I recently installed multi fuel stove

I recently installed multi fuel stove, after a couple of hours of burning, I went to open the door and just about burned my hand, the handle was that hot. Has anyone experienced this. I have had stoves before and the handles have always been insulated

Approximately 4years ago we had a Contura woodburner installed. We noticed that on the top the paint began to bubble and rust. We contacted ukofficecontura and they told us that the outer casing of the stove possibly rusted because of the moisture given off by house paint or air humidity amongst other things. I pointed out that this do not give me any faith in the quality of their stoves

Country Kiln woodburning stoves never again!

Purchased a country kiln 37 multi fuel fire in sept 2014 and had it installed by their fitter along with a personally designed? chimney . The fire was delivered by their carrier and handled only by them up to the point where their fitter took over, absolutely no problem with fitting, carried out professionally.
Over next few weeks mastic from body/ top joint fell out only to be told it was not the fire build quality but through "enthusiastic"movement of the fire during fitting , fitter came out and re packed joint which failed again.Locking handle has started to open automatically and was advised that I was overfilling /over heating fire which could affect g/tee. the handle will self open hot or cold!
Mediocre product, customer service very poor.
