Very disappointed by the service

I am absolutely disappointed with the service from ZenMarket. My package was returned to them because the courier falsely claimed I had moved. Despite me providing mountain-loads of evidence, including invoices and photos of other parcels successfully delivered to my exact address during the same week, ZenMarket refused to accept it.
​They keep moving the goalposts, asking for "official" government documents that are impossible for me to provide, just to avoid admitting the carrier made a mistake. This company lacks any sense of accountability or basic customer support. They are happy to take your money, but the moment something goes wrong, they hold your items for ransom. I will be closing my account as soon as I (hopefully) receive my items after paying for shipping again. Save your time and money, shop elsewhere.

Smooth and Professional Service From Start to Finish

I’ve had an excellent experience using ZenMarket. The whole process was smooth, clear, and very professional from start to finish. Their platform makes it incredibly easy to buy items from Japan that would otherwise be difficult to access.
What impressed me the most was their communication and transparency. Every step — from purchasing the item, to warehouse storage, to international shipping — was clearly explained and handled very efficiently. The packaging was also outstanding: my items arrived very safely packed and in perfect condition.
Customer support was responsive and helpful whenever I had questions, and the shipping options were flexible and reasonably priced. You can really feel that they care about providing a reliable service.
I am extremely satisfied and will definitely continue using ZenMarket in the future. Highly recommended to anyone who wants to buy from Japanese marketplaces with confidence.

I recommend Zenmarket

I did 5 orders with Zenmarket and the last one was recently. Like the previous ones, even this time I'm very happy with the package because it was wrapped so well and, even if I chose the cheap shipping this time (that took 90-270 days), the package went early (few days before the 90th day).

I could find the products I need with…

I could find the products I need with fair prices. Also, money depositing was smooth. I had no doubts like "okay I sent money but where is it?", it instantly reflected to my account.

Although, since this was my first experience, there could be better introduction about whole process. Shipping options and prices were a bit blind shot to me while buying products.

Shipping and broker fees was very unclear and way more than I expected.

Highly recommend this service

I've used ZenMarket for four parcels now and it's been a seamless experience from start to finish each time. Purchasing the items was easy and intuitive, and their customer service is attentive and quick to respond to my queries when I was still unfamiliar with the service. All of my parcels arrived very quickly and in good condition. For some of my parcels, I had requested for the booklets to be wrapped in opaque covering to obscure the covers and it was done very carefully and very well!

No problem, straight forward process !

First time ordering using this kind of proxy service and from all the resource I done this one was the nose straight out the simplest one and I was right to go with ZenMarket ! I just look forward see how the package will arrive as I ordered a fishing rod and also paid for the reinforcement of the package. Anyway from my first experience with this I fully recommend it.

Poor UX and Archaic Payment System

The platform’s UI is unintuitive and feels significantly outdated. Navigating the site and managing orders requires an unnecessary learning curve that doesn't align with modern e-commerce standards.
​The biggest pain point is the fragmented, two-step payment model (paying for the item first and the shipping weeks later). This process is discouraging and creates financial uncertainty for international buyers. ZenMarket should follow the lead of platforms like Tiendamia, which streamline the entire process into a single, transparent transaction (Product + Logistics).
​Furthermore, the deposit-based system is archaic. Since the platform operates in JPY, users are forced to deposit more than the exact value to cover fluctuations, and retrieving that leftover balance is a tedious process. Not allowing a direct checkout for the exact amount is a major friction point.
​Modernizing the checkout experience and the user interface is essential to remain competitive. Currently, the complexity of the process overshadows the quality of the proxy service itself.

I regret using this service

I regret using this service. The parcel took more than one week to create after it arrived to the warehouse, and it’s been almost a month now after sending it with EMS, and I still did not get the parcel.
