Have not had to make claim yet but the process is very simple to set up. The prices are great especially with monthly payments available. I'm impressed so far.

Worth Ave Group from what I've read on TP are just your typical run of the mill insurance company. By that I mean from an accounting and professional perspective appear polished and reliable. Do I believe they don't have their shady moments and practices every now and again? Not at all. But I'm sure they probably get lot of cheaters and scammers trying to get over on them. I've only had this policy for 2 weeks now I think so I honestly am neither for or against them. Still tho other ins. places for phones there's no competition when ranking affordability and value. Anything other that only time will tell.

I understand there is a need to prove your loss but Worth Ave group makes you jump through hoops just to get your claim approved. Then makes the policyholder wait a week or more just to get paid. This a phone claim, not an auto claim. Shouldn’t be that difficult.

I don't like the fact that my smartphone insurance policy ran out and I was not notified or given the option to repurchase. I had to go on your website and find out that it had expired. I did renew for another year but I will be shopping for other insurance in the future. I think that is very bad business and why wouldn't you want to keep my business and notify me that a payment is due to renew?

I lost my phone in the water on 4/23/2026 and filed the claim the next day. I tried to use the website to file a claim, but it did not work. The password reset button in the email the system sent did not work either. I called the number on my policy paperwork and was instructed that they could not take a claim over the phone. I had to download the paperwork from the website, attach my original receipt, include a sworn statement (notarized), and email it to the claims department. I completed all of that by 4/24/2026.

I did not receive any communication back from them until May 4th. On May 5th, they had me resend the paperwork I had already sent. On May 6th, I had to put in a customer service request for help because I did not hear anything regarding my claim (and still could not get into my online account even after at least 6 emails requesting help). Then, Worth Ave started communicating with a person in my company (which I own) instead of me. Worth Ave's emails were going to his junk mail, and he was not even involved in the claim anyway (crazy).

Then, on June 5th, I received an email stating my claim was going to be dismissed because of a lack of paperwork and duration of time—the exact same paperwork I sent in on 4/24 and May 6th. Finally, they said I was getting a check; this was June 5th. I requested that it be sent to the address on the policy. They had a different address and name to send it to—an internal mistake. They said a check would be on the way and to turn down the online payment request. The check date was supposed to be June 19th. The check never came.

I saw the online request, accepted it, and got paid $418 and some cents on a policy that cost $167 and a phone that originally cost $806. This was after having to wait two months for payment and over 30 emails back and forth. I SAVED ALL THE EMAILS BECAUSE IT WAS INSANE.

I am a fan of Progressive Insurance; currently, I have a boat and one of my cars insured through Progressive. This product diminishes the brand. DO NOT USE!!!!!!!!!

Simple process, easy to find product options and fair pricing to cover my electronics. I'm now covering my Galaxy phone & Lenovo laptop for less than what a major phone company was charging me just to protect my Samsung S24 Ultra. I highly recommend looking into their options and services!
