It is so great to subscribe to site where you get to read different types of books all under low subscription price. There are hardly any such websites, and Wisdom Books is one such site. I am a regular reader. Also the platform is easy to use. I am so happy and thankful to the site.

Total scammers

Total scammers. I don’t know how they got my details but somehow they have been attempting to take £30+ pounds a month from my account. Luckily Santander declined the transaction even before I realised it was happening and this has been followed up with a phone call from them. Clearly all the positive feedback has been written by their staff.

BEWARE!

BEWARE!! My wife clicked a site on her iphone offering to track a parcel for free. A prompt came up to say that the charge was 0.00 and to click her phone button twice for apple pay. As soon as she had done this a message came up saying that the fee was 0.00 and £17.99 per month starting the following day. We attempted to cancel the transaction as per their instructions on the website and by e-mail. Later that evening the fraud team from our bank rang to say they had blocked a transaction for £17.99. We have reported this to Action for Fraud. It's no surprise to see other similar testimonies here.

This company is a scam!

This company is a scam!! I was getting tickets refunded via train line and the top/main part of the page was just a confirmation button link, with no indication tha it was NOT from train line. Then clicked on it and confirmed my Apple Pay, for it to then take me to the wisdom books website, and then recieved an email stating I had subscribed to a one day free trial and then £35m charge! When trying to call them it said the number is in the Netherlands and would not connect! I had to ring my bank and cancel my card as it was the only way to truly stop this scam subscription!!

Scammers / Deceivers

I was activating my travel Insurance and so an Open button was not unexpected on the webpage.. I’d assumed the credit card invite I was taken to was a security measure by my travel insurance provider but I’d been deceived into a subscription with this outfit. I consider myself fraud-savvy but there was no clue what I was signing up to. I have opened a fraud report with Mastercard as the phone number to cancel does not work. Hopefully Mastercard will block these scammers soon.

AWFUL These people are scammers

AWFUL These people are scammers. The money has been taken from account despite my spending the best part of 2 days trying to stop the money leaving my account. All I got was an email saying I had a ONE DAY TRIAL ( I didn’t want to subscribe - it was a pop up as which I mistook for a section of a Freecycle signup) There is no way to UNSUBSCRIBE - the button doesn’t work. The phone number doesn’t work. I’ve contacted my bank and registered it as a fraud but a second £34.90 has been taken.

SCAMMERS….

SCAMMERS…..
this bunch of thieves have taken £17.99 from my bank via Apple Pay, I have not subscribed, it appeared as a pop up advertisement which I couldn’t delete from my screen and I have no idea how they have managed to get the money. I have emailed them twice and heard nothing back. I have contacted my bank and they have blocked any further payments to this so called company. There are so many other victims they have scammed, surely there is more we can do.
Thieving scum bags 🤬

They charged me twice €17 for something I don’t understand. It’s the first time I’ve seen this website, and I was forced to reissue my card because of it. I tried to call and write to them, but it turned out to be impossible. Scammers.

Absolute scammers

Absolute scammers. They have taken 2 payments from me without permission. I have sent them numerous emails to no avail. They keep on debiting my account without permission. I don’t even have access to their service as they won’t give me a username and password. I have logged a criminal case against them.
