Excellent/Compassionate Customer Service
I went to Wickes - Corby on 21/10/2026, I wanted to purchase the battery for my car key fob. I was not sure how to replace the battery coupled with the fear of purchasing the wrong battery and perhaps damaging the car key fob. Dawn from Wickes Corby talk me through how to open the key fob and to be honest I have never done this before and she could tell that I was not confident regardless of having the conversation. Dawn knew what she was talking about and had experience of replacing batteries from her own personal experience. Dawn was busy but she created time to help me and she went over and above to inset the new battery in my key. Dawn understood that my safety is important and if the battery is not replaced potentially I could be stuck in the road in this bad weather. I just want to thank Dawn one more time for the excellent, compassionate customer service and professionalism. We need more people like Dawn in this world!

Above and beyond
I arrived at the store, 20 minutes from home, to discover my phone had died on the way and I had no way of paying! Tina was absolutely fantastic, she plugged my phone into charge whilst I shopped and even helped me load my car after. Thanks so much for saving the day!

I am absolutly disgusted on how my husband was treated today in your store@12-30 Being accused of stealing when he had clearly paid for his items on till 2, Her aggressive manner was not acceptable as my husband and son were paying for coving separately on till 3, and as for the lad that served him before hand never said anything in his defence its clearly an issue . Reciets were shown no apology given we are never using you again, I rather go else were. The lady was mature with white hair and if thats what you call good customer service your way off track .

He was a lovely friendly and funny man who made us both laugh. Great at his job and a valuable asset to the company.
I would recommend a pay rise.
