The software and its underlying functionality / paradigm are exactly what I want in my budgeting program. It’s just a bit pricey.

I can’t believe I ever lived without YNAB. Transformed my finances and my relationship to money. It just becomes part of daily life and brings so much peace of mind.

Signing up for YNAB has literally changed my life. I recommend them to anyone and everyone.

I have never been good with keeping track of my money. Trying to keep track with paper and pencil was not working for me financially because I never knew what money was available and made poor decisions. YNAB has been perfect for me. I am able to account for every dollar. Savings for projects has become easier while also staying on top of my financial responsibilities YNAB is also easy to use and support is just a click away. I am so grateful to have found YNAB. It has made a positive difference in my life. I am now financially responsible!

I've had a great experience, ynab was really easy to get started with and it helped me find little expenses and subscriptions I could cancel right away. Being able to easily assign income to budgets as it comes in is amazing

Worth The Homework!

Don't get me wrong, the way YNAB is built requires some research and maintenance to make it work well. However, once you do it, it makes understanding your finances and setting long-term goals easier. I used to be anxious about whether I had enough money for my different expenses, but now YNAB makes that so much clearer.

I've been using YNAB for over a year now and it's changed my life. There was definitely a learning curve and took a few months to 'get into' zero budget planning and using the App to check my account balance vs looking into my actual account to see if I had money available - but I feel once you get good at that - it changes everything. Also the concepts I learned from YNAB about getting more organised in your finances and how to plan has made a big difference in my life. I feel a lot more financially secure than when I started.

It has been great being able to see in advance all my trends and spending etc. It has helped me keep on track

In theory, it would be handy to keep track of spending but it’s an endless job trying to keep YNAB accurate. I’ve spent many hours trying to find why the numbers are wrong but the problems persist. Have watched a lot of YouTube videos on how to fix it but I guess I haven’t watched the right one yet.

I like the app, it helps a lot but I do not think it's worth the cost... For me it should be cheaper...

All the UI updates that add steps to managing my budget ("plan") are unnecessary.

The app has allowed me to feel in control for the first time.

Decent product but too expensive for what it is. They keep raising the prices where it’s no longer worth it.

I love this app for its tracking ability.
But if using just for only tracking i guess it's a bit of a hi price.
Been from Australia u need to also purchase budget feeder so your bank feeds come across which is another $5.99 / month.
I am hoping to get more out of this app been using it for 12 months now I wouldn't say I have become a millionaire out of using it yet.
But with all the inflation that has happen in the last few years it's hard cost just keep going up.
The Categorises are great and the reflet is good to you can see exactly where every $1 goes.
I just struggle sticking to any sort of budget all ways robbing peter to pay Paul.
I do recommend YNAB I just wish it was a little lower in price.

I couldn’t live without YNAB

YNAB is a good way to implement your spending plan with features like linking your accounts, setting targets, training information and ease of use. The flaw is support. If you encounter a problem it takes days to receive feedback and you generally get boilerplate solutions. If you are in need of a timely response it’s not going to happen. You will likely get multiple technicians and numerous emails going backwards and forth about your issue. I don’t recall this happening in my past so maybe YNAB needs to upgrade their customer support methodology. On September 10 I was supported by Brian from YNAB and my issues were resolved. It seems each time you contact YNAB support it’s seen as a new issue so ongoing problems can go unresolved. Based on Brian’s support I will give 5 stars.
