No delivery for my purchase

I am very disappointed at their service. I ordered a rug which i was told it will be delivered to me in 1 or 2 days. It’s been 4 days and i havent received it. Everyday it is a different story.

Applied for a Job with Woven.

Passed all stages of the interview process until the last video interview.

The interviewer did not have her camera on, and started the interview early - while I was smoking a cigarette - in my own home! I immediatley stopped smoking and did my best to hide the cigarette from view until i could safely "stub" it out.

I received an email less than 10 minutes later informing me I was not successful due to me "smoking during the interview" and it was not professional.

Absolute joke, would not even consider looking back at the recorded video to confirm I was not in fact smoking.

Wrong rug arrived

Our rug has arrived, however when opening the package I see that the incorrect rug has been delivered. The rug that I ordered should have yellow included in the colours and hexagon shapes, whereas the rug that has arrived has blue and grey colours only and triangle shapes.

We have sent a number of emails with no replies, we have phoned the company and no one answered the phone. Is this company a scam?

A complete SCAM company

A complete SCAM company, avoid at all costs! The rugs are poor quality (not like the photos online) and you can’t return them even though they say that you can. Awful company!!

Poor quality even worse customer service

The rug I purchased was received with no problem and initially looked good. Unfortunately for the past 3 months it has continued to shed fibres - even a quick vacuum extracting an enormous quantity of mater (see attached). As more fibres continue to be shed, the colour of the dark blue patten has faded and become patchy (see attached). I contacted Woven (who were admittedly quick to respond), sent photos which were purportedly shown to the supplier. Immediately and without any inspection, I received a response stating that the care instructions were "clearly not followed" and that after 3 months it's basically 'too late'. Clearly a 'canned' response. The care instructions were followed to the letter (even to the point of buying a new new vacuum head for suction only cleaning). If Woven rugs are only intended to last 3-4 months then perhaps this should be clearly stated rather than the company using the tag line that Woven "sell high-end and long-lasting designer rugs". Very disappointed to have spent considerable money on a product that is clearly not fit for purpose and to have received nothing but dismissive correspondence. Please think twice before succumbing to the pretty pictures, if my experience is anything to go by the quality of the products are very poor.

Thieves

Thieves. Beware. Returned rug that was hideous. Had to pay £50 to return. No refund. Then they called for bank details and immediately we had fraudulent transactions taking place on our bank account. They don’t answer their phones and are impossible to contact. Have reported to bank and police.

AVOID IF YOU WANT A RUG THAT LASTS LONGER THEN A MONTH.
Do not buy a rug from this company. Their rugs are poor nasty quality and their customer service is appalling. We ordered a rug that arrived looking a completely different colour to the web images. Contacted them and you have to make your own arrangements to send it back. Decided to keep it and put it in another room. Few weeks later and the rug looks like it years old - worn and shabby. Contacted them and they told me there was nothing they could do as I must have vacuumed it using a beater bar. We haven't even vacuumed it at all! They outright refuse to help any further sending just generic email replies.

Attempted fraud

I ordered a rug from Woven using my new credit card and then experienced attempted credit card fraud a few hours later - Woven was the only vendor I had shared my details with. Then stated receiving phone calls and email requests from someone with details of my order with Woven (and my previous order with them a year earlier), saying please send them copies of my council tax bills/utility bills. I phoned their official office number to try to work out what on earth was going on but nobody answers the phone, so I’ve emailed them to cancel the order and will get my credit card company to reimburse me.

Beautiful rug at a great price

I had a brilliant experience with Woven. I wanted a jute rug for my kitchen. Ordered from Woven on a Saturday, and it was delivered on the Tuesday. The rug is beautiful and exceeds my expectations. They also had 20% off for new customers.

Do not buy from this company the reviews are true!!

Was sent a rug which had clearly been used- human hair and crumbs all over it. The packaging also had the previous owner's name, telephone number and address on - talk about data protection!!!!! Rang them immediately after receiving- no one ever answers the phone or replies to voice messages. Sent them an email via their contact form within their 2 week return period, along with photos. Received a reply asking for more pictures which I did and was offered half of the money back and no refund. I said this was unacceptable and I did not want to keep soiled goods as very unhygienic. They said their return period is 2 weeks and doesn't include weekends, however this is written no where on their website, they are just trying to do everything they can to not give my money back. I will be contacting the people's whose details are on the rug they sent out to let them know. I will also be reporting this company.

