I felt judged

As a first-time client, I was hoping for a kind and supportive introduction to therapy for my son. Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. The therapist appeared visibly frustrated when we experienced audio issues and again when we hadn’t completed an assignment before the session. Rather than feeling supported, I felt judged.

In the end, she decided not to continue working with my son because of me, which was disheartening—especially for a first experience seeking help. I understand that not every therapist-client fit is perfect, but I expected a more compassionate and patient approach.
