I’ve tried a lot of different streaming platforms over the past year, and before that I even tried running everything through OBS Studio. It was either too complicated, too expensive, or both. Most platforms advertise one price, but then you discover extra charges for storage, video uploads, additional channels, restarts, or other “small” things that make the final price much higher than expected.
Then I found Ucast.cloud, and it solved pretty much all of those problems.
What I like most is the calculator. I don’t have to buy a fixed plan with 3 or 5 streams if I don’t need it. Sometimes I only need 1 stream and 50 GB of storage, and sometimes I need 5 streams but only 10 GB. With Ucast.cloud I can configure exactly what I need and only pay for that, instead of wasting money on features I won’t use.
I also really like that they support 2K and 4K streaming for a reasonable price. On most other platforms this becomes extremely expensive very quickly.
Another very convenient feature is that I can connect all of my YouTube channels at once and simply choose which one I want to use when creating a stream. YouTube integration works smoothly and saves a lot of time.
The feature that completely solved my biggest problem is automatic restarts. I need my stream to restart every two days at a specific time. Using the restart scheduling tool in Ucast.cloud, I set it up once and for the last 3 months my streams have been restarting automatically and continuing to make money without me having to do anything.
I contacted support a couple of times, and every time they replied very quickly and solved the issue right away.
Overall: simple, flexible, much cheaper than competitors, and actually does what it promises. Highly recommended.
