Wickes - Wallsend Reviews 

Very poor service. I needed three bi fold door, only 2 on the rack but the third was in the warehouse, they could not give me a time span to get the third door out of the warehouse.and to the till. As a contractor I don't have time to stand around and wait for an unspecified time. You lose the sale to B&Q next door, there is another £300 you have lost. If they had said can you come back in 15 minutes that would have been fine, but we don't know how long doesn't work.

Highly recommend the design team the lovely wonderful Sue was amazing went far n beyond for me thanx for everything sue

We had great customer service especially from Dawn. She was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. It was a stress free purchase.

Visited the store on Friday, great service. really helpful colleague’s. very friendly at the till also.

I visited this store on the 03.10.26 as we need some 4 soundproof plasterboards and some (12) 12.5mm X 1800 X 900
1 bag of Bonding Coat
And 2 bags of Multi Finish Plaster, i didn't want to cut the soundproofing plasterboards down the middle so they fitted in our car, So a lovely lady called Dawn who took my order said we can get them delivered to you on Monday the 05.10.26 which was perfect as we plan to start the work on Tuesday,We found Dawn very helpful and she new her way around the ordering system,She was also very polite,if i could give Dawn 5 ⭐️ I would as she made our day less stressful,well done Dawn for great eperience 👌👍

I was in the shop on Monday and needed help carrying tiles to the car I got help straight away from a young lad, i come in often and always get help if needed from the staff. Great store and staff.

I booked an at home visit. For my bath room.
We need a new long show tray glass screen toilet and basin plus cabinets.
But this not something Wickes do as we not changing the wall tiles.
They will only do the full every in it really.
As they cannot fit round the old tiles?
Then how can the fit around the new ones.
There is no miss understanding no where on your website does it say i must have new tiles and you only fit full bathroom.

I couldn’t fault any of the staff at the Wallsend branch who were all very helpful. A huge thank you to Dawn for sorting out the problem I had.
Unfortunately, when ringing the customer service number I found the staff very difficult to understand.

The man who came out to measure my kitchen was very knowledgeable no messing about measured up gave me all information needed and answered all my questions

Dont ever consider getting a kichen from wickes. Absolute shambles. No after care, no communication, ignoring calls, emails etc when trying to reach out for assistance. 4 months in kitchen is still not done. Avoid avoid avoid.

Customer service was absolutely 5 Star. The name of staff at the cash out was Ann at Wickes in Wallsend. She went above & beyond to help us choose a caddie bin enclosure which has been confirmed that delivery will be on the 2nd July 2026. Will submit a further review on quality etc of the order when received

Absolutely fantastic customer service.

I placed an order on line and just as I was setting off a girl rang to say that as the items had been stored outside and they were dusty. If I needed them in perfect condition she would refund me to save me a trip.

I decided to go look and have to say I was blown away by the service in store. Truthfully I very rarely shop at Wickes but the service was that good I will definitely be back.

I said I would like to leave a review so asked for their names. A massive thank you to Ann, Nicola and Dawn it was a pleasure dealing with you all. So friendly.

Andreas was spot on with the planning and al the difference style's of kitchens etc, he was very knowledgeable about all aspects of our design can't rate him highly enough

I visited the store today at Wickes in Wallsend and was disappointed by the behaviour of a staff member called Christine. She was rude to both a member of the public and to her colleagues, which created an uncomfortable atmosphere. I found her mannerisms to be unprofessional, and customer service appeared to be lacking. A friendly attitude and a smile can make a big difference, so I hope this feedback is taken on board and addressed.

Our kitchen project was expertly dealt with from start to finish. The idea of having our kitchen refitted was a daunting task. However our kitchen designer, Andreas Hooper was extremely knowledgeable and helpful and guided us expertly to our choices. All the trades people did an excellent job. Top Drawer kitchen fitters lived up to their name. Chris and his son Jack got on with the work quietly and efficiently. They were both very pleasant and obliging. Chris coordinated the other trades people very well. The work was completed within the alloted time. Customer Services dealt with the logistics of the refit and were contactable in the event of any problems, of which there were none. The whole experience went smoothly and we are delighted with the outcome.
