Unfortunately, the Wren Kitchens team has been let down by their delivery partner, YODEL. Our delivery failed to materialize, and we were had to reach out to discover there had been a vehicle breakdown. Despite the delay, no one contacted us the following day with an update; Once again today, the onus was on us to chase Wren for information. While we've received plenty of apologies via email, we still have no delivery date. After two days of waiting, the lack of proactive communication is really disappointing.

Helpful design ideas and extremely patient. Due to a changing scope for our kitchen project and building works we required multiple changes to our design and Martin provided these happily with additional suggestions and attention to detail. His patience with our ever changing circumstance was much appreciated and made the process much less stressful!

Having had Wren for my kitchen, I now have them doing a bedroom. Martin was my designer and from the first visit he talked me through all the possibilities & options, ending in the perfect solution for my needs.

Great choice and very happy with product. Nicholas in your customer care team is a total star! Professional, empathetic, helpful and just super lovely to speak to. Sorted my problem without any fuss or challenge (unlike Martin in you Reading showroom who was all chat and smiles when working for the sell but cold, un engaging, basically rude and gave duff and patronising info when we needed after delivery help). Thank goodness Nick picked up my call! This 5 star rating is all for him and his fabulous customer service. The world needs more Nicks!!

We purchased a kitchen from Wren Kitchens following a visit to the Reading showroom, where we were shown a specific door from the Henley Timber range by the salesperson and told clearly: “this is your door.” We had previously experienced issues with Wren’s door quality and specifically sought reassurance. We were shown a door that appeared solid, well-built, and of good quality, and we relied on that representation when deciding to proceed. We also have a photograph of the salesperson holding that door.
When the kitchen was delivered, we formed the view that the doors supplied were materially different from the showroom sample—lighter, less robust, and more prone to damage. We raised this immediately and have maintained that position throughout.
The situation caused significant disruption to our family. Our previous kitchen had already been removed, and with three young children we had no option but to move in temporarily with family while attempting to resolve matters.
Unfortunately, further issues became apparent very quickly after installation. Within just one month, the dishwasher frontal had to be replaced due to moisture causing the paintwork to peel and the wood to warp. Since then, we have required two additional replacement dishwasher frontals, and several other door frontals have also needed changing because the finish does not appear suitable for even minor exposure to water, such as drips from the sink. The kickboards near the dishwasher are now also warping. This raises serious concerns about its durability and suitability for a kitchen environment.
Wren have not accepted our position. They later offered £300 as a “full and final settlement,” which we did not accept. Despite this, they now suggest that the matter was settled. We have asked for any document evidencing an agreement, but none has been provided, and no payment has ever been made.
We also wrote to Wren from an early stage making clear that the showroom sample door would be essential evidence if the matter proceeded further, and requesting that it be retained. We are now told that it was not kept. Given the importance of that item to the dispute, we find this difficult to understand.
We attempted to resolve the matter through the Furniture Ombudsman and the Financial Ombudsman Service. However, those processes do not involve examination of physical evidence or oral testimony. The matter is now subject to legal proceedings, where evidence can be properly considered.
In the meantime, the durability of the supplied doors has been disappointing. Despite careful use, a number have already developed visible chipping, which in our experience is not what would reasonably be expected of a relatively new kitchen (see photos).
This has been a lengthy and stressful process for our household. We chose Wren based on their reputation, but in our experience both the product quality and the handling of this issue have fallen well short of expectations.
We would recommend that prospective customers take particular care to ensure that what is supplied matches what is shown in the showroom, and complain immediately. Having said that, this is precisely what we did, and yet we are still having to go to court.

From the moment we stepped into the Wren showroom in Reading ,Berks we were looked after by the lovely Claire Hodd. We had a clear budget and only went the tiniest bit over but the quality and design of the kitchen we have had installed it was worth every penny . At each of our meetings we were listen to and our wishes were adhered to . Claire was patient and very professional!! Claire put our minds at rest on more than one occasion and we are very happy with our new kitchen !!

Christian had understood the brief we gave Wren and did a very thorough and thoughtful job in designing the wardrobes we ordered for 2 bedrooms. We await the delivery and installation and hope the same standard will be achieved.

Wren was the one and only kitchen showroom that we went to and we were blown away from the start, the showroom is amazing with so many ideas and a huge range. We booked an appointment with the very lovely and very patient Claire Hodd to design our kitchen, and over a few appointments we agreed on the design and went ahead. We went with one of Wren's fitters, Darius, who has been brilliant, his work rate and attention to detail is incredible, and we are so happy with the final result. The communication from Wren throughout the entire process is probably the best i have ever seen from a company, nothing is left to chance, you know what is happening every step of the way. Would not hesitate to recommend them and use them again.

Wren is a really good company. The quality of furniture is good. They are helpful in the planning and are willing to help. The problems start if you missed something in the project yourself, for ex. the cabinet on the paper was touching the wall but in reality should be just standing next to the wall or wrong depth of the fridge was assumed by Wren etc. Then the company is very reluctant to help. They’ll fix it for you but if you pay for it. There is really bad customer service with only general e-mails send to multiple staff members, so you can get reply for your e-mail from multiple people and there is no e-mail chain to refer to. We don’t stare daily at paper projects and design like Wren does, so for a single customer if you won’t spot the difference on paper you are screwed. They will say this is Wren policy for you to spot the mistake. After that is just constant fight of fixing things. We had error with both kitchen and wardrobe and they wouldn’t help us. We had to pay additional fee to fix the mistakes that were done by project designer, but because there is no actual proof of project being prepared, we have no back up for saying it was their mistake. That approach was really disappointing and lead us from writting a really nice review to one highlighting the issues.

I ordered bedroom furniture for two bedrooms from Wren Kitchens and I am absolutely and utterly regretting my decision.
I waited nearly two months for delivery and installation. The delivery was already rescheduled once, and when it finally arrived, the installers didn’t even take the boxes to the bedrooms where the furniture was meant to be fitted. A week later, all 50 boxes are still sitting in my living room because the installer couldn’t be bothered to carry them upstairs.
After spending nearly £10,000, I still don’t have an installation date. When I called the helpline to find out what was going on, I was transferred between five different people. The installer simply walked away after sending a text message, and no one has taken responsibility since.
The customer service manager promised to call me back yesterday, and I’m still waiting. Honestly, this has been one of the most stressful and unprofessional service experiences I’ve had in a very long time. I would never recommend this company to anyone.

My experience with Wren has been great. From planning to delivery it was a smooth transition. I was kept informed at all stages of the process.
Chayton from the planning department was excellent in helping out with the design.
Keifer and Dean from the delivery team were excellent as well as they made delivery very easy and did a neat job.

Lovely wardrobe however it’s literally Ikea units! I didn’t realise I would be getting an Ikea wardrobe with a plinth going round making it look fitted. I thought the wardrobe was going to be right up to the wall but nope… 8cm gap either side hidden by plinth and units top to bottom you can’t see the carpet or wall.
Also when I would phone for the person who did my quote, I was told they were in a meeting… Every. Single. Time! What? The customer service on some members does need a little work as half the time they didn’t sound too bothered. All in all I can’t really do anything because Wren have their money and the person who I was dealing with hasn’t bothered replying to my last message

Recently had our kitchen upgraded by visiting the Reading Store. Had a fantastic Wren Representative support us with our design and choices by the name of Cristian. We were not the easiest of clients to deal with, Cristian was extremely patient with us and helped us find our perfect kitchen.
Some items were damaged on arrival however, I was able to order replacements using the app immediately, very quick turn around, no hassle at all.
Had a very positive experience overall, would definitely recommend!
