The wraps look great, but I did not receive my order after waiting for 2 months.
I would have been happy to accept the wait if the customer service was not terrible. The owner notes that she had been ill, which I completely understand for a small business so I was patient and empathetic. However, the customer service experience is not great, she deals with many people and so responds harshly and rudely and does not treat each customer with care.
I was told 3 times the order was sent even being told I would receive the order next day at 1pm, the order did not arrive. I followed up and said let’s just leave it, please can you send my refund and rather than apologise she said “let’s end communication”… fortunately she did confirm the refund (yet to be received).
I’ve never been so appalled and the lack of accountability is shocking, she starts at the point of blaming someone else - Royal Mail - which seems absurd as I literally send packages via Royal Mail and have not had a 2 month wait (when there are no strikes) - rather than just communicating honestly with customers.
Even if you have the best product, to not fulfil an order and on top of that not care about your individual customers is awful. Remember you may be speaking to several people, but those people are only speaking to you.

I am very impressed with the stretch that these wraps have. I have been looking for good ones at beauty supplies for YEARS trying to find the right head wrap, and this is where it’s at! I ordered 4 wraps and 1 bonnet in my first order and I’m coming back for seconds. Trying to get the whole collection lol. 10/10 Highly recommend. Shipping was good but the US had snow randomly so all the mail was backed for a moment but I'm quite patient and didn’t mind at all. Happy Wrapping Sisters 🫶🏾

Thank you so much for such amazing products ! I was buying this for a friend’s birthday and the shipping took a lot longer than expected which was a bit of an inconvenience as I had to give her her present late. Other than that, everything else was fine and I will be purchasing again !

Got the khaki headwrap and have not stopped wearing it, glad I got my hands on it bc it’s the first to sell out. It is a lot more stretchy compared to the black and brown. Love love love.

I bought an item in December and still haven't received the item which was supposed to be a Christmas gift. I sent several emails, DM's and left comments on her IG posts in an effort to get a response - I got no response for over a month and this was the first response I received from the owner verbatim
'I personally find your response unnecessary and I'll informed / please do not buy from our brand again - I'll reverse your offer and you'll get a full return - we're humans not robots / respectfully chill out" - no apology nothing!
I'd definitely not recommend buying from this person as she doesn't seem to understand the responsibilities that come with being a business owner.
Last week, she posted on her IG account to say that they would be shipping orders soon - all while ignoring the numerous messages and comments customers had left on her page.
She now posted that she was unwell - life happens that is understandable - but if she was able to post last week she could have just said that she was unwell and would respond in due time. It's honestly shocking that someone would run their business this way. Buy at your own risk!

I've just seen your response to my review so I'm going to give more context. I was willing to let this go, but it seems like you are still upset given your response.
I still haven't received any email from you, nor a refund from you. I do not lack empathy, I already explained to you via dm on IG that it wasn't a problem that you were sick or needed time away. No business owner is perfect, but your lack of effective communication was and still is an issue.
You sent me a rude message off the bat instead of apologising for the delay. I didn't even see your post that you were sick until the next day because you messaged me at 11:26PM. I was only responding to YOU being rude.
During the time that you were sick, you posted several times on IG. I had no idea you were sick because you did not communicate that. From my end, it seemed that you chose to ignore the messages multiple people, including myself, left under your posts. I have all the screenshots and evidence of all the communication I sent to you.
It's currently a cost of living crisis, and I have experienced serious financial hardship - It was literally the last money I had that I spent to buy a relative a Christmas gift for her supporting me during a rough year. I was really looking forward to purchasing from you as I wanted to support your business.
When I didn't receive any news or update from you regarding my order, I gave you the benefit of the doubt and assumed that you would get back to me in due time. I ordered on the 18th of December and didn't follow up until the 14th of January to allow you the time to get in touch.
I sent you 3 emails - one on the 14th, 17th and 19th of Jan which to date have not been responded to. When I didn't hear anything a whole month later and saw other people commenting on IG, I decided to follow up and comment under your posts. The first message I sent to on IG you was this:
"Hi I still haven't received an order I placed on the 18th of December - there is no tracking and no updates from your end. I would like a refund. I have emailed you several times, still no reply up to a week later. This is extremely disappointing" - 20th Jan at 8:19
To which you responded:
"I personally find your response unnecessary and I'll informed / please do not buy from our brand again - I'll reverse your offer and you'll get a full return - we're humans not robots / respectfully chill out"
I was rude back to you as a response to the message YOU sent because I felt like you were in the wrong - instead of acknowledging that, you were telling me not to buy from you - because you didn't like the fact that I highlighted the problem on a public platform.
Under what circumstance was your response warranted or ok? How was I supposed to respond to that message given that I purchased an item and you never fulfilled the order?
You cropped the initial message I sent to you on IG to just the last sentence, and made a whole post about it, saying I had sent you nasty messages - to make me seem I was the problem, instead of owning up to the fact that you didn't communicate properly - even upon your return from being sick.
Yes we all have issues, and I'm sorry that you were sick, but that doesn't warrant you being rude to someone who just wanted to support your business.
I have bought from many a small business, and have experienced issues, but they either apologised, remedied the situation or promptly refunded and that was the end of it. Never in my 30+ years have I had a small business owner be rude to me when they are the one who was in the wrong.
Don't worry, I definitely will not be patronising your business again but I hope you learn that there is no room for ego in business and that great customer service is necessary even during difficult times.

I was excited to receive my order as I’ve seen people on tiktok and Instagram reviewing. However I am led to believe they were paid promo as my order still hasn’t been delivered in over a month despite shipping promises of 2-3 working days. No response to the emails I’ve sent. I’m extremely disappointed. Do not buy from them unless you want to have your money wasted.

The head wraps are stretchy, long and overall really good quality material! What I’m really disappointed by is the delivery standard of the products! My order was in a transparent bag with my name and address written with what looks like a highlighter? On a piece of lined paper which looked ripped out of a notebook. Anyone could’ve stolen my parcel due to its visibility during transit and this really needs to be addressed next time.

I came across @yeye_mi brand on Instagram and really liked what the brand stands for in making self-care tools for your natural hair and your self-care journey, I recently purchased a orange headscarf and satin pillow case from the brand and I’ve already worn the orange headscarf a couple times since getting it and started using the satin reversible pillow case at nightime. I’m still trying to adjust with the satin pillow case as i found my hair still feeling dry at times when I wake up but i’ve been wearing my bonnet along side it. The delivery was good and the packaging was really nice especially the special touch with the thank you note and the business card/ promo of the brand. I also love that the brand is black-owned, created by a black British Nigerian woman who has creatively embedded various Nigerian/ African tribe cultures in the different pieces in her brand e.g the different bonnet designs from the brand. I look forward to buying more headscrafs from this brand, the headscraf are made out of a jersey material which makes it breathable, it’s longer than most headscarfs and it’s versatile with the different styles you can do with it. As a lazy natural this headscraf has come in handy, especially with the winter month here in the UK. If you are looking to treat yourself and your natural hair and self care journey then make sure to check Yeyemi brand.
