We looked around at a few kitchen providers and settled on Wickes because we liked their products best.
Gary, our design consultant, made us feel comfortable from the start. From measuring up in our house, to the design session in store, he was friendly knowledgeable and just easy to get along with.
Nothing was too much trouble and Gary was more than happy to try out all of our ideas for layouts etc and spend time moving all of the units around on screen to demonstrate how each layout would look in our space. We really got the feeling that Gary was helping to design the kitchen for us, and not just "completing another job". He really wants you to be happy with the end result.

Once the design was complete, we had a fitter come to the house to view the design in the space that we had. From the moment he entered the house, this fitter gave the impression that he did not want to be there. He was finding problems that did not exist and caused us to question our entire design.
Flustered, we went back into store and spoke with the management (as Gary was out on a visit). They reassured us that our chosen design was perfectly valid and that they weren't sure what the fitter was on about.
As a result, they provided us with a new fitter - Colin.

Colin was incredible and a complete contrast to the previous fitter. He had a lovely friendly air about him, laughing and cracking jokes.
The whole fitting process was flawless and the end result is incredible.
I honestly cannot imagine having anyone else in our home for this period of time, and getting along better.

If you have the option of choice, I highly, highly recommend talking to Gary as your Design Consultant and requesting Colin as your fitter. You will not regret it!

We used Wickes in Nuneaton to disign and purchase a new kitchen.
Cost was extremely competitive, but more importantly, service was exceptional.
Ruth Burman-DeSouza was the rep. we dealt with.
Her knowledge, professionalism and customer service were exemplary and we would highly recommend her.

Store staff are excellent and very helpful, products are extremely good however the delivery company they use DX Freight are appalling. Delivery of two new replacement doors arranged for 26 May, they delivered a day early!!!

Collection arranged also for two incorrect size doors also arranged for the same day, they did not turn up. Collection arranged for today and yet again they have failed to turn up. I’ve had to waste my time and contact them again for a collection today! This is absolutely appalling service and has completely put me off using Wickes again.

Gary has gone that extra mile to get us a reliable tradesperson who doesn’t let us down. Nothing was to much trouble for him & he was apologetic that the tradesman recommended did not turn up when it was arranged. Would recommend Gary for his profession approach & friendly service, Thankyou for your help.

Ruth made the whole design process both easy and efficient-she took time to understand our requirements and made some fantastic suggestions to give us what we asked for and more. We would definitely recommend, and can’t wait for our new bathroom.

Gary came out to my house and I explained to him what I wanted, he listened to what I had to say, he went away and did a great design of which I only changed a couple of things, speaking to other people I have not heard a bad thing about wicks, now awaiting fitting.

We have had two installs by wickes of which there wasn't any problem with the fitting. 9 emails all toll with no response from customer services
Customer service is terrible, wickes don't mind taking your money but don't like to help.

My wife and I went to wickes for a quote expecting high pressure to buy, nothing could be further fron the truth, we sat down had a chat and designed OUR kitchen not wickes, nothing but help and can do, price was great. Gary was more than a pleasure to deal with and fantastic advice, we got what we wanted at a price we loved, if you dont go to see Gary your making a big mistake, thanks for everything

Ruth from the Nuneaton branch was very helpful in our design for our bathroom. She managed to get it all done from measurements of the bathroom to design all in 24 hours. Cant recommend enough

I am really pleased with our new kitchen from Wickes.
From day 1 Ruth was very helpful. The design she created was brilliant. She was more than happy to adjust this on a number of occasions to meet my budget.
A few snags along the way with missing items but Ruth got these reordered and delivered on time for the kitchen fitters.
Great communication throughout and a pleasure to deal with. Highly recommended:)

Gary was amazing. His honest, professional and friendly approach resulted in us getting the kitchen of our dreams booked there and then. He designed our perfect kitchen and gave the best advice and price he could possibly manage. I would highly recommend Gary when booking your consultation. I feel confident that issues going forward he is there to support. Fingers crossed there aren’t any!

From the 1st visit Marika was absolutely brilliant. She did a great design and was very accommodating when we wanted to make a couple of tweaks. Delivery team were very good and when we had a couple of bits left over the other staff in the kitchen department were very helpful and sorted a refund with no issues

Great experience so far - just waiting for it to be fitted! Ruth Burman-De Souza was great at taking the time to go through everything in detail with us, especially as it is a big project with lots going on!

Gary my kitchen designer and the man who fitted my kitchen Pete are fantastic , actual Wickes is a bloody nightmare to navigate but the actual people make it alot easier , Gary has always taken everything I say and had an idea, a plan or will just get the ball rolling and Pete is a genuine pleasure to have in the house a real big soft guy who's hard working , on time and pleasant to actually have in the house when he is working you can feel at ease with him around and his support staff .

The way Wickes as a company have been honestly I do not know if it's worth the hassle, especially if you find planning and phone calls stressful.

Just had a kitchen re fit so quick and careful installation Pete and his crew were amazing kept me informed each day as to progress

From first visit to look at kitchens through to completion a really good experience. Gary in the showroom led us through the process expertly, all deliveries on time and MGH Kitchens, the installation team, listened and acted upon everything we asked for. We had never used Wickes before but on the basis of our experience we couldn't recommend them highly enough.
