Terrible company
Terrible company. A scam. Auto renews, doesn't respond to communications.
Do not trust this company
Do not trust this company. Extremely shady as everyone else has said. They make it impossible to cancel the membership. They had a poor service that is useless and terrible customer service.
WARNING TOTAL SCAM!!!
TOTAL SCAM. On anniversaries, they steal money to renew the subscription. They increased the value of the fee and did not notify me of either the increase or the payment date. First, they stole money from the account, and 8 hours later, they sent an invoice so that the payment could not be blocked. They do not want to return your money to you.
TOTAL SCAM
TOTAL SCAM
renewed my subscription for £99 without giving any notice. Contacted customer support and they won't renew. Total scam of a business model. The Xing premium platform is also totally rubbish and 1000000% worse than LinkedIn Premium. Please never buy a Xing subscription. The customer service team are also extremely rude and unhelpful.
Scammers
These people are in the business to rip you off. Avoid at all costs.
I cancelled my free trial with plenty of time because I didn't see the benefit. What I didn't know is that when you sign up to the Business Trial, they also sign you up to Premium and although you sign up to one trial, you have to cancel both separately. They then slapped me with 130 Euro bill even though I hadn't used the service and didn't want it.
I never write reviews, but I had to share so people will think twice when considering a Xing account - they are thieves
Xing is a real bad reputation for Germany
Automatic billing is a real horrible system and they call it legal, without reminders, without warnings, Xing charged my credit card 120€ for renewing my premium membership that I already forgot about a year ago (completely no benefits specially in the COVID period) ... and a refund is not an option.
I can't call them thieves, it is written in their agreement terms that I read a year ago and agreed on it, but still I got robbed in 120€ for a service I no longer want, and was paid in advance!
They should update their agreement terms and protect their members instead of charging them automatically .. they should be obligated to send reminders before they automatically charge anybody and give the choice to the member whether he wants to extend a service or to stop.
SCAM.. worst business site on the web
I signed up for a trial account with XING after losing my job in 2020. I thought it would be smart to network with other business professionals and look for jobs on their site. After 4 weeks I’ve concluded that was the ***worst*** possible decision I’ve made professionally in 2021. Here’s why: 1) I received 0 new connection requests from users. 2) I was spammed regularly by fake accounts and bad actors. 3) The customer service department is unhelpful, to say the least. Finally, after my experience, I thought it would be smart to permanently ***delete*** my Account. Their response? “Please submit a support ticket.” I literally could not delete my Account or information. I ***strongly*** recommend that any business or individuals stay away from XING.
Very very Bad website
Very very Bad website, awful custumer service, Have been robbed during 2 years by their team whereas I let them know my will to stop my Premium subscription. Despite my emails and calls they never replied. I have recently received a Warning letter asking for a subscription fee before retaliation ! Cannot believe it. These Chaps are a pure shame. So my advise would be to be very careful with them, keep your records and try to avoid them if possible
Total scam
Total scam, they don´t notify you when your subscription will end and they will charge you.
Delictive mindset.
Worst service ever! SCAM
Worst service ever! Literally a SCAM being run to collect money (from especially students), it sends thousands of notifications as updates but not even a single email about subscription reminder. Atleast once the 1st term of subscription is over, the amount of 3,95€ could be collected monthly basis instead of one time yearly payment of 47€.
Disgraceful business mindset.
Despite of such worst ratings, the platform is gaining so much of popularity day by day. Increasing sales and employees' count.
They FORCE you to pay for the FUTURE…
They FORCE you to pay for the FUTURE that you will never use. Same as others who landed here I can start with the same: I wish I would have read this before joining Xing Premium. And the same as others, I am now forced to pay them for the next year. I repeat that. I am finding myself now forced to stay in a relationship that I don't want to be in. And that for another year. This is outrageous. Unethical and simply WRONG. To encounter a business that keeps up float by feeding the bottom line with frustrated customers is a sure receipt for a short life. This kind of business should be called out and such practices should be regulated. It's not only bad for clients but also for ethical businesses that offer subscriptions but that do have a customer-centric approach and do not force you to stay in a future relationship if you no longer find it serves you.
Xing Premium Membership is Scam
Xing Premium Membership is Scam
NEVER, NEVER SUBSCRIBE TO XING PREMIUM.
Subscription renewal is robbery, automatically renewed without any reminder.
Please, be careful with Premium options, as they charged you a lot and more than your first subscription, and you need to unsubscribe 3 weeks in advance while other transparent and legal platforms allow you to unsubscribe one day before and sent notification to alarm you. Be careful, please!
Avoid using Xing, no benefit whatsoever !!!

If there was a no stars rating
If there was a no stars rating, I'd give Xing that. Xing's customer service is appalling, they will auto-renew your account and threaten legal action if you don't pay. It's not a scam but it almost could be. Smart lawyers mean their business is on the right side of the law but ethically questionable. If you're used to the US, customer centric way of doing business you're in for a surprise. Do not expect an ounce of empathy from anyone working at Xing. Their sales people will stuff you and then squeeze as much cash as they possibly can from you.
In today's world of ESG and greater governance Xing feels like a dinosaur waiting to go extinct. In fact I'd feel glad if that happened.
Do not support this company. Vote with your cash and buy other products. Stepstone and Linkedin are far better on all fronts. Do not use Xing.
Customer service is THE BEST
Customer service is THE BEST. I have sent them an e-mail and after like 2 min. my problem was solved.
SCAM
SCAM premium service.
I paid for the premium, then done with it so I deactivated my account. Four months later, I get a letter from debitor.de claiming that I should pay 120 EUR for them as a collection fee for a service of 30 EUR that I didn't ask or use.
I contacted the customer_care at xing.com, and I was told to pay it anyway and that no one will ever respond further about this.
"we ask for your understanding that we will not answer any further messages in relation to this collection claim."
Bad customer service
Bad customer service. Please, be careful with Premium options, as they charged you a lot, and you need to unsubscribe 3 weeks in advance while other transparent platforms allow you to unsubscribe one day before, and everything is fine. Be careful, please!
Definitely shady subscription…
Definitely shady subscription practices, I would not recommend and don’t accept their trials, they are there to scam you. Also no value for their premium whatsoever, they should just reimburse you for that, but I am sure they can’t generate revenue without using their subscription model: let’s hope they forget! Of course you will forget, it is an useless service!
Their support team is very quick and…
Their support team is very quick and tend to help the customer. Be careful not to forget cancelling your subscription like me because as far as I know there is no specific regulation in Germany for customer notification. The problem (no notification system) is general, does not belong to XING. Although I have to pay the invoice and not so happy, it would not be fair to blame XING for that. The team was so helpful, friendly and quick! (Thanks to Michael Sandlin from team)
