Buying online and only £4 delivery charge
Started to use Wickes several times recently. All online except one visit to the store in Maldon Essex. The £4 delivery charge is exceptional value. Have bought skirting boards, variety of wood, screws, buckets, rollers, sealants and so far no issues. Even bought a special order of 500mm x 3000 x 3mm clear acrylic sheet which is a 6 day delivery and turned up on the 6th day

Needed a 12volt car tyre inflator…
Needed a 12volt car tyre inflator quickly. So I bought Wickes 'Sakuts SS3603 12v compressor. The service in shop was polite and business-like (no complaints on this count), but the product is terrible! A total waste of £14! It was incredibly noisy, and it took an inordinately long time to add a few psi to my grandsons tyre. My advice- DO NOT buy this product, however desperate! Sorry Wickes, this product has let me, and you down.

She literally helped us throigh every single question and query. Wickes Maldon - web site says 18 bags of builders sand in stock. When you get there they have one bag which is split and half the contents missing. Asked if they had more and told even if they did they couldn't put them out as their forklift was out of order. Pick up a couple of other items and when checking out staff more interested in talking to each other the dealing with the customer in front of them
