Easy onboarding
Onboarding was very easy. A number of Teams meetings followed and the details laid out clearly enough for me to understand. I had a number of questions including some very leading ones which I was advised by others to ask, so I could get clear information I could then use for a balanced comparison. The questions were responded to clearly, and I opted to transfer my interests and trust in Yodelar's management. All transfers were open for me to view and took only a few weeks to complete. I now have online access to view fund performance whenever I choose. Too early to comment on fund performance, but happy with the process of transferring to Yodelar.

View of different portfolios under current market conditions
I can compare different portfolios wrt performance, gives a good view of the current market ups and downs as an example the environmental portfolio has been on the upturn.
So great tho get that information, not necessary to take any immediate action but been aware of the market.

Our performance reports are factual and completely unbiased with no influence from fund managers, or industry. 9 out of 10 investors are invested in poor performing funds that rank badly within their 'Investment Association' sector. More alarming however is that most DIY investors do not manage their asset allocation and risk management well, and both are as important as the other.

Why is the entry level so high
I really don’t understand why the entry level of investing with Yodelar is so high, £150,000? I wanted to invest less to see how they actually performed in practice before transferring more of my investments, a concept I think they don’t understand.

The reason we have a threshold in place is due the comprehensive regulated service we offer advice clients, and the costs we incur in doing so. Our charges are lower than 75% of the industry, as our goal is to grow our clients wealth as efficiently as possible. I moved my funds to Yodelar six months…
I moved my funds to Yodelar six months ago and every good thing said about the service and support is true, except that the value of my funds has declined significantly. If I moved again now I would be seriously out of pocket. Let's hope the service improves. Has anybody else had that experience?

After reviewing your specific case, we identified that you are currently invested in funds that continue to perform in the top 25% of their sector. This is the best scenario for a client investor.
Currently markets are very volatile, a proportion of our investors are invested in our higher risk portfolio's and will be experiencing more volatility than other clients invested in lower/ balanced risk portfolio's.
Clients that go through a detailed risk profile analysis with us and who are suitable to high risk should understand that investments can go down as well as up, and such activity will occur during market volatility. We understand that this is not ideal, and we hope that markets calm and re adjust soon.

Great value for Money
Having researched several financial and investment services, my wife and I decided to engage Yodelar to invest our underperforming ISAs.

Super service. I recently moved to Yodelar from Fishers. Fishers managed my pension for over 6 years, and did do well, but once signed I had to deal with an adviser in the U.S. which I never really liked. At yodelar I have a dedicated UK adviser, as well as a client manager who is lovely and a great help. Yodelar set me up with an account with Aviva and moved my funds from Fisher to Aviva. Fishers had one main fund really, but Yodelar have access to all funds, and their fees are reasonable. The only negative I would say about Yodelar is they have a minimum amount to invest, I tried to get my daughter to move her work pension but they were not able to take her as a client. The quarterly updates are very good, and show me how well my funds compare to other funds. My daughter has also been using these so that is helpful. I liked the initial review with no commitment on my part. Would highly recommend.
