Not enough threads. DON'T BOTHER
After a year of work I ran out of thread in 8 colours and 4 of one colour. Numerous threads untouched so clearly miss counted in kit. Customer service disgraceful and was told it was my mistake even though I've never had this problem before in 30 years of doing them. Numerous other communication has been ignored. Had no chose but to buy the missing ones of them as not DMC or anchor. We'll see if they show. Also on website a whole section has appeared about running out of threads. Clearly this has happened alot.

Sorry you feel you had to leave this review. We have already issued you a 50% discount on the threads you have purchased and they have been dispatched already (you should have had a notification for both these events already). The information you say just appeared - this is not the case we've had this for a long while certainly prior to your order and it is also in the instructions that come with the kit. We consider traveling a thread more than 10 stitches underneath to be excessive and we do not support that. The majority of our customers have plenty of left over thread (there's usually over 50% added on to ensure sufficiency). That some threads have been left over and others not is a function of how much travelling has been done for those threads and not a miscount. I have double checked the threads that were sent to you and how they were calculated they are not short. The treads used are by Madeira and are sold by other vendors also however our price is quite competitive and we've also given you a 50% discount.

I have finally ordered my first cross stitch from them and considering the size of it is good value for money. Even though it is not cheap, when you consider the size of the thing and the amount of cross stitches - 90,000 then it is good value for money.
The package as a whole came well wrapped, very well organised. It also came with an instruction sheet which gave some handy tips and hints which my basic cross stitch didn't come with from another supplier.
Also, the speed of the delivery was fantastic even though we are in lock down.
This is my second cross stitch and I've already decided what my next one will be when I've finished.
Also to note, the accessories are amazing value for money when compared to other online places. As such, I ordered the accessories after I received my cross stitch.

I couldn't be happier with my cross stitch pattern.
I couldn't be happier with my cross stitch pattern. What I most appreciate is how well organized it is. The floss arrived already separated and well marked. That makes things so much easier and you can be assured that your work will be so much more accurate. I wouldn't hesitate to order another pattern from Viotas XStitch and would definitely recommend it to friends.
