Very poor standard of door locks/latches, numerous problems with up to 5 doors and counting over a 3 year period.

I have to say as a working Locksmith whose business is growing exponentially year on year, we have been trading four years and we have done better this year than we have in the last three and it continues even faster.
I wanted to say that Zoo hardware is becoming one of my number one go to companies for all things for keys, Cylinders, mortice locks both with the chunky style key as well as the euros cylinder option.
I find myself purchasing more and more of their products and returning to them all of the time because although I have a couple of lock suppliers who are absolutely exceptional I am finding Zoo a diamond in the rough with a variety their quality their availability their delivery and their customer service are all absolutely exceptional and in a culture where reviews means so much to everybody and seem to be the first thing that everybody check I felt it was important to say thank you to Zoo hardware all parts of your company your products and your customer service are exceptional and you are very much a diamond in the rough who I'm using you more and more and you are supporting my business enormously and I wanted to thank you formally and publicly. 
I do have to say that I do find the use of WhatsApp with your company exceptional and very very helpful indeed the only bump in the road I would say as I've had to email you this morning is your website is quite tricky to navigate and I have been locked out of my own account for no reason, but beyond that you still deserve a five star review and I am very happy to publicise you to everyone within the Locksmith community. 

Handles for life!
The springs went in a handle we had fitted 10 years ago and the amazing Tracy sent me out a pack of spares in the next post. All the handles in our house are the same but they've been discontinued. Fitting with a pair of circlip pliers and a YouTube video was easy. Couldn't have asked for better customer service and I'm now confident the handles are going to outlast me!

I cannot convey the utter frustration I have experienced trying to find a replacement lock for one of Zoo's locks already installed on thier hopeless website.

How on earth do they expect a customer to find a matching lock (one that is a *direct* replacement and thus would be a 10 minute job Vs one that requires the door to be modified which might make it an hour long job or more) WHEN THEY DO NOT PUBLISH ***FULLY*** DIMENSIONED DRAWINGS FOR THEIR LOCKS!!! (*in*cluding mounting holes).

They don’t even break down their lock categories meaning one has to trawl though page after page of completely irrelevant items, FCOL. Even their search function is utterly useless - eg a search for something as utterly basic as "5 lever” produces NO RESULTS!!

I’m giving up and buying a different brand!!! Suggest everyone else does too!

Just called to enquire about replacing a faulty product. Refused to honour their apparent 10 year warranty. Guy on phone made it almost impossible to deal with. I finished call feeling due to their extremely poor customer service and unhelpful nature for a manufacturer replacement will now remove Zoo from our suppliers list and never allow my construction company to purchase any Zoo products again. Feel so let down

I purchased a 5 lever recess and am very impressed with the product for the money i paid. As another reviewer mentioned, the lack of a template is an oversight Zoo should address, but that in no way detracts from the product itself.
I am pleased with the quality of the product and on the basis of this, i have no hesitation in recommending Zoo products.

Highly recommend Zoo Hardware and the products they sell. Top spec and a fantastic range of different finishes. I was able to buy all matching Rosso hinges, latches and bathroom accessories from one place at Handles4homes, which saved time and money buying from one source. My carpenter was so impressed with the quality of these products!!

Bought x10 Zoo door latches (the part that keeps the door shut) for a house renovation. 3 years later and three have failed and have had to be replaced. They look really high quality but that failure rate is not acceptable. On one of them the metal part the bar goes through broke because the metal was too thin on one side. The other two just became too stiff to turn because something inside had broke.

If you buy zoo door handles be aware children or adults with wet or greasy handles won’t be able to turn the knobs. They are very stiff. It’s a pity there’s no facility to weaken the springs.

This Company design high quality Architectural Hardware. I have bought a number of stainless steel door handles which have arrived and are nicely designed. The problem is there are no fitting instruction. Its not a major problem as I can figure it out, but still it’s such a basic oversight. I am in the trade and having good well layer out fitting instructions with good drilling templates etc makes the difference between a job taking 30 mins and 3hrs. Zoo need to realise the time to fit their stuff is far more expensive than the hardware - therefore giving instructions to make it as easy as possible fit is key to have trade customers recommendations. It’s also just basic - how could so called designer not recognise that - must we the cold air in the Lake District.
