I used this tutoring site for assistance needed for my high school student a few times. No problems. Then I received an alert that a tutoring session was completed on my profile. This was an unauthorized transaction. Not a request from us.
Seems some random tutor prepared a false session, billed me for it and Wyzant stated to contact the theif of a tutor for a refund.
Only...their site will not allow me to message him. Seems they allow tutors to commit fraud and block you.
I'm very disappointed that they allow such fraud and the victim has to resolve.
Way to go Wyzant or WyzAINT it.
Use another site. Don't put yourself at risk here.

They do not care about their tutors and will delete your profile whenever they see fit, without reason or cause. I had a 5 star rating that I acquired after 3 years of tutoring on their site- and one day they just decided to delete it. It is an unreliable source of income, and when you receive income- they take a huge percentage of it- more than any other tutoring site (heytutor, tutors.com). Their customer representatives, Nichole and Darrien, were useless and unhelpful. There are many other better tutoring sites that are more respectful for their tutors and way more reliable!

The App is easy to use and I find my messages with ease from my tutor. I am very happy with Wyzant. Wish that I could have found it sooner, especially during the Summer months. My tutor is patient, and doesn’t rush me, we go over each step until I feel comfortable. I am sharing this site with anyone that will listen to me. Thanks Wyzant!

As always my daughter is happy with Karen. She tells me how many new skills she has learned. She is ready to use her skills not only for the HSPT exam but also in her tests at school.

I have nothing but good words to say. The tutors are extremely helpful and patient. I am the student who will complete a assignment but ask the tutor for help reviewing. I am continuously impressed with their professionalism and patience as they teach me new materials.

My son’s teacher is very knowledgeable and knows exactly how to get the student engaged. Her teaching method is great and she is always asked for feedback and she provides lot of resources to explore before class. She’s a wonderful tutor. I‘m glad to find her.

I found the best tutor on wyzant. They don't charge any upfront fees and the tutors are very qualified. I'm glad I chose Wyzant for my son's special needs.

Wyzant was a very useful app that helped my pass my nursing boards. I was able to find a tutor that was amazing and helped me through the entire way till the day off my test. The only thing is the video chat on the actual app was very bad quality and we had to use a different source for video chatting while still on the Wyzant app to track the time. Otherwise it was an amazing resource!

My son loves Wyzant. He can find tutors for all his classes. System is friendly and easy to use!

I am so glad I found Wyzant to find a reading tutor for my 8 year old. I really struggled to find a tutor here in California for some reason but with everyone only doing remote lessons, I opened up my search to online tutors which led me to Wyzant. It makes no difference that the tutors are in NY or MA and we are in CA! I was impressed with the tutors on Wyzant with their qualifications, training, and extensive experience. I contacted four tutors, who were all very responsive. I had long, detailed conversations with three. I am very happy with the tutor that we chose: she is very easy to work with and very responsive, detailed, has a very focused strategy for my daughter and keeps her on task, and I think they are making great progress in only a few sessions!

The tutors at Wyzant are wonderful. I enjoy each and every class that I take, I'd like to thank my tutor for being so exceptional. There is one problem with the system though; whenever we reach around the end of the class, (evening time) the meeting becomes very unstable and glitchy. I would not say that this is a four star platform because of its talented tutors, but if I could, I would rate this 4.6 stars.

An excellent source to find a tutor! You can choose whoever you want contrary to many other websites where you are assigned to a tutor. The website tracks the hours and the cost of the lessons as well it records the lessons. My number one choice to find and work with a tutor!

I wanted to improve my public speaking skills and took 4-5 diction lessons. I looked for people who had experience in this field and found an excellent tutor.
The experience was great in every sense.
