Extremely disappointed with my Yuxiang heli

This is marketed as a beginner friendly heli, and it often flies as one in the beginning. After several flights, the heli malfunctioned and crashed very badly. Cannot diagnose the cause of the crash except it seems like the gyro went bonkers or some other severe malfunction caused the heli to crash. Safety features on this heli does not protect it from catastrophic events, buyer beware.

This is a great heli when it works but its VERY prone to malfunctioning randomly. Its not crash proof, and its also not very easily serviced. The piece of crap screwdriver it comes with is useless, and the screws are too small, and very difficult, almost impossible to take apart for repairs. I don't know why they designed it this way.

Buyer beware. I would stay away from YuXiang RC products in future.

I suggest wait for a few more generations of smart Heli's because this one you should avoid unless you like burning your money.

After receiving my $600 helicopter from RcGoing—I found a couple of issues with its quality control. One of the batteries was bad and the body had an obvious assembly defect. Ben at RcGoing would not help but sent me to Yuxiang directly saying they were issues for the manufacture to resolve. After dozens of emails, pictures and a video—Yuxiang says they will not do anything because I did not purchase their product directly from them…but through an authorized dealer. Even though the issues are from the manufacture, Yuxiang, they are not willing to provide any product support.
