wifiboost and techwidget / labelproducts are clearly a scam

The company are known as wifiboost but send out as techwidget and the website is under label products so it is clearly a scam as using different names makes it impossible for a legal team to know which to take to court so it would be dropped. They advertise a 30 day return policy with full refund but there is no address and the customer service team don't reply. There is no phone number on any of their information. PLEASE AVOID

SCAM & FIRE RISK!

This is a scam to sell a cheap extender which has also been reported to be a FIRE RISK!

You can buy proper extenders anywhere for half the price without the lies, fake claims, fake websites and bogus reviews.

AVOID!!

total rhubarb

I bought this for my mother as her router is not in the same room as her broadband tv. It constantly drops the signal and has to be plugged and unplugged. This just a wifi extender and does nothing to boost her signal.

With three 1-star reviews Trust Pilot…

With three 1-star reviews Trust Pilot average showed TrustPilot averaged the reviews as 2-star? So I thought I'd add another 1-star review. I echo Mr Graham's comments, it's almost like looking in the mirror. I'm hoping my bank is able to refund me for the rubbish. I feel ashamed to have been scammed into buying rubbish.

AVOID - MegaDeals Ltd / wifiboost.tech
DO NOT BUY - Non-Existing Customer service. Dreadful service.
ZERO REFUND - no refund offered.
DOES NOT WORK - half the speed and fails to work as advertised.
UK CONSUMER LAW - scrapped with these charlatans. 14day/30day returns do not happen as they do not provide you with a return address without trying to sort it for you by offering duff solutions to waste your time.

LESSON LEARNT. These are criminals after your hard-earned cash - AVOID.

I rarely / never review - this is a warning to anyone looking at reviews... but I fear most who see this will be victims of the scam already.

Do Yourself a Favour and do not go near these Charlatans

Wi-Fi booster is actually a piece of cheap rubbish that can be bought for less than £5.00 elsewhere. I asked for a refund as the item did not work and in my opinion could never work. I was told I would have to send a video of it not working not workin!!!!! I was ignored when I asked how that was even possible. Asked for a refund again under their own 30 day return guarantee and was brushed off. One small bright spot was that I had the sense to buy using my credit card and claimed my money through that.
My advice??? Do NOT even think about buying from this website.
