It's a scam. I just saw a 2 minute youtube ad saying that's cheap because they don't spend a penny on advertising and rely solely on word-of-mouth. As in the whole "Authur Bell" story wasn't already d... See more

Non responsive drone

Non responsive drone.
I have emailed the company to which I bought it from and haven’t received any response.

Drone failed to respond on all levels. It took off via the jyufo app (launch key) and it never responded to landing key or emergency stop...it just flew away on its own.

PLEASE DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY!

Very very disappointed !

Don't bee fooled by the storey . Bad business

I saw video clip of the guy getting sacked and now making his own drone and got fooled by it and immediately ordered 2 for £100 + HD camera at £18 , total should have been £118.00 , but saved by my MBNA Visa , who refused to pay them as the amount they tried to charge to my Visa was £184.00 . Avoid this company .

Scam

Scam , Don't buy it. They took my payment but never sent it. No #'s to call. There was a email address but it was no help. Just thanked me for my patience and said it was coming from overseas. 3 months ? C'mon , really ? Unfortunately , I read the reviews after I made the purchase. I should have read them first.

This drone should be avoided.

This drone should be avoided at all costs. Yes it’s cheap, yes the camera is excellent but unless you are completely drone savi for novices it’s a nightmare. The instructions are minuscule that small you will have difficulty reading even with glasses, the pictorials showing what buttons to press are almost bordering on blurred. I’m ok with technology equipment but this well to put it bluntly has gone in the bin.

WORST MISTAKE EVER

WORST MISTAKE EVER. DON'T BUY
I got drone delivered without battery pack. Took photos and sent to MaxDeals. Have done this three times. It's been three months, no battery pack. I've been robbed. These people are thieves and need to be investigated. No luck yet with refund either. DONT BUY. Product looks pretty crappy, even if I haven't been able to operate it.

This thing is garbage

This thing is garbage. The video is compelling but don't be fooled. They make it sound like some 'expert' drone designer got fired because he wants high quality drones to be accessible to everyone - except they never even bothered to produce a real manual for the XDrone HD. The manual that comes with it might as well be written in Chinese because the english is poor and the instructions are confusing. Maiden voyage for us - drone would not respond to the controller, flew into some netting and broke. I don't know what we could have done different, we followed the instructions the best we could. Don't waste your money.

Scam! I bought this, it arrived quick enough but can't connect with WiFi. No matter what I try it's won't show the hot spot WiFi network.

I watched their video on facebook about…

I watched their video on facebook about the guy who was sacked from his job and spent 5 years developing this supposed "High End" quality drone. So no income for 5 years??? I checked out their website but no specifications on the drone. Battery type/size/volts/amps, camera just described as "HD" no 720/1080p resolution details, no mention of spare parts but lots or marketing hype. All very suspicious if you know anything about drones as a hobby. So checked out this website and its clearly a piece of cr*p. The market leaders are just that for a reason and do offer full spec details, spare parts etc. If in the UK check out the BMFA website for details on local flying clubs where you can pop in and ask advice based on what you want your drone to do and price you can afford. Hope this helps.

Is there a zero star button?

TL;DR
Don't waste your hard earned cash on this drone, and consider drones from known brands including Parrot or DJI. For this price range, you can easily buy a Parrot Bebop (or even a DJI tello) which is a MONUMENTAL upgrade from this rubbish Mavic clone.

All the ads depict that its high end drone for a killer price, yet its a complete dropship from a chinese company called Eachine. The E58 model (the one they're dropshipping) is around $50 CA (around $35 USD) and can be bought from banggood or other online shops. The DroneXpro (or Xdronehd) is $150 CA, and is a RUBBISH drone for the money. Don't expect any form of 'quality' from this drone because it looks like the footage from a 2000 era camera and all the parts are entry-level quality.

Just don't even think about buying these ripoffs, your wallet will curse you.

AVOID!!!

AVOID!!!
Would give no stars if it was an option - total rip-off. My dad bought one for my son and didn't check reviews first unfortunately.
We're lucky that it does actually fly but it has not got the features advertised: no pairing with smart phone, no tracking. Comes in plain generic packaging and the translations in the instructions are laughable, even unreadable at times. The drone doesn't even look like the one on the website.
We'll use it for flying practice for as long as it works, and we'll remember to check reviews next time. Such a disappointment.

piece of Rubbish

i would give it no stars, these people who sale this crapdrone ought to be taken to court, for misadvertising, this drone is worth no more than a tenner, the app is crap the drone, well if it cost £10 and you needed a toy drone and it is a toy drone,i use it for practice and crashing, because if you can master this peace of crapyou can fly anything, the slightest bit of wind and it crashes out of control,i wish i had read these reviews before i bought, its firms like this that installed mistrust in people, well done i will never use this firm again and advise no one a else to either.and youtube your bad for letting this go on.

It’s just a Scam.

It’s just a Scam.

First, the advert tries to tell you an emotive story about a electronics/drone engineer who got fired because the evil corp in which he used to work was really really evil and used cheap plastic and cheap components (remember this part) and sold drones at very high prices. Then he decided to reunite the A-team of the drone engineering world and developed a drone that uses materials only available for SpaceX and is really cheap.... The name of our hero? Well... it depends... if your language is English, he’s called Arthur Bell (The catchphrase should be “Drones that fly Coast to Coast”), buuuut if the ad is in Spanish, then the guy is Called Oscar Serra Martin, and I suppose this guy has a name in every human and Klingon language.

The video itself reveals a lot, it uses a lot of footage ripped directly from commercials from high end drone manufacturers, there’s even a scene of a battery being placed in which you can see clearly “DJI MAVIC”.

The final product it’s just a pile of junk, a really low end drone with even lower quality standards. No trace of that space era materials...
