Zeffy charges an extra 17% "donation" to support its platform. Supposedly it's optional, but I didn't see any way to opt out when I checked out. Your only option is whether you want to "donate" 17%, 20% or 22%.
Plus, 17% is exorbitant. After I donated, Zeffy even gave me a message saying that any other platform would have taken 3% of my donation to cover transaction fees.
On top of that, the extra 17% is not noted anywhere on their receipt or in my Zeffy account, even though I verified through my bank account that the charge went through.
Their only "help" is AI generated chat. I only continued with the donation because I really believe in the cause, but this is the last time.

Our clients find Zeffy easy to use. We are notified right away so we can thank our clients in a timely manner.

Take time to learn how to use the platform it will be well worth it. It's definitely different than other event or crm platforms but once you learn it you'll love Zeffy

Zeffy is great for donor campaigns and so much more. I have donors who are able to commit to a weekly, or monthly schedule. It's convenient for everyone. No fees!

Overall, really appreciate Zeffy - both the ease of use as a ticketing platform and for it being fee free for non-profits. One small suggestion is for the ticketing platform - if there's a way to indicate both doors open and the start of the event. Some of our ticket holders got mixed up and thought doors open was the start of the program - and came early.

I was sent a link to Zeffy to renew my local historical society membership. Their website made it sound like the surcharge on top of the membership renewal fee was to cover the historical society's transaction fees, but the confirmation email clarified it's actually a plain donation to Zeffy unrelated to the transaction. The email I received also said I consented to automatic payment renewals in perpetuity and forced me to click the link to activate an account to turn that off. I never consented to automatic payments in perpetuity and that wasn't stated during the payment process. I requested a refund of the transaction from both Zeffy and the historical society and it will discourage me from donating in future, which is really unfortunate. I feel deceived and it's left a bad taste in my mouth.

A tad bit slow transferring donations to our bank.

We are a church and started to use Zeffy not long ago. We really like this service. Some people in church started to donate. We show the QR during the services and some people young and not too young a like.
