I've been dealing with Shenzhen ZLPOWER Electronics Co. for nearly 10 years now. It's always been trouble with them.

Various problems :

1- 10 year ago, they claim they were manufacturing Split-Phase North American standard (120V/240V). I purchase a 4000 W (so call slit-phase but it turn out to be a Dual phase European Standard that is unusable in America (FYI: I'm en an electrical Engineer). They never wanted to replace it. They stubbornly stick to their opinion that it was American standard... :-(

2- Order incomplete. Last year I order a few dozen inverters and some accessories. Some of the accessories was not in the boxes. They were suppose to ship them back to me but never did.

3- The major problems with them is honoring warranties. I've been waiting for parts for more than a year now, still wait. Although Phylis always promises to send me the shipping invoice, she never does.

It's a company with no support to clientele & who's main objective is sale sale sale. Genuine "Capitalist" with no customers' respect.

We are a company dealing in Solar equipment for the past 8 years. We have worked with ZL-power on multiple occasions, but due to quality deficiencies of their products have stopped cooperating. Overall, we have witnessed a failure rate >20% across all products, which is totally inacceptable. They get an extra star for at least some basic effort to solve these problems, i.e. sending spareparts - sometimes for free, sometimes for payment) and with this support, we get most systems running at least for a couple of years. so they are not an outright scam - they just work at the lowest level of quality control and are simply not reliable. not recommended for cooperation.

we buy this company product. the product fails.
we contact the company to provide us with spares.
we send a sample of the spares required.
the supplier (winnie) Viola Liu sends us a different PC board without informing us of the changes of there new board.
we pay $ 680 for the items to arrive.
we further pay $ 200 for customs clearance.
when we check the items , we find a different supply.
since we bought it through Alibaba.com, we made contact with alibaba, we requested that the supplier cover the cost to either take the boards back at there cost or cover the cost to have the PC boards accessories changed here in South Africa.

both the supplier and alibaba refuses to provide us with assistance.
the supplier says, we sending parts. you mus fit it yourself.

Please note for this claim seller can resend some accessories same as old product, you can replace the accessories for the latest version, thank you.

the warranty works like this:

you get one year warranty, in this year should anything go wrong with the product, we will send you the item but you will pay full price and shipping cost.

the PC Boards failed, it cost $ 55 for one PCB.
DHL cost another $30 per board.

after spending over $ 6000 at this company . we would never touch them again.
we noticed that all Chinese companies have this short sight,

"we can send you parts on your next order, we can give you discount on your next order, but we will NEVER GIVE YOU REFUND.

Alibaba,com suppose to be your Paypal, but this company is runned by WHOM? that is the reason why they cover for the supplier.
