I bought BMW 9months ago

I bought BMW 9months ago, the garage refurbished the wheels and lacquered them black. After washing the wheels the lacquer has come off. I spoke to the after care team and they said it was my fault for using jet wash on the wheels. I asked if the garage used a jet wash to wash wheel and they said yes. Terrible excuse felt like I was fobbed off. If the wheels were refurbed properly then the lacquer would not have came off, or the could have powder coated the wheels. Shoddy job all round. Their loss, I won’t be back!!!

I dealt with a member of the sales team called Michael, was interested in driving the BMW 320i, I was in the process of looking at the car, he refused to let me test drive it unless I was ready to buy it. How can I possibly consider to even buy a car without test driving it, I even asked for a 60 month quote for a HP finance agreement, he muttered ufff under his breath, I felt belittled. Would never consider buying car from there, if I have to deal with people like that. Lost out out on potential because his attitude stinks.

Faulty car

I usually don’t write reviews, but I feel compelled to share my experience.

Last year, I purchased a Range Rover from Wynyard motors, what a mistake that was, Within a year, the car has been to the garage 3 times for different faults, costing me a fortune to fix.

Selling a faulty car and leaving the buyer to deal with the consequences is unacceptable. I wouldn’t recommend Wynyard Motors to anyone.

If I could give the place a zero star I would

I regret ever buying a car from this garage. Within just 60 days of owning the vehicle, the armrest snapped while I was simply using it for its intended purpose — resting my arm on it. When I contacted the garage, instead of honouring their responsibilities, they claimed I had “admitted to breaking it” just by saying I used it.

That’s nonsense. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, anything sold must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and last a reasonable length of time. An armrest should not break in less than two months under normal use. The garage’s refusal to deal with this shows a total disregard for both their customers and their legal obligations.

Their attitude left me feeling ignored, blamed, and completely unsupported. If this is how they treat a simple fault, I dread to think how they would handle something serious.

Future customers beware: once they have your money, don’t expect fairness, accountability, or basic customer service.

If I could give 0 stars I would . I bought a car 4.5 month ago from this garage had nothing but chew with the car overall think it’s 9 times it’s been in and out the garage since buying it . after sales who talk down to you! No customer service skills at all! They don’t give a toss once you drive away in the car! All you get is we will call you back and then don’t and the once or twice they did they speak snotty to you! Latest problem with it lost all the suspension on the rear end of the bmw x5 Told me my warranty had ran out and I would have to pay for them to fix it ….which I did costing me £672 ! Within the space of 2 weeks my car was in and out of the garage another 3 times with a warning light now on that only appeared since them supposedly fixing the suspension problem so now not only have I still got no suspension I now have a warning light on my dash also which makes the car kangaroo up the road . And still to this day not fixed and there wanting me to take it back in and charge me yet again to try fix it when they obviously haven’t got a clue on what’s actually wrong with the car and expect me to just keep flinging money out my own pocket at it ! All the times they have had the car trying to fix it they offer no courtesy car or nothing so taxis back n forth to work school runs day to day running about they just don’t care ! Absolute joke of a garage ! Stay clear if ya don’t want ya eyes ripped out !! Don’t buy from this garage wouldn’t want anyone else gettin ripped off !

highly recommend if you need a car with…

highly recommend if you need a car with no high pressure sales. I have just purchased my 3rd car from Wynyard Motors and as I seriously cant rate them high enough. They helped me even set up my insurance and tax. The after sales is spot on and I know i can confidently call for any advice from them. All my cars have been perfect. *****

£1000 repair bill after 5 days due to faulty sunroof

Purchased a car from them and within the first 5 days the sunroof started failing and tearing the seals apart. I took the car to a specialists who gave me a quote of £942 to repair the seals. When I took it back to Wynyard Motor Company they told me the seals are cosmetic only and they will not be paying for the repairs. I tried to tell them the specialist told me the seals were a protection for the sunroof drains to prevent them getting blocked which causes leaks but they weren't interested. It's a shame really because the sale of the car was really smooth and easy but the aftersales was a let down. They were still really polite and friendly all the way through even when they refused to repair the car. I just wanted a car that operates how it should and didn't want a £1000 bill 5 days into ownership.

Bought a Mercedes GLE and purchase experience very good. However the comprehensive warranty they offer is limited to a £40 an hour labour cap and no garage will work for that on a prestige car. They also promise a minimum of 6 months service on the car. They do a basic service and not the one due and do not enter it into the car or with the manufacturer. Do not reply to emails to assist. Left with a gearbox fault that requires a merc specialist and a transmission oil service that is overdue.

