I recently had the pleasure of working with YUMM, and I must say that my experience was nothing short of exceptional. From start to finish, the team went above and beyond to show their commitment to professionalism.

Throughout the entire process, from the initial consultation to the final photo shoot, the team at YUMM was incredibly attentive and responsive.

Overall, I can't recommend YUMM enough. If you're looking for a modelling agency that is truly top-notch and an unwavering dedication to excellence, look no further than YUMM.

A year ago I went into YUMM, photos were taken (not great) training was offered along with the world basically! The one thing I will say Meni who was the person I dealt with was great. Professional friendly and patient. After a year of no jobs which I blame no one for I am now at the stage where the initial deposit should be refunded, I have emails confirming this would be done, two months on no deposit and no contact, trying to phone them and I receive a rude and quite aggressive response, the person even hung up the phone due to the fact I was pressing as to why I haven’t received any communication or my refund. Customer service is absolutely poor this side of the experience I have never had anyone hang up the phone on me for asking fair question. As it stands I still have not received my refund and I will be pressing ahead to ensure this happens.

I recommend YUMM! The photographer is helping if you are yet learning how to pose, and I think it is good agency if you are an aspiring model and looking for where to start with. Staff is accommodating and makes you feel comfortable throughout the photoshoot and the interview.

Saved my friend from this company today. She was approached by them to sign as a model and went in to meet them. They gave her a contract to sign there and then and would not allow her to take it away to read through and think about, thankfully she took some photos and sent them to me to check over for her as I am in Entertainment management myself.

They were asking for £700 up front as a 'refundable deposit' however they have a million reasons listed as to how they will not refund you, so if you book one single job with them they will take 20% of your fee (which is fair and standard) but then keep your £700 deposit. If you leave within 12 months then you also lose your deposit etc etc.

Their contract contradicts itself several times including stating that they are your sole representative but then in the next paragraph saying that you are welcome to find rep elsewhere as well as stipulating you MUST accept a certain number of jobs they find you or they will keep your 'deposit' but not stipulating what level those jobs will be financially or in terms of modelling levels.

They also repeat themselves several times in the contract which shows a lack of care or professionalism.

When my friend said that she wanted to go away and think about it before signing the man turned aggressive and rude towards her and changed his tune from 'you will receive these portfolio photos' to 'they will all be destroyed' when all she'd asked for was time to check over the contract.

NO Agency should ask for an up front fee. Please know this is a SCAM and ANY Agency asking for money up front is a SCAM. An Agency should ONLY take a percentage comission from the work you book or at most take a 'fee' for their services on top from your first pay cheque NOT from you up front.

Please be careful.

I had a great time with YUMM at my photo shoot. The photographer was really kind and respectful. She immediately made me feel at ease and welcome, was very receptive to my suggestions, and helped me through the process. The staff was quite professional and polite, and they answered all of my questions.

YUMM is a true building that does what they say they do. They took my photos and they sent them to me after a paid my deposit and they did. They said they would get me a booker and they have. Though I was very cautious at first, they answered all my questions. The photographer is amazing not a bad word to say about her.

Upon entering the studio I was treated with utmost care, all the staff that dealt with me were very polite. I enjoyed the experience very much. Being someone who is more of a novice, in regards to the fashion industry, I learnt quite a bit.
Personally for me the shoot was very fun. I feel like a got a good gist of what the fashion industry entails.

Do not believe the reviews you read! People have to write a good review in order to get the photos they had taken at the agency back, so technically a bribe. They are full of lies, you won’t get your deposit back and you will get no work or contact from this agency! Avoid!!!!

My experience at YUMM was great! As a new model with not a-lot of experience, the photographer was amazing, she was really helpful and it was a good experience overall. All the staff were lovely. Im very exited to carry on working with YUMM! -M Dudz

I would like to thank YUMM for my first professional photoshoot! From the very start I felt accommodated, I was greeted at the door and taken to the holding/waiting room. There was music playing (songs that everyone knows) that made me more comfortable, creating a more relaxed environment. There was a bit of a wait, which was to be expected; however, I had members of the agency come up from time to time and sincerely apologise to me for the wait, which I appreciated. The shoot itself was great! I had very little experience in front of the camera before that day but the photographer was so supportive, complimenting and encouraging me the whole shoot! It was so much fun and I genuinely appreciate the effort made to make the shoot a personalised experience.

Really good experience working with YUMM. All the staff were so polite and helpful and made me so comfortable for my shoot and interview. Would definitely recommend working with them and their team. Great environment and I look forward to more shoots!

I had a great experience at the YUMM studio from start to finish! I was kept updated throughout the process and the day and highly recommend the place to anyone making their first steps in the modelling industry. The catwalk experience was great and the photographer was amazing during my first shoot.

New models beware!! I have been modelling professionally for over 2 years and was approached to join this “agency”. I figured I may as well meet for the interview as they sounded professional over the phone and via email. On arrival it seemed professional and they had a process of test shoot and interview. All seemed normal until it got to the “interview” where I was asked obscure questions e.g. name 3 deceased celebrities - not musicians.(!?) The man interviewing me had clearly not been made aware of my previous experience either and spoke to me as though I was new to the industry. Despite the strange interview, they ended up offering me to sign with them which is when I knew this was 100% a scam.
I was offered different types of exposure ranging from £100-£1000 and the first rule of joining any agency is NEVER GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY! I am with a few agencies already and they provide test shoots and updates for my portfolio for free - as they should. On top of this YUMM takes a big cut of 20% of your earnings although I find it hard to believe that they would ever secure any jobs for you. They will try to get you to pay a deposit if you don’t want to pay the full sum then and there, but as I mentioned before, you should not have to part with any money to join an agency.
As soon as I was shown the options I explained I wasn’t comfortable with this and would like to go away to think about it. At this point the manager came in and told me it was a “now or never offer”. This is definitely a way to catch out naive and new models who do not need to part with their money to receive jobs. I am grateful I have experience to compare this to because if I had just been starting out I most likely would have fallen for it. Avoid.
