My daughter enjoyed it and the female instructor she had was very encouraging. However it's not a full 30 minute session that you pay for, because by the time you get called up, walked upstairs to the car, and then it finished 5mins early, you have only really gotten 20mins driving time. So a little bit of a rip-off when you've paid so much money and also driven quite a way to even get to the location.

The staff were so helpful and made our daughter feel safe for her first time behind the wheel of a car. She enjoyed the experience so much she wants to do it again.

The overall experience my grandson has had at young drivers has even excellent . The instructors ate very friendly and helpful and has put him at ease while learning to drive and have given him so much confidence. I would fully recommend young drivers .

My Grandson enjoyed the lesson ......he felt that he had actually learned to drive,this was his second hour lesson .... he understood how to use the clutch, this experience really boosted his self esteem and he was so excited after the lesson .

Was a great day and cant believe how much actual driving he did in the 1/2hr slot as this was his first time driving and he really enjoyed the experience will definently book again as its soooo safe compared to our roads today

Fantastic staff, knowledgeable and explained to my son how and why things work the way they do in the car. This helped it click for him. Really friendly instructor, my son came away smiling, excited and enthusiastic. Well set up and safety in place. Easy to check in.
Only negative was the location says newark showground, but it was actually the next turning on the right, so perhaps an additional flag/sign pointing to next turning would have been more helpful.
Have booked twice now for my son and it has put him at ease for starting actual driving lessons at 17.
Highly recommended to all my friends!

Great gift for my son’s birthday. The only thing it’s gotten a little pricey other wise would be doing more

This was our first time with Young Driver; my 16 yr old daughter and I went to Bicester Heritage for a thirty-minute session. A very warm welcome followed by an introduction to the car and its controls and then she was off! The instructor was very relaxed but also most professional and encouraged my daughter to develop her skills behind the wheel (I know this as we ordered the in-car video package as well as the lesson - I was not in the car with her!) … in that thirty minutes, she learnt the basics of driving the car through the gears, reversing into a parking bay, 3-point turns, T-junctions and roundabouts.

At the end of the session I got a quick debrief from the instructor which was ‘as short as possible’, but ‘as long as was necessary’ followed by me booking a follow-up slot - but an hour this time. The law of unintended consequences also came into play as my daughter now wants a Suzuki Swift! That said, they are great cars ‘to be fair’ (as everyone seems to say these days!).

In sum, I would heartily recommend Young Drivers to anyone.

Also, although it’s not abundantly clear on the website, there is no upper age limit so if you or your ‘child’ is over 19 they will still taken them on.

My son loves the driving he has had lots of different instructors and cars which is good experience for him. The feed back I get is also very helpful as I am getting him road ready for when he turns 17 yrs

Not happy with the service payed for filming and received 13seconds of record for a 30min lesson wrote a email to explain this and have had no response

My daughter really enjoyed the hour lesson, it was great to watch her drive a car at 12!
