Watch out for this lot. They advertise pots at a better price than most then try and stitch you with a £50 delivery charge for one bloody pot!! It's only a medium size (48cm x 38cm) cobalt glazed... See more

Extremely abrupt and rude customer service

I recently emailed this company and, as I don't live too far away, was planning to collect my order as they state on their website they are 'allowing collections as long as it has been pre-arranged'. I phoned to enquire whether it would be possible to just compare 2 pots to take away that day and was completely shocked by the extremely abrupt tone of the owner saying 'you know we're officially closed so you'd better know what you want!' At that I told him there was no need to be so rude and explained that I'd already emailed him saying it was between 2, to which he remarked 'well I've got around 600 emails to look at'. With this, I decided to buy from my local garden centre. Lucky man, having the advantage of his business being so busy whilst talking to his customers the way he does! After reading other reviews, I wonder how long his success will continue if he refuses to change his attitude?

Thoroughly nasty overpriced delivery and couldn't care less service

Delivery: first delivery pot broken (charged £40 for this) . Man on phone doesn't apologise properly and appears completely uninterested. Says he is far too busy to be polite to his customers.
Three days later second delivery: driver arrives with van. Pallet will not go through side entrance. Says he will leave immediately. I remonstrate. Referred to back entrance (which they had been told about) . Starts down lane then drives away without waiting for me to appear at back entrance -takes time to get there as I am disabled. So no discussion. . Row ensues in front of my house. I complain about rudeness and terrible service. Delivery driver refuses to do anything to help ; alleges his battered van was in danger and then turns to my watching neighbours and laughs at me in my wheelchair pulling nasty faces.
24 hours later a friendly builder I know simply picks up the pot where driver dumped it and moves it the 35 yards to the garden completely single handedly. As the original driver, who was bigger and stronger, could have done.

Wrong Advice Given!

I bought a small dimpled glazed water jar to turn into a water feature. Before I bought the water jar I emailed the company to ask if the jar was suitable for a water feature they replied saying "it could easily be made into a water feature" and did not suggest that it could not be used as a water feature. On this recommendation I bought the water jar. The jar had a glazed fault that was not visible on recite. The fault only appeared once we started to use it as a water feature. Their return policy is to inform them of a fault within 24 hours of recite of the product and they have no ability or want to stray from this policy! When the jar was full of water the crack appeared and water leaked out causing the glaze integrity to be broken. When I asked for a replacement the companies customer service was very poor and took no ownership of the fault although the fault happened during the glazing process. The lesson to share is that although these pots are very nice to look at due to the individual glazing process of each pot they really are only decorative. They are not suitable for any type of water feature and ignore the advice from the company to the contrary, as they are not.

I bought a couple of massive terracotta…

I bought a couple of massive terracotta plant pots for my front step, plus three matching smaller pots. They were expensive, but compared to every other online over-sized pot supplier, they were extremely well priced, probably 50% cheaper than anywhere else I could find.

Delivery was £40 but the pots were strapped to a pallet and really well padded, so there was no chance of any damage. Dispatch took a couple of weeks but this was during the lockdown so that's totally understandable. Comms was all via email.

The pots are stunning (they're called Tuscan Coconut). They're so big and heavy I don't have any worries about them being stolen, especially now they're full of compost, and hopefully I'll have some lovely roses growing round my front door in a couple of years. All in all, I'm extremely pleased

Despite being very busy my order arrived quickly & in perfect condition. They phoned the day before to let me know it was on the way and the delivery company kept in touch on the day. Very happy with my pots.
