Yes I have. Triple checked that I have.
Have ordered multiple times from the site without issue. But obviously this time they don't want the business.

Order at Your Own Risk!

Low prices and free shipping on all orders to Canada? Seems too good to be true, because if you're a Blu-ray collector in the Great North than you know how hard it can be to find certain titles at reasonable prices.

Well I should have listened to what my mom used to tell me when I was a kid: if it's too good to be true, it probably is.

I used wowhd.ca to order an item and it never showed up (I live in Ontario). The shipping confirmation email they sent me didn't include a tracking number (which seems unusual) so I couldn't check its status. I have no idea if they actually shipped my item or just took my money.

They did refund me, about 60 days later and only after a few emails in which I said I was going to contact my bank.

I know some people online swear by this company but I would not recommend even my worst enemy order anything from this site. Order at your own risk!

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

By mistake I ordered the DVD of a Criterion release. When I realised my error I re-ordered the Blu Ray.I contacted WOW HD several times to ask them to cancel the DVD. They never replied to several e-mails over two days and went ahead and shipped both the DVD and the Blu Ray. I will never use this terrible company again because of their awful customer service. I am disabled and unable to return the unwanted item which has left me nearly £30 out of pocket.

I orded a blu-ray box. Have now waited for 62 days and still now parcel from them? When contacting them it takes them two days to answer for them? Customer services is very bad! You don't know who is answer your mail? Am so tired of there bad service! I have askt to get my money back, but they say i have to wait 60 days before the can do anything? What kind of policy is that? When order they say 8-15 days delivery! This is a lie... It is impossible for them to deliver in 8-15 days! Don't even go here to buy anything! Warning! I have wated 62 days now, no bluray box, not anny money back?

Cheap, but a gamble as to whether you'll get your items

Very cheap and good enough... until you have a problem. And read the reviews, there's a better than average chance of this. I had packages shipped to the wrong location, a location that I had deleted from their database months prior. Yet somehow their system resurrected it and decided to use that as my default address instead of my actual default. When I discovered their error immediately after ordering and requested an address change straight away, they didn't respond until many days later saying they couldn't do anything because they had already shipped the items.

No customerservice at all.

No customerservice at all.

I ordered an item and mistakenly ordered a wrong region bluray. Emailed within 15 min of ordering to cancel my order. No response for 3 days. On the 4th day i get a message stating my order is shipped. Will never order here again.

10+ years a customer

Over the past 10+ years I have probably bought half of my music collection via this store (300 +), first being cdwow and later rebranded to wowhd. Due to all the negative reviews here, which I am not disputing, I feel the need to share my experience.

In general the main reason for me to continue buying here are the low prices, enormous range and overall reliability. Apparently a couple of years back the company struggled after a takeover, which at the time also affected the web store, but in the past years this seems to have settled down.

Pros:
- good prices incl shipping
- huge range to choose from
- orders have always arrived
- Less hassle and no ridiculous shipping costs for NL customers compared to other major webstores

Cons:
- Average delivery time of 2 weeks (some times exceeded a month
- Packaging is indeed cheap and not too well protected against careless handling, which has resulted in some cracked jewel cases. Most do get there in one piece.

All in all I feel the pros significantly outweigh the cons especially considering the competition in my geographic region.

KAPOW! WOWzersHolyDishonest???

Ordered 'NEW' Blu-ray, it will be the first and last time I do.

FOOL ME ONCE SHAME ON YOU, FOOL ME TWICE SHAME ON ME!

I did research WOWHD for reviews beforehand and was concerned with some of the feedback but I really wanted this film and
it was cheaper than ordering through ebayuk, now I know why!

Item arrived in about 11 days in an undamaged adequate thin'ish brown ribbed package, not as good as a padded envelope imo.

Blu-ray was shrink wrapped. Upon opening the transparent outer sleeve is totally wrinkled, looks terrible, something I've never experienced with shrink wrapped items from retailers in the UK.

At the bottom of the spine some of the plastic has snapped off.
Now baring in mind this was sealed but there is no broken plastic to be found, very suspicious.

