Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Evaluating 183 reviews, most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Many customers express significant dissatisfaction with the customer service, describing it as unhelpful and difficult to access, often leading to unresolved issues and frustration. The product itself also receives criticism, with some reporting consoles breaking within a year and others finding the gaming experience, particularly online, to be poor due to issues like high ping and constant updates. A major point of contention is the pricing, with many feeling that the costs for subscriptions and games are too high and have increased significantly without a corresponding increase in value or quality. The subscription model, particularly Game Pass, is frequently criticized for its rising price and perceived lack of new, high-quality titles, leading many to question its value. Conversely, some people also felt that the consoles are reliable and offer good value, with a selection of entertaining games, and some appreciate the convenience of Game Pass.

Xbox is dumb now🤦🏾‍♂️

I’m 36y/o I’ve been a customer for years but now I’m done with Xbox! Why are there games on the game pass that we can’t play? I have the newest Xbox and everything why are there games on the game pass we can’t win. How do you add a game to the game pass for less than a month and immediately start asking people to pay for it after the original CEO retired all this stupid shit started happening and that’s crazy work! I’m going to steam machine I can’t wait till it comes out. 😡

Half of the reviews are just fake for Xbox man

Half of the reviews are just random complaints and errors. People are making up sorry excuses for a complaint and Xbox is actually great in general. It’s easy to control and it’s fun because with gamepass you get so many free games ps5 have to pay for

Absolutely terrible

Absolutely terrible. The interface for entering information is archaic (you have to scroll along a virtual keyboard to enter individual letters and then toggle between keyboards to enter special characters. Pathetically primitive). Every time you want to log in, multiple and play a game, at least one update or patch must install and the system reboots. Frequent and repeated PIN and password reentries are required, each taking about 15 minutes. The 45 minutes it takes to actually start playing a given game isn't worth the bother. Highly recommend against this system.

Xb1x/ is garbage…

The xbox x/s series is the same garbage as before, they say improved gaming I can't see any improvement apart from the graphics, you can see your avatar getting blown to bits better. The ping against Ps5 PC gamers is absolutely pathetic, this is my last XBOX anything I will buy I'm not even buying games for it anymore.

Awful avoid

Never purchase gift cards from this incompetent company. Purchased a gift from a friend for christmas and when they come to scratch off the code, the start was completely missing. Contacted support who gave me the supposed code only to give it to my friend and find it's already been redeemed. Conta ted again and there's nothing they can do - so they take take your money and you get nothing in return. Total scam never buy these gift cards in store you'll be literally throwing your money away.

Game Pass is trash!

Game Pass is trash!
Many games that are available with game pass that are installable don't install. Trying to manage gamepass game doesn't work. I bought a game on xbox store (bought, not downloaded through game pass), then deleted the game to save storage. Later I upgraded my game pass and wanted to redownload the game I bought, and xbox did not save my purchase history so it wanted to charge me again for the same game. THIEFS! You owe me money. Options for installable games is extemely limited as most GamePass games are available through cloud gaming. Xbox is dying and I am ready to say my good byes. Thiefs.

Do NOT buy digital games.

I bought an online game, played it a little bit, realised the game wasn't like it'#s description at all. Requested a refund and boom "can't refund digital games as they've been consumed"
I don't remember downloading the game and unlocking some special level-up perk that sticks with me for life, of course I should be able to refund it, give me my money back and remove access from the product. I've done it before in the past, but as of recent it's all about consumption.

Not what it used to be .

Not what it used to be .. I have tried to reach out about a stolen Xbox Series X. It has no tracking and it's next gen! Nope do better Xbox. I've talked to so many rude people 😡 I'll most likely now never get it back because of police and Xbox . Good bye playing Fable. Thanks Xbox. Been a slice UPDATE. Xbox doesn't cover stolen consoles in warranty. Get a brain Microsoft. Put a GPS tracker in it. You have so much money and can't help the consumer.

My 11 year old son was locked out of…

My 11 year old son was locked out of the user login to his Xbox. I have tried repeatedly to login and when I called customer service they offered no help other than a huge URL for support that I had to manage after spending hundreds of dollars for a useless box. I will never buy another Xbox again. It is just a silly credentialing issue that will wind up in the recycling bin. DON'T BUY AN XBOX UNLESS YOU WANT MORE PROBLEMS AND AN UNHAPPY CHILD.
