The Modus is designed for control and precision: a 12K carbon face over an EVA Soft Touch core, with a sandy finish and medium balance. It holds the ball a fraction longer than most racquets, which is what makes the difference between a bandeja that lands and one that sits up. The Imperia is a different proposition altogether. Built for the player who takes the net and does not relinquish it, it combines a high balance profile with a 12K carbon frame and an EVA High Recovery core. The 3D textured surface bites the ball on impact, converting swing speed into heavy spin with the kind of authority that ends rallies rather than prolonging them. For víboras, overhead smashes, and the more aggressive varieties of net play, it is the appropriate instrument. Both racquets are shaped in a small Andalusian workshop using Italian fibre and Spanish carbon and resin. No stage of production is outsourced outside Europe. We ship across the EU. As an intermediate player, I highly recommend the Modus raquette. Initially I thought it was heavy but when I checked it had the same weight than my older raquette. I immediately adjusted to it from the first game, It gives an excellent control of the ball with also a perfect amount of power when needed. Wrist and shoulder friendly +++ my game and ball placement has become more consistent
