genuinely shocked by the level of customer service I received at Wickes Aintree today.

I collected a very large and heavy item with my elderly mother. The male member of staff who brought my order out didn't greet me, didn't ask if the order was mine, and simply pushed the heavy item towards us before walking away. At no point did he offer to help us load it into the car.

We were clearly two smaller women, one of whom is elderly, struggling with a large, awkward item. To make matters worse, there were multiple members of staff outside, including a male member of staff, who watched us struggling but didn't offer any assistance.

I went back inside and explained how disappointed I was. Although the lady on the till apologised, I didn't feel she was particularly concerned and it felt as though she just wanted to move on from the complaint rather than address it.

Thankfully, my mother and I eventually managed to get the item into the car ourselves, but it shouldn't have been left to us. I've shopped at B&Q, Toolstation, Home Bargains and many other retailers, and staff have always been far more willing to help with large purchases.

This experience left me extremely disappointed. Based on the customer service I received today, I would not shop at Wickes again especially aintree store.

Im actually disgusted.

Efficient and professional, no issues, all planning done in good time and kitchen delivery arranged promptly, competitive price, would recommend them.

Met with a kitchen designer, Mark Hewitt at the Aintree store. He swiftly booked us in for a house visit for measuring and then for the design visit back in store. Mark has been a delight to work with and has planned us what will be our dream kitchen!

I came to the Wickes store in Aintree, to discuss bathroom designs for both our main bathroom and ensuite. I was assigned Mark (Hewitt) as my bathroom designer.

Mark was friendly and very knowledgeable in his area of expertise and designed two outstanding bathrooms to suit our needs. We kept tinkering with the layout until we were both satisfied with the end product. His attention to detail was superb.

Mark also arranged to get the order delivered in record breaking time, as we had organised our own fitter, who was keen to start the work as soon as possible. Mark was always available for queries and got the job done.

10 out of 10 for Mark and Wickes, I would highly recommend.

Yousef (and indeed the young lady who accompanied him) was extremely helpful and polite, really listened to me and what I envisioned, I was offered solutions that didn’t feel in any way generic but specific to me. It helps that he’s a local lad too so knows the layout of my style of house, inside out.

Female member of staff (sorry I can't member her name) Fri 3 July, approx 5.30pm Aintree store really helpful, professional, polite and amazing personal touch when I struggled to find an ordered item online. All other staff were great, like proactive and relaxed but I had most interaction with lady behind the till. I'm not a regular Wickes customer but deffo recommended.

The lady was due to come to my house at 10.30am but she had car trouble and didn't actually make it to mine until about 3pm. She came into my house and said 'is it a new kitchen you are looking for'. In actual fact, the appointment was to look into a new bathroom suite! To be honest with you, I didn't really fee a great vibe from her. She has made an appointment for me to come to Wickes on Friday at 1pm (I think). I would like to cancel this appointment please.

I bought a shower from wickes and on the same day of purchase, it was installed the same day..

i had to go through the phone line, to use the guarentee side i was informed and not take it back the shop. But the south african call center is absoultly useless. They are rude, unprofessional and do not have a clue.

so in the end i called the shop i bought it from (aintree) and Andrea and Karen were amazing. so helpful, they went above and beyond to assist.

The store not only provided us with much needed wood bark for our garden project at Childwall Abbey School, they matched our order and gave us some top end weed suppressing membrane too!

Thanks to the team at Wickes - Aintree, our horticultural area within school is looking absolutely stunning.

From Kevin, the regional manager, to the entire team in store and the delivery man, everyone has made this area of our school a beautiful place to learn and grow.

This is the second time I had been in two weeks and the assistance I was given by Alison was exemplary !!

Terrible company to get in for a kitchen.
Horrendous delivery missing things, sending wrong items. Terrible installation to the point nearly 12 months later in trying my best to get them to rectify all the problems. Customer service is next to none existent. Over 10 month of back and forth emailing and still no one to come out and rectify the issues to the point I'm contacting citizens advice and trading standards. Wendy koomson, loni chick, terrible at customer service.

A huge thank you to Mark, who designed my brand new bathroom. Working with him was an absolute pleasure. From the very beginning, he completely understood my vision. We clearly shared a very similar taste, which made the whole process feel effortless, and he was able to take all of my ideas and turn them into a design that exceeded my expectations. The way he maximised the space is incredible. Every detail feels considered, practical, and beautifully put together.

Mark is not only extremely talented but also genuinely lovely to work with. He made the whole experience smooth, stress-free, and actually enjoyable. His passion and dedication to his work really stand out, and his work ethic is something to be admired. What I appreciated most was how he balanced creativity with practicality and he guided me towards the best possible outcome while always keeping my budget in mind. It was clear he was focused on achieving the best value for money, without ever compromising on quality or style.

JJS Plumbing Services then brought the design to life, and I truly couldn’t recommend them highly enough. They were both hardworking, friendly, and completely professional throughout. Their communication was excellent, they were always on time, and they took great pride in everything they did. Despite the scale of the project, they kept everything spotless and organised, which made such a difference. The quality of their workmanship and attention to detail is outstanding, and the finished result speaks for itself.

A big thank you as well to the electrician and plasterer involved, both did an incredible job and were just as professional, skilled, and meticulous. It’s clear this whole team works to an exceptionally high standard.

I’m absolutely delighted with my new bathroom. Thank you all so much!

Wickes Aintree kindly donated a gazebo to the Hospice of the Good Shepherd after a member of their staff, Alison nominated the hospice to receive their support. The process was very easy and the gazebo was delivered by Alison to the hospice very quickly! Thank you to Wickes Aintree, Manager Mark and of course, Alison for their generous support :)

After unsuccessfully dealing with the kitchen department at B&Q, Speke (where all purchased items were returned), we went to Wickes in Aintree. We had a meeting with Mark who went through in detail what we required. When the items were delivered, a kitchen drawer front had a crack in it. On Mark's guidance, I contacted customer service who were excellent. I had a new drawer front within 2 days. We had also bought new doors for an existing corner cupboard. The new doors and post supplied were too small as the specification had changed so I again contacted Mark. Mark and his colleague Yousef were excellent. They went above and beyond what I expected of a customer service team. Mark even delivered a new part (in his own time) to my house to solve the issue. I can't rate Mark, Yousef and the customer service team at Wickes Aintree high enough.