Now I notice the paper cover is protruding out quite a bit above the transparent sleeve. The front top edge of the paper cover has several small tears and scuffs. The disc itself has a finger mark on it, though does play ok.

Do they expect customers to believe this is 'NEW' and not 'USED' and re-sealed?

I contact WOWzersHolyDishonest??? letting them know my thoughts attaching several photo's. I inform them I will be leaving
feedback on trustpilot and bluray.com if the matter is not resolved to my satsifaction.

They reply within 24-48hrs offering me a measly 10% refund for the Blu-ray case damage or I can return it to the USA address given for an exchange or full refund.
They do not even acknowledge or mention the small tears to the paper cover or that I have been sent a 'USED' item even if in error!

Now there is no way I am going to returm the item at my own risk which could go missing in the postal system, I would have to pay the postage and it would take up to 2 weeks or 4 weeks for an exchange to arrive.

Under protest I reluctantly accepted the 10% refund.

LET THIS BE A WARNING TO OTHER POTENTIAL CUSTOMERS.

Ordered by mistake the same CD twice

Ordered by mistake the same CD twice, stupid of course. However noticed my mistake wihin an hour and asked to cancel the order or change my order to another cd. This happened LAST SUNDAY may 13. Today, may 15 I received an answer that the CD was already in the mail and if I want a refund I can return it TO THE US..... (from Holland). Of course this company will have to know that this NOT a solution since the costs of sending it back will most likely be higher than the value of the CD.
LOUSY SERVICE. Never buy a CD from CD wow again.

Unfortunately / afrader!!!!!

Unfortunately, I have ordered cd’s often here. But about a year ago I ordered 4 cd’s and waited a few months afrer wich i contacted them. I should wait longer. If nothing received within 45 days they would refund or sent a new shipment. I chose a new shipment of the same cd’s. I have shown my patience and nothing came. Then I asked for a refund almost a year later. They could give no refund because it was too long ago. I am very dissappointed and wil not order here anymore.
€45,- down the drain. Thanks for nothing.
I wanted to give two stars for earlier shipments that had gone well but after reading some similar reviews here i chose to do not so 1 star.

34 days later

Finally received my dvd from wowhd.fr 34 days later and the dvd came from Belgium if you are waiting your order wait until 45 days after your order if it not arrive email wowhd to re ship our re fond.

Bestelling na half jaar nooit geleverd

Een bestelde cd is na een half jaar niet geleverd. In die tijd 3 automatische mails gehad met bericht vertraging bij leverancier, waarvan de laatste in augustus. Na contact opnemen met WOWHD automatische mail ontvangen:
"As of August 1st 2015 WOWHD is under new ownership. We have no control over any orders placed prior to us acquiring WOWHD. If you have yet to receive merchandise that was ordered and paid for prior to August 1st 2015 please contact your financial institution and file a claim"

Na verbazing hierover te uiten, opnieuw zelfde automatische mail ontvangen. Naar klantvriendelijkheid, cd en geld kan ik dus, net zoals duidelijk vele anderen, wel fluiten...

Oplichters.... niks bestellen!

Ik heb in mei iets besteld en betaald. Eerst krijg ik steeds mail dat het vertraagd is. Nu heb ik een paar keer gemaild en krijg ik dit terug:

Zeer slechte ervaring WOW HD. Wees gewaarschuwd!

Heb op WOW HD al een review achtergelaten in het Engels, maar die zal ongetwijfeld niet zichtbaar worden gemaakt. Hierbij alsnog mijn Engelse review (te lui om weer te vertalen):

Poor packaging, poor product quality, poor return information and poor after sales in general.

- Double LP (€34) sleeve was damaged upon arrival.
- Additional border fees of €20 as it turned out the LP had to come from the US (not mentioned anywhere!).
- LPs themselves were so wobbly I had to return it.
- Return postage costs not fully covered (€10 of €13)
- Inadequate return information (PO BOX) resulted in a bounced package (via PostNL).
- Was asked to send it back again through another way with additional costs for own account.

Decided to take my loss (€57) and never order again at WOW HD. Be warned!!
