No contact …

I booked with yumping a helicopter flight in Lisbon. It should be in exacty one week, I tried to contact them about the time and location of the Event, but I get no answer at all. I think it's just a Scam and I don't get any money back. Let's hope the best.
Edit:
After this review they contacted me and the flight was possible. But I would not book a second time there. Awful contact.

Avoid booking through Yumping

**update: I got an email and refund happened so quickly and smoothly. It just took some time for me to get an email from Yumping team but once connected, everything was so smooth.

Booking activity was very easy but you won't hear anything from Yumping after you book.

My activity got canceled due to the weather and I immediately asked for a refund. However, I didn't receive any cancelation confirmation email (even in my spam box) or acknowledgement.
Yumping says that they will get back within 24 business hours but it's been more than 5 days and no contact I received.
You don't have any options to connect with Yumping. Once you book the activity, that's it. They will not do anything further.
I really don't know how I can get a refund about activity that didn't happen at all.

Avoid Avoid Avoid!!!! This company is a fraud and will take your money for a trip that does not exist and then guess what, you will not be refunded! Despite various requests! Go directly to a company rather that using a company that is no better than a street mugger!!!!!

We booked horseriding in La Mula Vejer…

We booked horseriding in La Mula Vejer two days ago and no one contacted us with a meeting place or time. We drove to search for the place but after 3 hours and after asking many people including the bar where we supposed to have the aperatiff we could not locate the place. My 14 year old daughter was very dissapointed and I am angry to have wasted a day of our holiday . I have stage 4 cancer and don`t have time to waste on such unorganized and probably scam companies. a refund would be nice but now I find myself to have to spend more time trying to get my money back ???? If someone knows who and where these people are please let me know.

Wonderful riding tour

I had a wonderful horse back ride to the beautiful beach of Cala Mitjana. Beautiful Menorcan horses and nice guide, and sunny weather really made this the best experience! I want to do this again one day.

Do not use this company! Scammers!!

Do not use this company!! Complete scammers! Booked and paid for jet ski experience for Corralejo but when called the jet ski company to confirm a time they told me they are currently not open and Yumping need to refund! Emailed and messaged Yumping and still no response..
Yumping are clearly falsely advertising for experiences that don’t exist- shocking!

Would not use again

booked a horse riding experience in the UK. Called and visited the horse riding centre and they told me they had never heard of the website, they don’t do business with them and as such don’t have my booking or any payment.

I approached my bank and explained the situation. They investigated it and later received a refund.

Scam

My wife booked segway tour in zaragosa Spain, it felt odd that after the booking we had to call to clarify the time of the booking on the day. Today we asked our hotel to phone the number and they were told that the segway company had closed down 5 years ago! Total scam my wife has reported it through the bank she paid through in the hope we can receive a refund.

Feels like a scam

Bought an equestrian experience and booked the date. Got an email with the equestrian centre’s phone number to confirm the details. Called them and they let me know that they haven’t worked with Yumping for 10 years and that the company is awful.
Only means of asking Yumping for help is through an email. Still waiting for a response.

Update:
After publishing this review, I was asked by Yumping for more info. It seems as if they check the reviews more than their own emails (although I have no proof).
I was contacted and assisted by a “Yeray” and a “Angela”. They were both very helpful, very efficient and professional.
Two separate options were offered, in two different equestrian centres. Interestingly, when the two links were sent to me to choose from, they had the same exact photos and the same exact description - the only thing that changed was the name of the equestrian centre and the location. Odd.

When everything was set - my horseriding tour is planned for the 28th of April - I got an email of which I will copy only the salient part:

“ A su vez me han informado desde nuestro departamento de calidad, que realizaste una reseña negativa. Entiendo que la sensación que tuviste en un primer lugar fuese negativa, me gustaría pedirte retirar la misma o bien modificarla puesto que esta reseña me afecta negativamente a mi personalmente.”

A company that claims repercussions to its employees after bad reviews that do not mention said employees (as the first review I published) is not a very good one. I have edited my review, as requested, but in detail because I don’t believe Yumping is a serious company after everything that happened.

I do not recommend anyone use it.

I booked a kayaking experience through yumping and was impressed with how easy the process was. Great communication from them and a great experience kayaking. I would certainly use again and highly recommend

*UPDATED* SCAM - take the money and you don’t receive anything in return

Since posting this I was contacted by Yumping asking me to remove this review, had the response been tailored more to an apology for the lack of communication from the company or to offer some reassurance I would have removed the review as requested but as I felt the sole purpose of the phonecall was to get me to remove the review, I am not. Only updated rating as I have since received a full refund.

I booked a tandem skydive and selected ‘gift’, received an email saying the recipient had been sent an email with all the information about how to book, however the email to them never arrived. I’ve tried to contact through several email address/contact options and had no response - unsure the company is even still operating after checking social media everyone seems to be having the same experience

Thank-you Yerah!

This was my first booking with Yumping. I initially reserved paragliding for two (2) people but my friend changed his mind about 1 week before the event. It was a bit frustrating at first to contact the activity provider and Yumping, but I was eventually contacted by Yeray Bueno (from Yumping). I explained the situation and he was able to change the booking to one person. Yeray placed the remaining balance into a virtual wallet and explained how to use it for future purchases. I really appreciated that he promptly replied to all of my emails and provided a satisfying solution... especially from across the world.

Dishonest company

Dishonest company

I purchased 2x ‘Balloon Flight with Skydiver Show’ for 400€ from Yumping. The activity was scheduled for 14 Nov 2023.

The day before, I was told by the company that they would have to cancel the flight due to fog. I contacted Yumping and they told me they will refund the money to my "Virtual Wallet" instead of refunding it to my credit card when the terms are clearly stated on their website.

