Not recommended — slow phone and bad return experience”

“The Redmi mobile I bought is extremely slow — even basic apps take time to open. When I asked to return it within the allowed period, 2 days the store staff were unprofessional and discourteous. Very poor experience. I do not recommend buying Redmi phones in the UAE.”

I feel deeply betrayed by Xiaomi and its after-sales service.

After charging my phone Redmi Note 12 Pro with an adapter, the phone suddenly stopped working. As it is still covered by the two-year warranty, I sent it for repair to the DIL Repair Center in Luxembourg.

My repair request was refused on the grounds that the phone is slightly bent and that there is a bend on the rear glass protection, which is purely cosmetic and does not affect the phone’s functionality in any way. This decision was made solely based on photographs, without any proper technical inspection, which I find extremely unprofessional.

I use my phone every day, as any normal user does. How is it acceptable that a phone designed for daily use can bend under normal conditions? And why does Xiaomi use glass on the back of the phone if it is only decorative and apparently so fragile that it voids the warranty?

As a result, I am now forced to either pay 453 € for the repair or 46 € simply to get my unrepaired phone back. This situation is unacceptable.

I feel completely and utterly betrayed as a customer. I expected better quality, durability, and customer support from Xiaomi.

I bought a redmi pad 2 tablet. It came with aquick start guide and not user manual.
User manual is not available on their website either. A manual is available on a third party site, but you can only open one page at a time.
When I rang Xiomi, it is of no use.

GetApps with constant feed of junk applications recomendations is killing it. It can't be suspended, so mobile users would be hassled nights and days till buying a new phone..

Do not buy Xiaomi products in EU. They do not provide any support even for premium priced phones.

I bought a new xiaomi phone and it was exactly what I wanted

I purchased a phone that was scheduled to be delivered on Monday, 14/01/2026. Instead of receiving the delivery, I received a message from DPD stating that the phone had been held.

Since then, I have been unable to speak to anyone at DPD to understand the reason for this issue or when the delivery will be completed. I also attempted to contact customer service by email, but their inbox is full and my email could not be delivered.

At this point, I have no information and no way to resolve the situation, and I am still waiting for my phone. This has been extremely frustrating, especially as I paid for a service that has not been fulfilled.

I would appreciate your urgent assistance in clarifying the situation with DPD and confirming when I will receive my phone.

Redmi Note 14 5G complete photo loss without warning.

All photos stored in DCIM/Camera disappeared suddenly.
No manual deletion, no cloud sync, no alert, no recovery possible.

System cleanup + encrypted storage makes data permanently unrecoverable.
No logs, no explanation, no transparency.

This should never happen on a smartphone.

Terrible, products and even worst customer service. Products do not last sufficient amount of time, some products are not compatible with each other like some monitors and sound bars for monitors. Had lots of problems with the items. Customer service people will ignore your issues. Warranty period is just idiotic.

I live in Italy, My order has been delayed since December 24, i wrote an Email to customer service and instead of get help, the support agent respond to me that i should write in Italian rather than solving my issue. When I explained that I do not speak Italian and used English, I received response from him saying that I am dealing with Xiaomi Italy so you should write in Italian even he hasn't handed to solve my issue . This is unprofessional behavior for an international company. Customer support should focus on solutions, not language arguments.

Xiaomi delivers fantastic hardware for the price, with phones offering premium features at a fraction of the cost. Performance is smooth and battery life is solid.

The major downside is the unreliable support. Warranty claims are often dismissed for questionable reasons like "liquid damage," and getting real help is a frustrating process.

You get a top-tier phone for your money, but with virtually no safety net. It's a great value if you never need support, but a risky purchase otherwise.

We bhought robot Vacuum X20+ EU a year ago, now it's stoped working, we sent to them for repair, but they told Robot is unrepaired because the defect is due to moisture/liquid damage (we cleaned and cared for robot). They state that this is not covered by the manufacturer's warranty and that the repair costs would be uneconomical, therefore we need to buy new one (they sent discount). So never will ever we buy from this company anything , knowing it's quality and quality or warranty now.

My Mi monitor started acting up so took it to the service centre to get it fixed. This is when I discovered they don't fix things, only replace thing. Eg throw your 32 inch monitor onto a landfill. Disgusting, it appears Xiaomi aka Mi don't care about the planet we live on, recycling , customer service or making sustainable products. I will never buy from these shysters again, do not believe their public persona.

Product as described, however Xiaomi misleads and deceives you by offering and market price as trade in, then even though the product was as described perfectly, they reduce the trade in price by 35%..or offer return, knowing very well most people will not bother and just take the lower price, very very naughty, Not trade in...

Two weeks im waiting for delivery

xiaomi produces phones with great hardware / specs for an affordable price and it has wayy better choices for phones in the same price range compared to competitors.
though the boltware is there but it doesnt cause any problem as we can easily work without using it though it is a problem so i gave 4 star instead of 5

I have experience with cell phone:
-Bloatware
-apps you cannot delete
-Cant connect to windows with cable (upload music.. etc)
-sometimes it freeze (not big issue)

it is reason why it is chepper

The phone is good but batteries dies quickly while playing games.

Absolutely awful customer service. The delivery company used by Xiaomi lost my phone, and Xiaomi has been “investigating” for over three weeks with no results. No apology, no replacement device, and no refund. This goes completely against consumer rights in the UK.

They keep promising a call from a manager, but nobody ever gets back to me. Every promise they make is broken. The whole experience has been stressful and incredibly unprofessional.

If you don’t want to waste your time, money, and nerves — stay far away from this company.
Xiaomi / Poco literally made my phone disappear. AVOID AVOID AVOID!

The Note 14 Pro gallery is the worst abomination I had the displeasure of dealing with. Not only does it have half my albums in a useless "Other albums" folder making me go through 56643 hoops to find the folder I want, but there's no way to turn this feature off and trying to move the folders by connecting the phone to my laptop is hopeless because after a few tries it began simply refusing to move or even rename anything. Never buying a Xiaomi phone again. That's not even getting into the abysmal battery life.
