Thought it was a scam
I didn't realize I was purchasing something from outside the US and your communications are different. It was an impulsive purchase that I did through ad on Facebook and paid extra $20 for expedited shipping. In the states that typically means 2-3 days. I tried to go to the website and it didn't show the dress....Instead of freezing my checking account, I just moved most of my funds to a different account so that if I'd given my credit card to a scammer it wouldn't be as costly as it could have been. My confidence began to grow about a week and a half later when I started receiving email updates of transit. I received it yesterday (Day 22) and will now move money back into our checking account. The dress has a nice cut but the fabric isn't one that I'll wear out and about. Doesn't matter - I will lounge in it at home - and feel relieved I didn't give my bank account information to a scammer.