I recently purchased a new car from Wynyard Motor Company, and I couldn't be happier with my experience. From my initial enquiry, the team was professional and welcoming. When I arrived to view the car, there was no pressure from pushy salesmen; instead, I was given the keys and encouraged to inspect the vehicle at my own pace, with the reassurance that help was available inside if I needed anything.

The part-exchange offer they provided for my old car was extremely fair, which made the decision to buy even easier. Shortly after purchasing my new vehicle, I experienced a minor issue, which was completely unforeseen and not the fault of the dealership. However, the exceptional way the team handled this is what truly sets Wynyard Motor Company apart. They spared no expense and went above and beyond to ensure the problem was promptly resolved, demonstrating their commitment to customer satisfaction.

A huge thanks to Greg, the owner, whose dedication to excellent customer service deserves recognition. Professional dealership

Fantastic company to deal with. Travelled from Ireland to purchase my BMW. Car was superb throughout. Staff went over and above to help complete paperwork and I was dealt with in a courteous and professional manner. Highly recommended.

unscrupulous. avoid

put a deposit down on a car the day after my car was stolen.

when the insurance explained how long it would be to be paid out, i released the hold on the car, and asked for my £100 back. was asked for my bank details and they would send it out, i've then had to email and been fobbed off by the sales director Greg Ramsay.

i eventually initiated a chargeback, and they've fought it and have lied to get the money back.

they're utter scumbags and thieves.

i wouldn't take a car off them now if it was free.

and before they start i've got the emails saying they'd look into the refund... they just ghosted me and kept the money. if they do that with the deposit, how unscrupulous are they going to be with cars, servicing and the like?

Totally underhand approach to buying a…

Totally preposterous and underhand approach to buying my vehicle. Offered an amount then found every spurious reason to knock it down, trying to say a tiny stone in a tyre was a nail and then sticking a finger in the exhaust pipe and pretending that meant something wrong with the car - even thought it had been on the manufacturers diagnostics equipment days before they found it totally fine and literally just passed its MOT. Underhand tactics. Were sent packing.

Outstanding!! What a great company

Phenomenal top to bottom, Greg the owner and Sean his right hand man are two of the finest individuals myself and my wife have had the pleasure of meeting.

What a range of cars! We purchased a BMW X4 and the support as we were delayed with our private loan was beyond what any other Company would do.

I couldn't recommend them more highly. They genuinely care about the customer experience and that your happy. Great price for the new car and for the trade in.

Just had a holiday in the X4! Love Wynyard Motor Company and the team there. Special thanks to Greg! Above and beyond, even repairing an alloy after my wife scuffed it a week after getting it. Managed to stop me getting a divorce haha.

It was a great pleasure to finally purchase a car from Wynyard Motor Company Ltd. Greg and the rest of the staff are highly professional and knowledgeable.

The Volvo V90 I purchased is in excellent condition. Before I picked it up, it had been thoroughly serviced and passed a new MOT inspection. It is no wonder that the company has won the prestigious award for the best car company in the UK.

Greg is a busy individual, but he always makes time for his customers. He understands that goodwill is essential for customer satisfaction and happiness.

I thoroughly enjoyed working with Greg and would gladly do so again in the future. I highly recommend Greg's company to anyone seeking not only a high-quality vehicle but also exceptional customer service.

Bought a C class coupe mercedes benz at…

Bought a C class coupe mercedes benz at a very high price, less than 4 months the engine light came on, only to find out that the car was not well kept.They did a fake servicing on the car, when I checked the engine oil it was on minimum level after doing less than few miles. After carrying out diagnotic check there was few issues with the car, contacted the company, they did not want to know. I am left with a bill of over £3000. Avoid this company or do a full check on their cars, they look professional, but a real cowboys.

I bought a beautiful car from Wynard, the sales process was very easy and they could not have been more helpful. Unfortunately the car had a fault, which they had no way of knowing and the customer service could not have been any better. Wynard were incredibly helpful and got the problem sorted very quickly. Greg is such a lovely chap to deal with.bought the car unseen and paid deposit.greg held onto it for a month till I was free to go and collect it.even sent off V5 for me when paid for .collected us from station and car beautifully prepared ready for us with nearly full tank petrol.
Couldn’t have been nicer or more friendly.will definitely be getting our next car if we can .genuine nice guy and honest .real diamond guy🙏⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

5* Service from start to finish...
I can honestly say that I have been searching town and country for my new car and have dealt with a lot of dealers and none have come close to the service, help and advice that I have received from Greg at Wynyard Motors. His fleet of stock are all top class and I would highly recommend that if your after a car and Greg has the stock, go there to purchase, you will not be disappointed and you will be well looked after. Greg is an honest genuine guy and I look forward to dealing with him again in the future. 5* from me.
