Late reaction

Late reaction: Yesterday on my first Cardiologist app had a bad news for me. I just realize new expenses with Wyndham contract sign on July 24 2024 I called and explain "Please cancelled just 10 days later" they won't let me go no matter what, they just want the money and don't care anything else I'm not working & not be able to make payments like I used to; this is insane I need to find and attorney is someone knew a good one to file a sue to this company thanks in advance. If someone from Wyndham will be able to help me exit the program that will be amazing.

One star is not low enough for these…

One star is not low enough for these scumbags. They have the typical third party companies at resorts that trick you into a 2 hour timeshare presentation by promising all kinds of free stuff, and try to hold you hostage until you cave in no matter how many times you say no. The only way out is to get verbally aggressive with them after the time is up. We got our tickets but not some of the other promised items. You are all going to burn in hell. Hope you know that :) of all the careers choices in the world, you chose to be con artists in a pyramid scheme

I've been a member since 2004

I've been a member since 2004. I've had a good experience for the most part with reservations, helpful staff, quality of resorts. But this year I've received at least 2-3 "you're 30-60 days late with payment notices. Getting hold of a human to pay the charges is next to impossible. I don't get any invoices or notifications so that I can timely pay a bill that is coming due. I just get DUNNING notices after the fact with a nice fat LATE CHG added. The number they put on the notice doesn't even work, and they lock you out of your account, so you can't pay your bill that way either. It SUCKS! Worldmark is the only company I have this problem with. So it ain't me baby!

SCAM ALERT - do not buy anything!!!!!

Absolutely the worst timeshare company I have looked into. I purchased the discovery to try it out after a lot of pressure from the sale guy. My sister was sick prior to our trip and I had to cancel. They will not refund the 6000 point of my 20000 points.

Trying to even book a place was a nightmare, the selection available is the worst, not a good way to try convince you to get anything. After I got the discovery I purchased a Hilton timeshare on resell for $1,800.00 plus legal fees. These stupid discovery points cost $3,500.00. The Hilton selection is amazing and on their exchange program you can book the Wyndham if you really wanted. I also got a Disney Vacation Club membership, amazing.

Horrible customer service and I’m glad I only got discovery because it turns out even members don’t get their points back if they cancel with in 14 days. It’s better to just book one from a hotel site, Wyndham hotels are also on the hotel booking sites and it will cost way less to book on a hotel sight because there ratings are so low. Best part if you cancel on the hotel booking site you don’t loose anything or maybe just the one night.

Not sure how they position this membership as a savings it’s just a scam. I wasn’t even going to get anything but the sales person was so high pressure. Basically I felt like I was harassed and they make it hard for you to leave.

24 years with Worldmark and it's worse than ever!

Non transparent thieves sum up interactions and experience with this motley crew. Give them a question: they can't (or won't) answer you. Ask them to qualify what you get for the money they take from your bank account. They don't. They only offer vague, odd responses that don't make sense. Try and reach anyone for caring or considerate help. It's impossible. Minus -1 Rating!

I have been an owner of WorldMark since…

I have been an owner of WorldMark since 2000 and it has worked very well for our family. However, it has gone downhill since Wyndham has taken over. Especially the website. It is always down and even when it is up it kicks you out randomly and is so hard to navigate. It has been over a year with the new website and they still haven’t figured it out. So frustrating!! Fix it Wyndham!!!

I wish there was a rating less than 1

I wish there was a rating less than 1. This company does not hire people that know how basic customer service. It is possibly the worst company that does time shares in the world. They will not help you at all and their employees must be paid in goverment vouchers because they basically do not care! They take your money and then they don't care. DON'T DO IT!

I have been a member for over 10 years

I have been a member for over 10 years. They have gone from bed to horrible. Do not invest in this company. They will lie to you over and over. You cannot do anything online because the website never works. It has been three months since I’ve been having trouble, they keep telling me they’re looking into it, I have spoken to many people there and most of the agents are trained to tell you they are working on it. It’s a lie. They are not working on it. They have made no attempt to correct the problem with their technology, a side of the fact that this company is being run by incompetent people somebody needs to look into what is not happening with World Mark a major reconstruction needs to be done to this company. Some other company needs to come in with more competent people and take it over and provide better service to the people that they’ve sold to or that they’re selling to , I’m surprised there has not been a lawsuit against this company, but the way things are going. I believe it will be done shortly very unhappy as an owner. Speaking from experience do not buy from World Mark Wyndham properties.

