I play their game Elder Scrolls Online - terrific game works well - they seem to have listened to complaints about maintenance on Mondays and moved it to Tuesdays.

I wanted to

I wanted to log into my "The elder scrolls online" account. But because i'm on a new computer, they send me a confirmation code to my email, because i'm on a new computer. Same IP though. Unfortunetly, some time between when I stopped playing the game, and now. The domain for my email changed. So I can't access that confirmation code. They can help me, if I can answer 3 questions. One which is
"What date did you create your account".
They expect me to remember something like that after about 8½ years ago! Or have kept the email for that long....

I used to like this company

I used to like this company, but then Crown Crates happened, and it's a gambling mess. 12-hour maintenances that don't fix anything as well. They seem more eager to please their investors, than they are to keep their playerbase on Elder Scrolls Online. The game is an absolute laggy mess, with eternal loading pages, that they've said they fix, but they never do, even with all that money made from those crown crates!

A friend of mine got a 72 Hour ban because he told someone from russia to speak in english ( no offend about russian people). What is with that company? Is there no meaning of ask poletly if someone can speak english if you dont understand them. Maybe they learn about that mistake but I am not sure about that

This company's continued disrespect for…

This company's continued disrespect for players that live in more developed countries is appalling. They sell the exact same services and even the game itself can be purchased for less in what they think are LDC's or 3rd World countries. This wouldn't be such a big deal EXCEPT for the fact these players can buy them and turn around and sell them for LESS than the company's prices so they are facilitating real world trading where players in these LDC's or 3rd World countries can make money off of players in countries like the US, Canada, etc. We can buy crowns and resell for in game gold but it is not possible to compete with players that are buying the exact same thing for a cheaper price and then turning around and selling it cheaper than the company. The company is aware of this situation and even closed the Crown trading for a while. They have the ability to make it where these cheaper products can not be resold but refuse to do so.

you get nothing for your money

I purchased and downloaded the eso installer, and the installation already bugged. I opened a ticket, first to the tech support, no answer, then to the customer support in order to get a refund. I worked the whole day to get this installation (not the game, just the installation!!!) running, and that in my leisure time and i do not even work for them. I know, they cannot refund time, but i definatly want my money back!!!

stay away from ESO and ZOS it's disastrus

The word Customer service is Unknown to them.
The way you get treated is ludricus.
I think when players units you could even start a law suit. That bad is it.
Then the game, when it works OK it's a nice game. But that happens maybe half the time. Issues and bugs all over the place and then to think it's 10 years old so should be ironed out. But no.
Some things are still there since I started playing 2 years ago.
And every update or new function they introduce lead to more issues, downtime and more bugs.
Compensation? They don't know that word either.
The drain your wallet with that crown store, which us getting worse and worse.
I stopped playing with eso+ subscription cause I don't want to give them even more money. 1000 euro's in 1,5 years for all dlc and housing, mounts, costumes etc. Is already more then I paid for the Total if games I played in my life (48).
And nothing is earnable in game.
You pay for literally everything you can do.

Worst customer support service

They always make excuses and constantly lie to people so as not to take responsibility for their own mistakes, they rarely solve a technical problem if you ask for it. As far as social is concerned, they have threatened me 2 times so far with suspending my account for stupid and abusive reasons (but they have never really dared to cancel me). Their staff is incompetent and irresponsible and they will always find a way to blame the customer, instead of taking responsibility and looking for solutions.

In a nutshell

it's like being in a toxic, abusive relationship where your mutual pet is held ransom so you can't leave.

Worst Customer Support Experience EVER

Support blatantly lied to me about my experience. The support are racist and will sit on the phone gaslighting you about what happened and you can't say anything back because they will just ban your account and at the beginning of the call tried to hold that over my head. Very rude, controlling, and egotistical customer support representatives, after months of trying to get in contact with them.

All about greed

All about greed. Nothing else. Delete ebay listings for tshirts with their product on it because it "breeches their rights" even though it was their own licensed merch, just priced cheaper. GREED. GREED. GREED.

Charged £105 for an account that was cancelled according to their website.

I was an active player for about 3 years, I recently quit the game due to real life issues. I logged into my elder scrolls online account on the website for the first time in about 6 months a couple weeks ago to make sure my membership was not still active, in which it specifically said I had no memberships active, but I have been charged £105 for a yearly subscription? I can’t afford to be losing £105 for something I didn’t know was still active, not on my own part. I am now being told by both ESO and PlayStation there’s no way I can be refunded? I was an active member of the community and loved the game while I did, it’s nice to know the people behind it don’t really care about loyalty and respect but more about the money they are taking in from their customer base. I am appalled.

This has happened loads of times and complaints fall on deaf ears. Come on Zenimax separate your NA maintenance from UK or change day to a Tuesday when nearly all of us are out working.

Horrific costumer support,

Horrific costumer support,

I bought a game directly from them, they sent me the wrong code with which I could NOT activate the game. After a week I have heard nothing from them. At this point I can safely say they stole my money.
