Zap Map is excellent. I always use it before a trip somewhere to identify conviently located chargers and check user feedback on reliability etc. On a recent trip to Carlisle I found there were 7kw ch... See more

My Zapmap charge card not working.
I had a problem getting my Zapmap charge card to work at an EV charging station. It wasn't an insurmountacle problem at the time because I was able to use my contactless Visa card to charge my car. I prefer to use the Zapmap card if possible though.
I contacted Zapmap support on 9th December. I had a reply by email from Ryan Bury at the support centre.
He asked a few questions about my problem, I replyed, and got detailed instructions from Ryan the next day.
The problem was solved and everything was sorted within 48hrs.
Excellent rapid service.
Many thanks

A must have app for EV owners
A must have app for EV owners. We use it to quickly and easily identify charging points when we plan long journeys. It shows how many charging points are at each site, and if any are out of order, which removes the stress and guesswork. My only bug bear; it's sometimes hard to see road names and motorway junction numbers on the map. The more you zoom in, the smaller they get!
Highly recommend Zapmap
I signed up with Zapmap after having my new E V charger installed. I had a small problem with setting up my new card but phoned and got straight through they were very helpful and sorted my problem in a few minutes. Thousands of EV chargers all over the country so no problem getting charged up when we are on our long trips.
Very good support
If you're thinking of getting an EV then you need zapmap. I haven't found another app that does the job of checking what chargers are available as well as zapmap. I had an issue with my subscription but the support were really good and helped get to the cause of the issue.

Easy to navigate
Great help setting up my charger to become visible.
Amber on the support side has been fantastic and has been the only one who seems to be willing to help, we are public charger owner and we operate Monta chargers which are meant to automatically show up on Zapmap from their partnership but when calling and email ended up with both sides saying it's the fault of the other I was left at a loss what to do. That's when I got through the Amber, who took charge and became a great point of contact, liaising with both sides and pushing for a fix to be activated, which it now has been and we are live on the site.
ZapMap - a positive force for EV owners
I respect that ZapMap team actively seek feedback, and aim to inform and increase the uptake of EVs.
i enjoy learning from their newsletters.
I don’t often travel long distances - their app isn’t perfect but it does help ease my anxiety. And the charge card - so helpful and useful!
Whenever I have a panic wobble, or found a problem or something I don’t understand in the app, reaching out gets a full, understandable and human response.
Nice people to deal with.
Card credit in menu
When i went in to the card menu the credit was there, so i presume card is set up, ready to go.
Speedy reply
Not only was my query answered in a way I could understand but it was answered within 4 hours which I found to be acceptable

I have used Zapmap ever since buying my first Leaf in 2017 and been pleased to have it - it kept me from feeling like a stranger when travelling to distant places. Mainly I use it to find chargers when doing longer distances - which I do less these days with my 3rd Leaf. I find the website less helpful than on the app - which is a pity because when home I prefer the larger screen. Today I found I couldn't log in, even though my details are identical with those on the app. And it kept asking for my email address which I had entered correctly
The email updates are very useful.. I have just applied for my Charge card and paid for monthly Premium ahead of a driving holiday.
Customer service A1
Found the customer service excellent answered all my queries on charge card with frendly and knowledgeable answers.
We had a problem with a public charger…
We had a problem with a public charger that we'd been using regularly. We would look at Zapmap and see whether it was available before collecting the car (parked up the road on the street) and driving to the location. Three weeks ago the live availability reports stopped appearing. I contacted Zapmap and the charger network. Zapmap's Ryan was most helpful and stayed in touch with me via email until the live reporting started to appear again after a break of a couple of weeks. For people like us who can't have their own charging because they don't have off-road space, it's vital that the public charging networks keep pace with increased demand and we need to know in real time, whether a charger is in use or available. Zapmap provides that service and I was very impressed by their attention to me request for help.
I am a new virgin 3 week user of ZapMap.
I am a new virgin user of ZapMap, through the Gasboard via HIVE, with a 32Kw / 400m petrol Merc HiBrid. I have never charged externally at a charging point and only currently charge free via the Gasboard/HIVE at home, plus hardly use and petrol.
So that said absolute Newbee on ZapMap services and external charging. My.impression of the current staff service from ZapMap is beyond excellent with a few mix of issues on the gas board deal for the new HIVE home charger. The ZapMap team are efficient, understanding, very helpful and fast to correct issues. 10/10! I am currently bemused at the mobile app which has so much apparent and helpful info on it that I haven't yet got to grips with it and all the stations where you can or cannot charge and what the various chaps are? It does on the face of it look like the ZapMap per Kw charges appear to be more than some of the competitors (not sure why yet) but as I will 99% of my time, charge at home I probably am not bothered too much about it. Initial feel is ZapMap are a great choice through the Gasboard and Hive deliverables.
Now able to see map of home chargers on app
An excellent app - difficult to imagine travelling far in an electric car without the information from Zap-Map. In this instance, I was having difficulty finding home chargers such as JustCharge on the map on the app. I emailed ZM and Eleanora sent me a very full reply that resolved the situation.
Been with zapmap for over three years
Been with zapmap for over three years. I am in the process of changing broadband provider and have to change my email address. Zapmap where wonderful when I contacted them. My contact details changed in less than 24 hours. Well done the zapmap team.
Zapmap's lighting quick updates!
I contacted ZAPMAP to correct a new EV Charger location which was 0.5 mile out. Amber from ZAPMAP corrected this within just 3 hours which I thought both exceptional and reassuring too - as accurate information is vitally important to us EV owners. I would add, this is the second time I've provided an update and the first time was also updated the same day. Very well done.

I have always had great service and support from Zapmap and Ryan continue the trend. I also managed to get a free Zapmap charging card. Excellent customer service, thank you.
It's a mess
Not worth the trouble.
I stick with Pod point at Tesco.
Cheaper and easier than the mess that is zap maps. Lidl is okay with Lidl plus card, though not so many outlets like Tesco.
Excellent Customer Service
I had a problem on the app caused by my own actions. I contacted customer service, who sorted it out within a couple of hours.