Seriously dishonest and mislead their customers with false guarantees. Avoid them at all costs.

Update: The customer service representative processed the refund after I specifically requested it. They should have initiated the refund back to my credit card (per their policy) after the event had been cancelled rather than offering credit and letting the customers go through so much hassle just for a refund. It took over 2 weeks to get the refund after the cancellation of the event. It would have been longer if I did not email them. Or maybe I would not even receive my refund if I did not email them in the first place.

Booked an activity for 7/10/23 and…

Booked an activity for 7/10/23 and contacted the activity provider to arrange a time for the activity, she wasn’t available to do the activity on said date, but we couldn’t do any other day as we were only there for a weekend and had other things planned. The activity provider told us to contact yumping to cancel and for a refund. I have contacted them with no response or refund, there is nowhere on the website to leave a complaint!
After leaving this review (with a previous 1*) I was contacted very promptly by Guillermo who was extremely helpful and managed to get us a very fast refund. He was more than helpful, thank you so much for sorting this.

Incredible customer service

I booked an activity through Yumping, however the activity provider was unable to follow through on the scheduled date. I had already paid for the activity which was fairly expensive, and had to go through Yumping to get a refund.
Guillermo reached out to me and has been nothing less than amazing. He has been helping push my refund through and communicating to me throughout the entire process.
He’s extremely kind, helpful, personable, and the only person I’d want on my side helping me in this situation.

Booked a hot air balloon ride back in…

Booked a hot air balloon ride back in May 23. Got confirmation email. When we tried to book date, got conflicting dates in October 23. When I chased them for instructions and to clarify date, I was emailed a phone number for further info. This turned out to be Virgin Balloons (not the company I had originally booked). Turns out the company I had booked with in May had closed down months before, but I was still sold vouchers for them. They have now given me a full refund, but I have wasted 6 months trying to book a non-existent balloon flight. Steer clear of this time-wasting company.

Scammers…

Disgusting Company do not use their srrvices as they are scamming and ripping people off! We booked with them for Skydiving in Caltagirone to be done by sunflyers. Ecerything was confirmed until we called Sunflyers and to confirm everything all is well and they told us they had no booking and to make it worse they were not even in Caltagirone but in Calabria. We sent them 7 emails and no one got back to us in a spam of 5 days. They are scamming people's money. Never again!! Shameful!!!!

Problem quickly solved

Update:
After posting my complaint here, the company reached out to us within a day.
Guillermo was really forthcoming and understanding here. Thanks Guillermo! After explaining our problem, we were offered several alternatives that unfortunately weren't suitable options for us. Therefore, we got a full refund in a matter of days. Safe to say, they seem to be committed to satisfy their customers.

On the website, it's not clearly communicated that you're just buying a voucher. We specifically booked a tour for a certain date, which turned out to not being available any more. Since you're buying a voucher, there's no refunds. Won't recommend at all and wouldn't buy anything again. It's a shame that business models like that are legit.

Avoid Yumping

I booked a inflatable sofa bed session through yumping.com on 12th September with Sporting Beach (activity provider is not confirmed until you get an email from Yumping after purchase). The email with the voucher said to contact the activity provider to confirm a time. When I contacted the activity providers (Sporting Beach) they said they don’t work with yumping.com and they would not provide me with the excursion because I didn’t purchase it through them. Sporting Beach said they have had a couple of similar calls from people who’ve purchased their sessions/excursions through Yumping in the last few weeks - they said everyone they’ve spoken too have had a terrible time trying to get their money back.

I tried to call yumping.com using
+34 917 907 906 which i found on a business contact site. I was on the phone for 35 minutes listening to a recording tell me I was the next caller in line to speak to someone, but no one ever picked up the phone. I’ve used the “contact us” part of the website but received no reply and the recording the on the phone gave an email address which I’ve also used & am hoping to receive a reply.

I’ve asked Sporting Beach to confirm in an email that they won’t accept my booking as they don’t work with yumping so I can contact my bank to try get my money back - no reply from Sporting Beach so far either.

€60 gone down the drain by the looks of it.

AVOID BOOKING THROUGH YUMPIN.COM or you’ll lose your money.

**Update** Yumping ignored me until they spotted this review. They then contacted me to refund the €60 and pressurised me into changing this review (even before the refund hit my bank account). Yes I have now received the refund (nearly 2 weeks after I paid them) but I am also in receipt of multiple phone calls each day from Guillermo in yumping.com, pressuring me to change this review and praise their prompt response.

The response was only prompt after I posted this review, not when I needed to contact them to try re-arrange the experience I bought, while I was still in Marbella & could avail of it. Now the multiple daily phone calls and emails are nuisance - for example, they have rang me 3 times today. I would still recommend avoiding this company.

For anyone trying to get through to them, the number they keep phoning me from is +34 917 690 743.

My review accurately reflects my experience - you specifically stated that your phone calls were in response to my review on here. There is no contact information for you on your website, or emails. I edited the review when I received my refund - as I said I would. Waiting nearly two weeks for a refund is not quick. I spoke to the service provider that I had booked through your website and they said they had other potential customers with the same experience as me, who couldn’t not get their money back. I spoke to the company I rented our apartment from and they said they had heard the same about Yumping. If you don’t want negative reviews, here’s a few tips - 1) only advertise services you that actually have a contract with the provider for (the provider in question said they cancelled their contract with you SIX MONTHS AGO) 2) be contactable so that people (like me) don’t waste a full day of a 1 week holiday trying to (unsuccessfully) reach you. If I could have contacted you when I tried, there would have been no issue. 3) stop pressuring people to change their reviews of your service, when your service is awful and falsely advertises services you don’t actually offer.

Finally, please stop phoning me.

I also attempted to contact you by phone last week and this week again to confirm your refund, but we have not received any response from you.
