Be Very Careful With This One

Note 1: A followed subscription link on wynncredit.com takes you to a Credit Collective Community page created through skool.com, where you can purchase a subscription for the purposes of them helping you fix, build and leverage credit.

-conversation-

“ME: …I've had no problem confirming my identity through the three reporting agencies without submitting a single document. If SmartCredit is unable to do the same, and is demanding I send them documentation, that sends up red flags for me. I don't know whether you have the necessary pull to put this issue to bed or not, but if that's impossible, I would like to request a refund…

NAAM WYNN: Hey Micheal, thanks for reaching out. No I don't have any pull of smart credit. Since they are a different company. If you want a refund with them, you would have to contact them directly.

ME: Hi Naam, who did I pay the $47 to?

NAAM WYNN: Thats for the skool community. I thought you were referring to SmartCredit.

ME: My apologies for the confusion. I'm assuming since I'm unable to move forward with SmartCredit, this would have a major impact on the process of me improving my credit rating through skool. The aforementioned is the basis of why I'm requesting a refund.

NAAM WYNN: I understand. Please note that SmartCredit is entirely optional and is not a requirement for participating in this community. I’ve provided all the steps and resources necessary to help you address your credit, whether you’re focusing on repair or funding. If you would like to proceed with canceling your account, I am happy to assist. Due to the nature of digital information, I’m unable to provide a refund. Thanks for understanding.

ME: Due to the nature of what digital information? If you are referring to the classroom information, you will see by the 0% in each section I have not accessed any of it. As for repairing my credit, do you not rely on a credit report to provide the guidance to offer? Clearly you have a refund policy if my credit doesn't increase within a certain amount of time. Since I am unable to move forward with your offer of SmartCredit, that is part of your package program of increasing my credit, I am one more time requesting a refund.

NAAM WYNN: Michael, our program is fully DIY, and the credit audit is just a guide—it’s not mandatory. SmartCredit is optional and isn’t required to improve your credit. Our refund policy covers those who complete the coursework but don’t see results. Since you haven’t accessed the material, the policy doesn’t apply here. If you change your mind or need help navigating the course, let me know.

ME: Cancel the account…”

**Contradiction to MR. WYNNS reason for not refunding the $47 is as follows: On the home page, there's a distinct link on the right side specifically stating to "START HERE"… where it says, "We help you fix, build and leverage credit". Clicking the "START HERE" link takes you to a Custom Credit form requesting member info and authorization for their firm to do a Custom Credit Audit. The info requested is name, email, goals, and authorization signature. This gives consent to use my data to complete the audit and credit review process.

The second follow-up form stresses the need for a SmartCredit monitoring account that INTEGRATES with their software. It states, “credit monitoring is essential for funding or credit repair since it’s the only way to see real time changes to your reports and score directly from all 3 bureaus.” Once the need has been acknowledged by clicking the link, you’re taken to a third form where you sign up for SmartCredit or provide existing login info. Again, so they can “analyze your credit report data and create a personalized plan for you.”

The purpose of me joining is outlined in the aforementioned. Not being able to move forward with SmartCredit to receive the audit I paid for seems like a good reason to do a refund.

BBB report incoming.
