Y Solar 

Don't use this company. We had our solar panels installed and as the return was not as promised they had agreed to refund money to us. I provided evidence, tried calling and emailing - they promised to call me back and never did. We were not eligible for our money back through the ombudsman because of how we paid initially and in all honesty I gave up trying, this has been going on since 2016. They are deceitful, unprofessional and WILL NOT fulfil their promise.

This Company is in liquidation and the recently formed sister company, Y Solar Domestic, applied to be struck off the Companies House register. The application was made by its sole director, Rahi. That application has been suspended due to an objection being made.

This company have owed me money for several years for faults they made. Not only have I not been paid but they have treated me with the utmost disrespect, lied constantly and show no care for their customers. Do not use them they are the lowest of the low.

Lied about the need of a maintenance update to my solar installation and ripped me off of £400+vat. The agreement was that I would see benefits in the improved of the performance of the solar installation, with my money being returned to me in 6 months.

7 Months later they have refused initially to answer my questions, not take my calls and only called back after I recognised what they did as a SCAM. They have refused to return my money, and, after speaking to EDF, there has been no improvement in the performance of the equipment.

Initially, I thought these guys where legit but they have revealed themselves to be opportunists and SCAMMERS praying on people.

Do not use these guys, and if you have already do not allow them to SCAM you in an 'upgrade' on your installation.

I am going to pursue the return of my money.

The solar panels are supposed to be self funding, not true. If you move house, the first move of the panels should be free of charge, not true. They will charge you.
Everything we were told by the salesman was a lie, so don’t trust them.

Our experience with Y solar was 1st class from start to Finish, once we had made our decision it only took 7 days from survey to installation! One thing I would highly recommend is the self monitoring portal, we have had our system for 4months now and it’s quite reassuring to be able to see how much energy we are producing and money saved!! We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them. S&J.
