Wickes - Bletchley Reviews 

Oli helped us to design a brand new kitchen from our floor plan, he guided us through the whole process and nothing was too much trouble. We were very grateful for all his advice and we were impressed by his genuine knowledge of design and home improvement. We were able to look at a lot of the products in-store but Oli also gave us a lot of ideas based on his own experiences.

I had a very disappointing experience with Wickes. I selected a specific delivery date for my fencing so I could have it installed the following day, but the order was not delivered as promised. Instead, it was delivered to the wrong store, and I was simply told it was due to a new driver.

There was no real effort to resolve the issue or get my order to me, despite the inconvenience it caused. As a result, I had no choice but to cancel the order. I had already arranged and paid for someone to come and fit the fence the following day, so the failed delivery has delayed my entire project and left me out of pocket.

Very poor service, unreliable delivery, and disappointing customer support. I wouldn’t recommend Wickes based on this experience.

Oli at Bletchley Wickes designed a perfect kitchen for me with a huge amount of storage and made maximum use of all the space that was available
My fitter was Shaun and his quality of work was outstanding
The customer service also kept in touch throughout to make sure everything was going to plan

Oliver Hawkins, Design Consultant at Wickes, Bletchley worked with us to design a kitchen from the bespoke range that would work well in the limited space we have. Oli worked around issues that cropped up and the final result is that we have a kitchen that we are very happy with.
ARO Installations, Milton Keynes, installed the new units and integrated appliances, carried out the plumbing and also arranged for plastering and electrics to be done. ARO Installations had to deal with some very old pipework, low ceiling and lack of space. Eight months on, we are very pleased with the kitchen. I'm sure it was a real pain to work on, but they have done a great job.
Each delivery was received before the installation date and nothing was missing or damaged.
Wickes customer service has been very helpful.

I needed to open a trade account and approached a young lady named chloe who was very helpful indeed she walked me through the process of setting up the account app on my phone and explained every single detail to me ,she made the whole process stress free ,and to be honest I could not thank her enough

My review was due to an online order which showed both a delivery, which was correct and a Collection, which was incorrect. This meant I had to contact Customer Services unfortunately. I spoke to a very pleasant young lady, Scottish I believe, Who understood my issue and I believe did her best to resolve it. However cancelling my order and issuing a refund went somewhat awry. I received only part of my refund and only part of my order was cancelled. This meant I had to call again and spend another 25 minutes trying to sort this out which I will only see tomorrow if that has been successful. This is because an Order I placed for deliver was marked as Click and collect as well as for delivery. I got an email informing me that my order was "Ready for Collection" which concerned me as MyOrder confirmation clearly reported "Ordered for delivery by Wickes". The whole situation was a chaotic farce. I reordered for delivery but I'm seriously thinking of looking elsewhere in future after many years of Dealing with Wickes.I am still waiting for the rest of my refund!

I walked in needing help finding a very specific paint and armed with approximately the same level of expertise as a damp sponge.

Thankfully, the manager — I believe his name was Robert — stepped in before I could make an expensive and aesthetically questionable decision. He listened to what I needed, asked the right questions, and somehow translated my vague description of "you know... sort of that colour, but not too much that colour" into the exact product I was after.

Robert was knowledgeable, patient, and refreshingly free of the usual sales nonsense. He clearly knows his paints inside out, which is reassuring when you're standing in front of what feels like 4,000 nearly identical tins wondering where your life took this turn.

What I expected to be a quick trip for paint became an unexpectedly enjoyable experience. I left with the right product, useful advice, and considerably less confusion than I arrived with.

If all managers were like Robert, DIY projects might actually get finished on time. An absolute credit to the business.

Needed specific paint colour and went to bletchley branch. As always they are all v well mannered, friendly and helpful. Brandon did a great job of selecting the right colour and doing the mixing. He also helped on a couple of other purchases. All in all a super experience. Keep up good work guys 😊

Chloe came around the store with me to help choose suitable products having already recommended the first one from her personal experience. She gave me plenty of time nothing was too much trouble and the product/s worked perfectly.

Went today really big order a young lady called maddie severed me really good service and she new her job pleasant experience thanks maddie 😁

I pre ordered late yesterday and was able to collect by 7:30 this morning, excellent service and all products in great condition on a trolley ready to go. I was cheerfully greeted and served by Chloe which helped to make this a really nice experience.

Your store was very clean and all but one staff member was very helpful etc. however the last person I made contact with seemed that she was not happy working on the till not a smile or hello.

My wife and i have been in this store 3 x in the past week at different times.
we can honestly say the customer service and help is amazing.
For 2 days i had help from Tammy and lewis was with Tammy today sorted refunds for swaps no dramas .
The staff are what make a store work so well even when unable to get items can sort deliverys or were best to go and shop.
Defintley gives you the confidence as a return buyer to want to come in this store .

We saw Oliver Hawkins at Bletchley for a kitchen design and he was brilliant! very helpful with great ideas and we got exactly what we wanted and more! Would highly recommend

Tony at the Bletchley store was our design consultant for our new bathroom and was excellent throughout. He was very patient with all of our questions and requests and supported us all the way through to completion of a new bathroom that we're very happy with.

Kitchen and bathroom design and installation. Absolutely excellent. Oliver Hawkins has supported us with both. Really fantastic experience. Highly recommended.

We usually order kitchens from Howdens, but wanted to try Wickes so we had more style / price etc options for different clients etc. So glad we did! Initially we were nervous as we were used to Howdens and how they operated but wow this was so easy - Oliver was fab with design and organising delivery which we needed fast. He also went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed without overselling. Delivery was exactly as expected (on time, helpful drivers putting everything in side neatly), all items were in stock and the quality was fab! Installation instructions were thorough and easy to understand. Price competitive too. Would definitely recommend a Wickes kitchen.

I get fed up with the staff asking me if I want a receipt once I have paid. Simply If you don't get a receipt and try to return an item they treat you like a criminal which happened in my case, It does appear that Wickes are encouraging their staff not to hand out receipts, I am sure they know what happens if you try and return something without the receipt so Don't ask the question, just give the customer the receipt.