Very stressful experience, unanswered phonecalls and generic replies

Ordered Brink & Chapman rug in the black friday sale on 30/11/21 got an email from Woven two weeks later stating "Due to a typographical error in pricing, im afraid to report we have had to cancel your order" and offered a 25% discount on nect order but didn't give me a code!!! At the time they actually answered the phone and had a functioning webchat and I was able to eventually get money put back into my paypal account on 14/12/21.
I had ordered a second rug Lignie Design also in the black Friday Sale on the 1/12/21 thankfully rug eventually arrived on the 23/12/21 after several phonecalls and webchats. Colours were slightly off compared to photos but I guess the photos they use are provided by the Ligne Design not Woven.
Ordered a 3rd rug Ligne Design on 7/01/22 and after a lot of stress and unanswered phone calls to Woven, misinformation, generic responsens from Woven's Zendesk as phones and webchat no longer working I eventually rang Ligne Designs customer services and they were able to tell me that the rug had been sent to Woven over a week before, so I emailed Woven and asked where it was and it eventually arrived on 3/03/22 two months after ordering. Colour is again a bit off but happy with quality and designs of rugs. I rang Woven's customer Services before ordering for my 2nd and 3rd order to make sure prices online were correct and rugs were in stock and they told me each time they were in stock in their UK warehouse which was not correct!
Why did I buy from Woven? Because they are cheaper. Keep in mid if you are ordering outside the UK you will have to pay duty, I paid 94euro duties on a 152euro rug and paid 45euro shipping. If you need a rug quickly and don't want the stress or have the time to chase and follow up Woven for information on when the product they promised will arrive (it stated within 10-15 working days for my orders), then I suggest you buy elsewhere. I don't understand why Woven give false information on delivery and use generic responses. It makes customers feel they've been scammed or the company is going out of business. It's a shame because the rugs that did eventually arrive are good quality.

Poor delivery experience

Sadly, Woven has been let down by a poor choice of courier. DX deliveries driver couldn't be bothered to finish his run and clocked off at 16.36.

I took a day off work to receive my item and cannot do this again.

DX don't offer weekend deliveries so I wont be able to receive my product.

I suggest Woven employ the service of a better courier to ensure a better service. Can't be a good business model to waste money on sending items that aren't actually delivered.

Bad service good outcome in the end

I ordered a rug and it was delivered on time within 4 days which was brilliant! This is though when the good service ended.
The rug was nothing like what I ordered and paid for! I contacted them the following Monday after the weekend and they told me to email pictures of what I'd received and what I was expecting. I heard nothing for 3 days so chased my email up. Lucy was very helpful and said would get back to me once she had spoken with the warehouse.
No email so had to chase yet again 4 days later...nothing so rang and Lucy answered she said she would makesure collection of the old rug would be dealt with and replaced with the rug I originally ordered.
Three days later a new rug appeared by DHL! It was the same rug as the old one!!! So now I'm stuck with two horrible rugs and had no reply to my emails and voicemail...come on Woven sort it out please! I'd rather have a refund and take these two horrible ones away!

***SINCE this review Lucy has spoken with me at length and assured me the old rugs will be collected and the one I originally ordered will be sent asap. It appears the code on the system is wrong so it messed up the order. Thanks Lucy very helpful.

do not buy from here..i recieved rug…

do not buy from here..i recieved rug covered in stains..contacted them numerous times by email still no reply and its been over a week. phone and its automated saying nobody available. proper dodgy so avoid. looks like ill have to go to small claims over this matter....update on rug on 21st of june 2022. still no joy about my refund. was asked to keep rug with a twenty pound refund which i refused as rug is useless to anyone as covered in black marks. complete silence off them now. be wary about ordering from this company!!

Generally great experience with Woven

My experience with Woven was on the whole excellent.

I bought a fairly expensive rug at a good price. It arrived in the timescale specified but although the rug was of good quality it was too big for the room so I had to send it back.

This is where things got a little less straightforward. I don't know if it was a bad week for them but I phoned Woven a couple of times and after 15 minutes on hold just got a voice mail which was never responded to.

This lack of being able to contact them on the telephone is why it's a four rather than five star review.

On the other hand, I found their email support to be excellent. My initial support request was responded to by the start of the next working day by Lucy.

In that and subsequent responses she was brilliant at guiding me through the returns procedure and ultimately issuing me a prompt refund.

Thanks Lucy, you were great and a credit to the company.

I've since bought a replacement rug from Woven which is more suited to my space and I've very happy

Would buy from Woven again.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. Rug came covered in stains so we cannot use and they will not pay return costs. This is unacceptable for faulty items. £40 cost to us to return a redundant product.

No Aftersales care and rob you of your money

If I could give 0 stars I would. Ordered 2 rugs and spent £200.

Me and my partner work and are out 7:30-17:00. The delivery service does not allow you to pick a time on the weekend or after 5pm. They make you pick a week day then they deliver when it suits them. This meant we had to have it delivered to a neighbour on second attempt.

When we collected from next door we realised only 1 of the 2 rugs had been delivered- very conveniently the cheapest one that cost £35. I’m £165 out of pocket and no second rug.

I’ve called 4 times, waiting on hold for 10 mins each time with no response.

I want them to tell me if there’s a second delivery and if not- refund me.

Wouldn’t buy from here again, stay away!!