This company is the WORST and has gone…

This company is the WORST and has gone way downhill in the last several year. We were Worldmark owners for many years and enjoyed our timeshare but since 2020 it has been AWFUL. DO NOT CONSIDER BUYING Worldmark. They never have availability because they sell you credits and make you pay maintenance dues, then they list their properties on Aribnb and other sites to people who aren't paying timeshare dues.

The absolute WORST!!!

This company is the absolute WORST!! Have been an owner for 10+ years, and between the lies they tell you up front (e.g., “just like buying real estate” [that depreciates by over 90% immediately after purchase!]), the amount of hoops you have to jump through to “make the ownership work for you”, terrible customer service (seriously the worst I’ve ever experienced!), and the aggressive sales tactics that continue every time you stay somewhere (via “Owner Update” presentations), and now tacking on “Special Assessment fees” (above and beyond annual dues… garbage. Now days with AirBnb’s & VRBO’s, I would never recommend Worldmark to anyone. If someone is set on purchasing a timeshare, go with Hilton or Marriott.

I was employed at the world mart in…

I was employed at the world mart in Long Beach Washington as a housekeeper for 2 weeks I'm no longer working with the company because I cleaned 25-30 condos over a two week period an received 3$ .My experience with the staff was amazing all the housekeepers are hard working an friendly! At this establishment when you leave a tip in the room it doesn't go to the person cleaning the room it goes to the person that cleaned the room prior so you have to turn your tips in (me, being in the hospitality industry for 20 years it has always gone to the housekeeper cleaning the room) frustrated that at the end of it every day I was getting no tips as well as my trainer Jan! This was extremely frustrating knowing that I cleaned 5-6 ,two and three bedroom messy condos an receiving nothing was frustrating ! and then to have to turn around and turn the tip in that was in the room and still received nothing at the end of the day every now and then we would walk into a room and there would be a $20 bill sitting on the counter Jan being a good person turned it in at the end of the day ! So frustrating!! I let this go on for 2 weeks and at the end of the two weeks I got $3!!! I brought this up to my boss Becky and she blamed it on the shareholders saying that you guys don't leave tips very often!!! I don't believe that for one min !! There is a problem with their tipping system and someone needs to look into it !! Cuz I have more faith in the shareholders than the people that are run it !! I had several people checking out tell me they left a good tip! I know that you shareholders are leaving a lot more in the rooms than the housekeepers are getting and that upsets me! Instead of maybe looking into why we're not receiving any tips she blamed it on the customer and I don't want to work for a company that is going to be like that !!! Stay blessed

If I could give O stars I would

If I could give O stars I would. My friend and I recently were approached by one of their henchmen while staying at the Strat Hotel We were told we would get all these perks and wouldn’t have to stay the 2 hour presentation. We arrived at 9:30 filled out their questionnaire & was told they’d call us shortly. So when the group started filling in we proceeded to follow. But were promptly pulled out of line because our appointment time was 11:00am but we’re hear I’m sure they could have accommodated two more but insisted we wait till eleven. Oh and by the way there was no shuttle free or otherwise so having no where else to go they told us there was a bar across the street. I guess they assumed we’re going to get drunk & said there was no drinking or alcohol aloud. First of all my friend & I don’t drink and we were back ten minutes early. So long story short they sat us in front of a representative who was taking over for someone else but the young lady came up shortly. Which was the only person who was intelligent enough to understand our situation. I don’t recall her name but she was wearing a necklace that said Libra. Anyway by this time we’d been there two hours they said if we didn’t Stay we wouldn’t get the perks promised to us. Well I’m diabete and wasn’t feeling well so we told them we couldn’t stay at this point I didn’t care about the prize I just needed to get back to the hotel. They weren’t having it, so all and I mean all of them paraded by us like we committed some sort of crime. Waiting for someone to approve that we’d still get the prize. They did offer me a candy bar but told my friend she thought I was faking it and why didn’t just go to the car and get my insulin. First of all we had to Uber to get there which we paid for. Well we did get the prizes after much humiliation and when I got back to Denver and checked my bank they charged me $10.00 for some thing that I haven’t a clue what it’s for. These people are ruthless & don’t mind making you feel like fools I’m thankful that’s all they got What a SCAM

