I’ve had a terrible experience with willbox. I ordered a 20ft container for my charity which was to be kept on my back garden. I have plenty of space and so perfect. Access could have been an issue so I sent over head views, measurements etc and asked the container be brought in the smallest possible wagon.
Delivery day and the massive wagon could not get around the access area. The driver advised us to have it placed on the front of the property. We asked his advice and was told it was perfectly fine and other people have units on the front. Since it has been delivered we have been told we cannot keep the unit on the front of the property and so the unit has to be returned.
The customer service has been terrible. I’ve spent a huge chunk of my charity money on this unit and I’m having to send it back. With zero empathy from willbox. I just keep being sent the email to contact to arrange removal. It’s been a good day at the office for willbox but not so much for my animal charity.

Be warned, charge for hire until they collect even after you end the hire, bunch of robbing sharks

Missing paperwork during booking process. Must have exchanged 20 emails just to book a container. Unnecessary online ID check that saves your biometric and face scan data for three years.

When the container did arrive it was covered in mold on the inside - offered £15 cleaning fee refund but took 2 hours to scrub and clean.

Look elsewhere if you want smooth and easy experience.

Matthew Pirie was a great help in visiting our property at short notice to confirm whether our preferred container placement location was viable. Rental was more affordable that anticipated. Setting up our account was clunky but staff kept the ball rolling. Delivery was quick and efficient - no damages or injuries in a very tight space. Really impressed with the personal service overall.

Over the years I have needed to find additional 'temporary' storage space on numerous occasions. Every time Willbox have provided me with the solution. The containers they have provided me have always been new and custom fitted for power and lighting. Following a site survey delivery has always been prompt and professional with extremely skilled hyab operators who can put those containers pretty much anywhere. They would always be my first choice when looking for shipping containers of any size.
