Bought an ebook of the website

Bought an ebook of the website, as I would like to use it on my own platform. Later on only realized that you are only allowed to use it on their platform. Their ebook reader has to go online (they mention they have offline version, but to actually get to the platform you actually have to be online. The actual platform itself is not user friendly,
I have escalated these issues to the company, and requested for refund after I realized all these issues. They simply refuse to refund.
In other words- DO NOT PURCHASE EBOOK FROM THIS WEBSITE!
