What a trip!!
Loved every second

Just finished the Greek Cyclades trip with Ellen and Dal! Wonderful Host and Skipper. This is my second Y.G. tour and I hope to try another route as a next adventure. Ellen’s chef skills, detail oriented care made everything so enjoyable. Dal’s obvious experience on boats and the sea made us feel safe and comfortable. In addition to all this they were both so warm and friendly. We enjoyed chatting and hanging out with them as well. Perfect way to kick off the summer with a sailing holiday.

I wanted to take a moment to express my sincere gratitude for the incredible week of sailing around the Greek islands. It was truly an unforgettable experience, and I cannot thank you enough for making it possible, Yacht Getaways.
Firstly, I would like to commend our skipper, Daan, for his exceptional skills and making us feel safe at all times. He was a true professional, and his knowledge of the area was invaluable. He was always willing to answer our questions, give recommendations for the most amazing dinners, and went above and beyond to ensure that we had the best possible experience.
Secondly, I must mention the chef's perfect skills and personality. Luiz, this wouldn’t have been the same experience without you. The meals were absolutely delicious, and we looked forward to every mealtime. Luiz’ friendly and accommodating nature made us feel right at home, and we truly appreciated all of his hard work. The memories that came from these two along with the entire week of sights and experiences is something unforgettable.
Overall, I cannot recommend your company enough. From the moment we boarded the boat, we felt welcomed and taken care of. The boat was in excellent condition, and the crew was exceptional. Thank you again for an unforgettable week of fun sailing around the Greek islands.THANK YOU for everything.

The Aeolian Islands are beautiful and so underrated; and the entire trip was elevated by the amazing service provided by Yacht Getaways.

Ollie and Romina were an outstanding skipper/host duo, and were always so attentive at making sure we had the best time possible.

The catamaran was comfortable and while we loved exploring all the islands, it was always a treat to get back on the boat and enjoy a nice dip in an idyllic cove or a good chat with Ollie and Rom.

Already dreaming about our next adventure!

Dal and Ellen were the best. They were warm, welcoming and professional.
Dal is a great Skipper and a super person. Ellen is a sweetheart and a wonderful cook:-) She is smiling all the time! We met some wonderful people w around the world and enjoyed everyday.

Having just completed our first sailing holiday, we were blown away! We sailed Croatia, DBV to Split, with Davide and Toby as our skipper and host. Nothing was too much trouble and they made the trip perfect. I would definitely have the larger Catamaran as it gives more outside space. It’s worth the extra. The locations we visited were fabulous. We could not rate this experience higher!

Daan and Luiz enhanced our experience beyond expectations. I could write about how beautiful the Greek Cyclades are, how great the food was, and how relaxing sailing with a glass of wine is, but I’m not a Hollywood writer. If you’ve done the research to get this far, just book this trip and thank me later. 10/10

I can’t speak about all the tours, but our recent trip with Dal and Ellen to the Greek Cyclades was pretty close to perfect. We couldn’t be more pleased with our choice to sail with Yacht Getaways. The company was very reliable before the cruise and the other guests on our trip were incredibly drama free. But you just can’t beat Dal and Ellen. Their kindness and attention were beyond what we expected. So happy we chose the particular week and cruise.

Sailing and motoring via catamaran through the Cyclades was a fabulous experience. With just four cabins, four couples on board, it was like a private tour. by the first day, we had bonded with the other couples from New Zealand, Australia and Canada.
Our gracious skilled Captain Martin and first mate Roxanne took care of every detail. Roxanne prepared scratch lunches and breakfasts with lots of fresh fruits and vegetables. We could help with the sailing and docking as much as we wanted or just laze on deck as we visited each charming, less traveled Cyclades island. When we anchored outside the marina, Martin was willing to go back and forth ferrying us in the dingy whenever we liked. Weather was ideal in early June.
I will definitely recommend yacht getaways. Next time, I would opt for the deluxe catamaran to have a bigger shower space and take advantage of storage option in paros to stash our luggage for the rest of our staying Greece.

We had a wonderful trip thanks to our delightful skipper & host team, Dal & Ellen. Thank you so much for everything - great food (on the boat and off), great company and perfect balance between being on the water and on the islands. Loved it and would highly recommend.

We sailed on the 10th June on the Nolima around the Ionian and it was FANTASTIC!
The cat itself was a beautiful vessel, comfortable and well set out. The route took us to some beautiful little villages and swimming spots along the way, we even had a pod of dolphins swim alongside us, was truly magical. Our skipper, Levi, was charming and fun, always the consummate professional with a calm approach. Lauren, our host, is a gorgeous girl, she looked after our 'crew' like we were her family, preparing us the best breakfasts and lunches each day. Together, her and Levi make an awesome team. We would love to sail with them again.

Catamarán of 8 people from Split to Dubrovnik June 2023. Couldn’t be happier with the trip. The host and skipper both amazing. Top notch food, excellent local guides, took us to all the great spots. Boat was perfect too. Would definitely come back again!!

The Cyclades certainly knew a boat load of Aussies came visiting, as we made sure "Down Under" was regularly blaring from our speakers!! We had the best time with skipper Daan and host Luiz on Wind Whisper, and Daan ensured we visited the best anchoring and swimming spots. We also enjoyed meeting up with the guests on other Yacht Getaways boats.

Clearly Yacht Getaways takes care and consideration of selecting their crew members …Levi and Lauren were outstanding in all aspects ensuring the most memorable experience was delivered. The natural beauty of the Ionian Sea and selection of swimming spots, overnight stays… even ensured a pod of dolphins swam alongside!!! Nolima was a beautiful catamaran with ample living space snd layout, we have made some forever friends from around the world… including our skipper Levi snd hostess Lauren. Already planning the next adventure, thankyou to all for a flawless escape.

Dal and Ellen were amazing and really made the trip worth it!

Dal and Ellen were the best crew ever. Dal did an excellent job giving us the best opportunities to sail, he had an incredible sense of humor and was very kind during the entire trip. Ellen was a fantastic host, making the best food for breakfast and lunch! Especially thankful for the care taken to make reservations for us in advance and their excellent food recommendations. Very highly recommend this trip and especially this crew.

Dal and Ellen were the best crew for our trip! We had the most lovely time and got to see so many islands and had the best recommendations on what to do/eat when we were on land. Our boat was so fun and we became the cutest little family by the end of the trip. I cannot recommend this company and these people enough. I wish I could charter every boat with Dal and Ellen for every trip for the rest of my life.

Our trip with Ellen and Dal was a last minute decision as a trip that we had organised with another company fell through. We became part of a caring family for a week with people from Britain, Canada and the USA. Everyone melded together and entered into the spirit of the cruise.
The glue that bound the group of course were Dal, the captain, and Ellen, we had a long discussion as to what her title should be I think in the end we decided on First Mate, however I maybe incorrect.
Dal is a great skipper with an in depth knowledge of the area and of course sailing.
Food was delicious, you could tell that Ellen’s mum is a chef.
We enjoyed trip immensely and would recommend it to everyone.

Ellen and Dal were great and took care of all our needs. The catamaran had plenty of room and we never felt crowded. The tour was amazing and the food outstanding. The evenings on the islands were fantastic.
