Very disappointing experience with ZenMarket.
My account was suddenly suspended for “security reasons” without any clear explanation after I had already purchased multiple items through their service.
Many of my items were already marked as “Bought”, meaning they were successfully purchased from sellers and were expected to arrive at the ZenMarket warehouse. However, after the suspension I received no clarification about what will happen to these purchased items.
Additionally, I sent a €171 bank transfer following the instructions provided by ZenMarket support. After the suspension, a refund was issued but it went through currency conversion, which caused me to lose part of my money due to exchange rate differences and conversion fees.
I contacted ZenMarket support multiple times asking for clarification about:
• the purchased items
• the €171 bank transfer
• the financial loss caused by the refund conversion
Unfortunately, several days have passed and I still have not received any clear response.
At this point I have collected all evidence including payment receipts, transaction records, and screenshots of communication with support.
I hope ZenMarket will finally respond and resolve this situation fairly.

Damaged product received, zero support from ZenMarket
I ordered a Tascam deck through ZenMarket and specifically paid extra for 'Photo Service' and 'Reinforcement.' Despite this, the item arrived with a bent chassis. When I complained, they used their own warehouse photos to claim the damage was already there, but they NEVER informed me before shipping. If the damage was visible in the warehouse, why did they ship it? Now they only offer 10% refund after I paid massive customs duty. Their Twitter team is also silent. Extremely unprofessional service

Thank you for the reply, but your explanation is contradictory. If the damage was 'clear' in the warehouse photos (as claimed by your claim team), why was I not notified before international shipping? You shipped a damaged item despite me paying for Photo and Reinforcement services. A 10% refund doesn't even cover a fraction of the heavy customs duty I paid for a damaged unit. I will contact your support again as suggested, but I expect a fair resolution this time, not just policy excuses.
FINAL UPDATE (14 March 2026):
ZenMarket's 're-review' is a complete disappointment. They admit their staff cannot identify defects in photos but expect customers to do so. This makes their paid 'Photo Service' useless. More importantly, they claim that because the external box had no dents, they aren't responsible for the bent chassis of the Tascam unit. This is impossible—if the unit is bent inside a 'reinforced' box without external impact, it proves the damage happened AT their warehouse during their own handling or poor internal packaging. They are hiding behind policies to ignore a clear loss of my ₹10,383 customs duty and a damaged product. I strongly advise others to BEWARE. ZenMarket takes no responsibility for their own staff's negligence. I will now escalate this to international consumer forums and continue to share my experience on every audio community platform.

I was recommended to switch proxies to ZenMarket and wow! I'm very positively surprised and regret not trying it out earlier!
Very easy to use, very quick shipping (had to wait much longer with ky previous proxy despite using the same shipping method) and I love that there's a separate feature for favorites and a cart.
Customer service is also very good, they're kind and helpful, respond quickly.
I'm very happy that they're charging the tax fees right away, thanks to this the parcels go through customs smoothly and the flat fee upon receiving it as always the same. It was the biggest game changer to me over the previous proxy where I had to constantly contact customs and then paid massive fees on pick-up.
Oh and I also like the loyalty program and coupons

Took a while to figure out
Was a little lost after paying for product but then got an email to create a parcel. Wonder if I could have left the first CD in for a few days while waiting for the second CD to arrive, then ship in one box. Had fun and I'm very happy overall. I think you should promote the "add website " search feature more. Watched the YT video four times before that clicked in my head and then was excited to try it. Found my product and pasted the URL and it worked. That was the last option to try because seller would not ship out of country and I was surprised how easy that was, but I kept focusing on " key words ".

Not the best or clearest platform to use with certain things. Had to do the shippers job for them regarding finding out whether the shipping company would accept my item? Surely if it's the only option available for my delivery, they would know of that item could be sent via that method

Buying and adding items to the cart and paying for them was simple and easy, parcel preparation and shipping took a few days but no problems occurred. shipping prices seemed a bit higher than other services like buyee but seems fine for the amount of items sent (over 10+ vs 1).
Update:
Got my parcel today, everything was cushioned with bubble wrap and well protected, every item arrived without damage and in perfect condition. Definitely would use the service again!

I made my first ever purchase from Japan through ZenMarket and everything went really smoothly.
Everything in regards of shipping and VAT (valuable added tax) went as well as it could. In addition DHL shipped the package from Osaka to Finland in only 3 days which I was surprised by.
I’m extremely happy with my experience. I’ll definitely gladly use ZenMarket as a proxy in the future as well when I want to order something from Japan.

Thanks to ZenMarket I was able to purchase rare Mugen part directly from Japan! Each step of the process was clearly described and the package has been secured with tons of buble wrap, paper and additional reinforcements on each edge of the box. I will definitely come back later for more!

There is no apparent reason to divide processes of purchasing items and then later parcelling the items purchased. Why is it that the customer can’t select shipping at the same time when they buy an item? Why can’t the customer see what shipping will cost right when they purchase their item(s)? If there is a possible way for the customer to get free shipping, why is it not advertized well on the website? Your competition garner none of these questions.

I definitely don't recommend it. I used to buy a lot of things there until the packages started being packed very sloppily, even thoughtlessly. Of course, some items arrived damaged, and that's where the problem arises: Zenmarket employees refuse to acknowledge complaints in such cases, even though the damage occurred during transportation and all packages are insured. So, in short, I pay high shipping costs, I pay insurance, the items are damaged, and they claim nothing happened and I won't receive any compensation. Buyee is much better.

From price confirmation, packing and to ship was done very swiftly. The whole process was explained step by step as I proceed with and instructions were clear to understand. The only issue that stands out to me was the estimated shipping cost given by the fee calculator was a lot cheaper (about half of the actual shipping fee) than what I had to pay and that was a little surprising. Even I put in the exact dimensions and weight of my parcel after I had my parcel shipped, the calculator was still giving me only half of the actual shipping cost.
Overall it was a good experience and I would consider using ZenMarket again.

Very complicated and took ages!
I wanted my products when I was living in Japan, but only when I had already purchased products found out that they don't ship within Japan. When back in NZ and wanted to ship I applied a discount for shipping which went through. When I added the funds for shipping it didn't show and took more messaging to have it accepted. But then again, I got told I can't apply the discount for whatever reason and had to pay the balance of the shipping too which again caused trouble because it didn't show in my account until I messaged again backwards and forwards. Really annoying the whole experience! I hope one day I will receive what I ordered and then never use this service again!
