YPOO Fitness Walking Treadmill: Mixed Experience with Safety Concerns

I bought this YPOO Fitness walking treadmill this winter on Temu to help with my executive functions (I have AuDHD) and support my mental health through a daily walking routine.
Delivery was problematic: the package was misplaced in my building, someone else signed for it, and Temu refused to assist, leaving me to handle everything alone. I had to retrieve and carry it up myself.
Once set up, I was excited to try it, but I fell on the first use. The treadmill belt was loose and poorly secured, causing me to lose balance and land hard, on my hips and butt. Living alone, I remained on the floor for several minutes in significant pain.
Since the incident, I struggle to use it confidently. I had to buy a desk for stabilization support. Despite multiple attempts, anxiety now outweighs the benefits.
I deeply regret not choosing the model with handles — it would likely have prevented the balance issue and made the treadmill safer.
Recommendation: Buy directly from the manufacturer rather than Temu for better support. And if you’re considering a model without handles… think twice and go with the handles for safety, especially if you live alone.
Overall, the treadmill has potential for walking routines, but the safety flaw and poor delivery/support turned what should have been a helpful tool into a stressful experience. Three stars for the concept, minus points for execution and customer service.

Extremely unprofessional company

Extremely unprofessional company. Upon facing an issue the admin team to offend me and actually offer no assistance or address the problem. By far the most unprofessional company I have ever faced, and that may be a shame as it may have just been the employee representing the company.

Well I just received my treadmill…

Well I just received my treadmill through FedEx..took a minute because of the weather we been having throughout the states..the treadmill was very easy to assemble..my only two complaints would be the handlebars are to short for a tall person & the walking pad needs to be longer..I think for walking it will be OK..but "running" is gonna be a no go..

This was a gift

This was a gift, so I can’t write from personal experience. But the recipient is very happy with it so far. The only thing it doesn’t have is a bar to hold on to. I thought it had one.
