YSMS is a great school. My children wouldn’t dream of going anywhere else. Their teacher, Adam, is stern yet fun. He will push yet is patient. He won’t do what many other schools do and up a belt because they’ve been so many classes. He makes sure they’re ready before giving them their next belt. No cheating in this school.
His passion comes through his teaching. He wants to get the best out of his students. In doing so, his students has a high level of respect for him.

First met Adam around 3 years ago when he was the only one out of about a dozen I contacted who was willing to have a look at my daughter Brianna who has cerebral palsy to see if it was possible to teach her all the others gave a very positive NO But Adam has now been teaching her for 3 years at two different venues and just to see her smile when she learns and gets a kata right is worth it plus he's brought her out of her shell as she was very shy with no confidence but now she can't wait for Fridays class and he also teaches myself and my dad and we would all recommend him as he's a great instructor with lots of patience for all ages from 5 to ??? My dad is 70

My daughter used to go to karate before. It didn't even look like karate! We went to YSMS and oh! So big difference! Very experienced Sensei! Sensei is patient and kind as well as Sensei's older students who help with little ones! I highly recommend YSMS to everyone! My daughter has improved not only in karate, but in respecting people, know how to behave (you know little girls) and basically I can see the improvement after each session! Thank you Sensei for doing what you are doing! We are very grateful to you and highly recommend you ! 🙏

The training is not for the faint hearted but you will be taught with care & compassion. You WILL build confidence & you WILL be well looked after.

These are the best teachers if you want to learn how to properly master karate!

Adam is a great instructor. My daughter joined him a month back and she is really enjoying the lessons and have improved alot
Her confidence has boosted ,which is great effect i have noticed.
I would definitely recommend if you want someone who is interested to teach your kids good karate..

If you want someone who is keen, enthusiastic and more than patient, you need to attend a martial arts session with this guy (Adam).

We have been taking our 9 yrs old grandson for nearly 12 mths.

Under Adams guidance, his confidence has grown considerably.

Sessions are made to be fun and enjoyable for the kids.

Adam is a great tutor and my son really enjoys his sessions and building his skills and confidence.

My son has been with Adam over a year, he's taught him alot and shown him what persistence can achieve. He couldn't do anything when he first started has come along way. Adam is a great teacher and also has amazing helpers that make the sessions run smoothly. Highly recommend

Adam is the best kind of instructor, upholds discipline but not bossy, friendly and funny but never a pushover and knows how to get the best from children and adults of all ages and abilities.

The club is fantastic for adults and children alike. I attend (age late 40s) and so do my 2 daughters age 8 and 13. Every week is different and everyone can succeed whatever their ability. Adam is very knowledgable, supportive and encouraging. The club is welcoming and friendly. A great club to be a part of!

My son has been doing classes with Adam for around 2 and a half years now and still looks forward to it every week. Adam is great with all ages in the class, keeping them focused but also having fun. Learnt a few things myself sat observing every week.
I would highly recommend these classes for any age or experience level. Adam clearly loves his job!

Highly recommend YSMS. My son has been doing Karate with Adam for three years now and has learnt so much. His confidence has grown massively and he has made some brilliant friends. Adam is wonderful with all of the students and is always very welcoming to newcomers.

My kids have been with the school for over 10 years and they enjoy every minute of it. Adam is a great teacher and gets the best out of them. It gives them confidence and discipline not only during training but in their everyday lives. Cannot recommend YSMS enough!
