Guys. Terrific product. I have owned about 4 so far - Venus, Roma and the Street. The newest Roma has the new closing feature without the pin. My experience is that it rarely, but occasionally sticks to close - and less often - open. This can be inconvenient. Suggest some help on how to lubricate, etc. on the closing mechanism. Otherwise, built like a tank and I have put a couple thousand miles on mine. I wish you had an electric coming in the future. I think that is a more popular option for many people with less energy than some of us. As for me, I love you as you are - just need that new closing mechanism to be a wee bit more smooth.

The Xooter rolls well , smooth & fast! The deck is very low, so need to really watch for bumps of any kind. Fold up mechanism is convenient and once you get used to it, easy. Optional 'ergonomic grips' are almost a must...the original foam is not comfortable and I imagine not long lasting. The grips are very hard to put on, I have not been able to get the longer one on yet, too tight. I plan to try a hair dryer to maybe soften it up so it will slide all the way on.

Screws came loose fell off handlebar within two weeks I purchased new screws and tightened them and they fell off in two days. Solid scooter but the terrible handler bar design makes it unrideable.

Bought an MG scooter from them around 2 years ago and I have been very happy with it. I love to ride it, it's sturdy, and I've gotten a good service when ordering replacement parts. Overall, my experience with this product and the company has been a pleasant one.

Ups:
- Rolls very very smoothly.
- People often tells me on the street: "Oh, that's a cool scooter"

Nits:
- The experience could be improved when riding on rainy weather. Tires get considerably slippery when wet. Also, I'd like it to have a fender in the front wheel so I wouldn't get all splashed from the mud on the street.

Product is great. I received what I wanted (rack) and the merch was top quality! Use it on my elliptigo and it makes me a styling commuter!

Xootr MG rides well, folds and sets up easily, and ordering was quick and easy.

Hard on the knees. Expensive and the accessory bag that I purchase with it barely fits, it now has rips on the sewn sides.

Wish I was able to lock the mount to the bike or at least have it so it's not so easy to steal. Other than that love it!

Best kick scooters and folding bikes!

Our family has 2 Xootr Swift folding bikes (bought in 2002 and 2007, unfortunately no longer made) and 3 kick scooters (bought 2005, 2008 and 2013) and we are very pleased with the elegance, solidity and reliability of those products.

Great product, and good people. Even though my model is discontinued, Steve took the time to send me the right part.

The Xootr rides beautifully, but I've had sooooo many problems maintaining it. Parts get loose very often (it's only 1 year old). The folding mechanism "QuickClick" button became super hard to operate after a couple of months - it's very hard to fold and unfold.
Also the lever to adjust the height keeps needing to be adjusted all the time.

For a $250 Xootr, I feel this is really bad value for money. I would not recommend it or buy it again, which is unfortunate becase when it works fine, it does ride great.

Decent product - rattles a lot. Has been hard to fix but good customer service. Minor design defects but gets me to work on time!

Super strong scooter that is well made. It could lasts decades.

I have no idea how many miles I have put on my Xootr since buying it years and years ago...but it's a ton. I used to throughout my 7 years or so in NYC, got to work across town on cross-streets from Grand Central...I even rode it down a hill at what must have been 40 mph to get to my departure train station almost every day. (Which by the way was terrifying). Good quality parts for reasonable prices, good support, and a rock solid transportation tool. I no longer live in NYC but I now use it in the paddock at the race track to get around. It's the best money I've ever spent.