WorldMark is a SCAM.. so unhappy!

We've been owners for almost 20 years. WorldMark maintenance dues continue to increase even though they charge an additional assessment now to reduce these... a total LIE!!! They are just taking more of our money for nothing in return!!!

They also have not added hardly any good new properties in over a decade even though they said they would at the last meeting where we bought more points! They brag that we now have access to Wyndham properties and yet it is so difficult to get into these Wyndham properties even as TravelShare Elite members! The TravelShare Elite status means nothing anymore now since Wyndham took over.

They also announced to us 5 or more years ago that presidential suites were coming for Kingston Reef Orlando.. but they are only available to Club Wyndham owners!!!!!

We were also duped into buying more credits when Wyndham took over when we didn't have to and our same elite membership would have actually been grandfathered in!

We do vacation quite a bit but not to any of the trashy WorldMark properties. WorldMark has let a lot of the quality slide with their properties since Wyndham took over.. broken/damaged cabinets, toxic broken hot tob, jetted tubs broken, etc.

RCI properties also seem to have shrunk. Their web app also is always buggy!!

Bottom line is they drain your funds while caring absolutely nothing at all about you and your owner needs!!

This is a scam stay away!

Planned a Party weekend

I wrote in detail. Gone, lost.
So here is the second short version.
1. Made reservations for the Party weekend April 13-16, 2034 in Austin, Tx.
2. Day after I called Worldmark. I was told I had NO reservation. WHAT!
3. They overbooked.
4. Asked about compensation since I had booked flights from Idaho. Could not be facilitated.
5. 3-22-24 called requesting a party weekend in Bend, Or., after an associate called me. Was given a phone number to call. They could NOT help. Gave me another number.
6. I was told party weekends are by 'invitation only'. Also, the owner needs to meet eligible requirements based on status of ownership. Really!
7. I was told by Braxton, "someone will reach out to me." I am wondering when?
8. I just want/need a party weekend.
9. Aweful experience with the company.

Liars!!!! Your dues will always increase, They now added an assessment annual fee that keeps increasing every year, they rent out the units so it's always impossible to book. This Timeshare is the absolute worst! You would be better off staying home and just lighting your money on fire. I hope the people that run this money pit burn in hell for eternity. Absolute con-artists!

I have been a owner for 20 years

I have been a owner for 20 years, in the last 5 i have found it almost impossible to use, and they are doing every thing they can to get your money, the high-pressure sales are out of control, and very uncomfortable, I was even going to add to my membership one time but somehow my $10,000 purchase was almost 20,000. And when I told them “Never mind i wasn’t paying that much” I felt belittled and bullied. My last dispute and why I’m writing is because last July. they added trip insurance coasting very close to the house keeping that you have to click a button to opt out of. I missed it until i already paid and got confirmation twice. the 1st time they let me out of it. last I realized i forgot and was on the phone with them in less than 5 minutes. they told me they took it off as a one time courtesy last time this time I’m stuck with it. It’s a complete scam, any other place I have ever dealt with on trip insurance you have to opt in, not opt out. It’s very deceiving It is absolutely not a customer. Courtesy addition they keep telling me it is. It’s a way to scam money. I have looked up many reviews now and seen “scam “ over and over. the average stats i’m seeing is consistently 1. Dive motels usually get at least 2 1/2 stars.. in the last 5 years with maintenance cost housekeeping, having to find other arrangements because I can’t get in and flat out scams I could have stayed at five star hotels for less!!!!!!
