It was so easy to pick up the car and drop it off such was a huge plus when you're on vacation. Not having to worry about any damage because of the full insurance was also amazing. The car was nice and exactly what we needed.

Easy and smooth pickup system with keybox. The car was easy to find, clean and exactly as described. Full insurance coverage was included which is always comforting. Drop off was also incredibly easy with no issues. Great company for car rentals in Iceland

The overall experience with zero is good. I booked Suzuki Vitara and got Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross on pick up day. Would not mind it as they said they would give the similar or upgraded model. However, the second day, something popped up on the perimeter showing that RBS and EV System services required, I then simply pulled over and restarted the car and it went away. On the third day, this happened again and this time the car could not be started anymore. So basically stranded in the middle of nowhere and had to contact 24 h road assistance to tow the car and me to the hotel that night. Zero’s response was quick and responsive enough, that evening around 8 pm they sent the replacement car to my doorstep which i did not expect to be that quick. Another however, this time I got my original booked car model Suzuki Vitara, yet there was something wrong with the left windshield wiper and it kept making weird sound when working. I checked it myself it was most likely because the joint part of that arm was too loose causing the wiping angle wrong. Imagine driving in the foggy raining weather in Iceland for hours everyday and the wiper made the noise all the time non stop. Really a frustrating experience and could not really get rid of it. Contacted rental company again and they said I can find some repairing service to get it repaired and then kept the receipt and sent to them then get refunded. Did not do it as I had no idea where to find this kind of service in all those remote towns. So basically had to endure the sound pretty much for the rest of my Iceland journey for 7 days.

Easy pick up and drop off. It was great not having to worry about issues since everything was bundled. A vacation that is worrying free at least from a car rental prospective. Big win from Zero in delivering this.

Seamless self check in but took us a little bit of time trying to locate the car.
Drop off also very easy but the parking space for drop off is too limited making me to make few rounds to look for free space
Other than that no hassle and no questions asked when dropping off the key. Will recommend this car rental company to friends

We had such a great, simple, streamlined experience with Zero Car and it will be top of the recommendation list for family and friends who will be visiting Iceland! Instructions for picking up and returning the car were fool proof and the option to have wifi added was the best decision we made. Cannot speak highly enough of our experience with Zero Car.

So easy & thrustworthy! Very good information ahead. The easiest pickup, just walk acros the parkinglot, pick up your kee in kee-box, car on the lot, and drive of. At end of renting; fill up the gas, park car at designated row, hand over kee, and walk to airport. No truble what so ever. And feels very safe, with the always included full coverage insuranse.

Pick up and drop off was easy. Had a flat tire during the trip, contacted zero and had it repaired immediately and directly billed.

Pick up process took less than 2 minutes with key-box.
Booked a suzuki vitara and got a phev eclipse cross, which was better.
Return was just as easy. Took less than 1 minute.

Had a 2024 Rav4, rental was great no complaints at all. Car was clean and ready to go, check in process was easy and straightforward. Didn't do any F-roads, but did take some mountain roads and it was perfectly fine.

My only suggestion would be some signage to where the bus stop for the rentals is at the airport, as it wasn't very clear for my sleep deprived brain.

The service was clear and precise. We had all the information for avoid time loss. The price was very good!

We rented a car for 6 days and had a great experience. Pick-up and drop-off were right next to the Keflavík airport, which was super convenient. Since we arrived at night, we just picked up the keys from a locker — very simple and smooth process.

We originally booked a Toyota Yaris, but it wasn’t available, so we got a Kia Stonic instead. The car was in excellent condition and well-equipped — heated steering wheel and seats, parking sensors, automatic transmission, and even a fuel discount at several gas stations. Overall, we were very satisfied.

There’s an Orkan gas station near the airport where you can refuel before returning the car. They don’t offer a discount there, but you can pay at the counter without a deposit.

A smooth experience. Pickup was relatively easy, the vehicle was clean and return was quick and easy. No problems. I would definitely rent from Zero Car again.

We rented a car from Zero Car for about 10 days and had a great overall experience.
Everything went smoothly, easy booking, fair price, and quick pickup and return.

We got a Dacia Duster, which worked well for our trip. We later realized it was an older model than expected, but since it ran fine, we just kept going without report this issue.

On the last evening we had an engine failure and their customer service was excellent: fast, clear, and super helpful. They immediately arranged roadside assistance and helped us get back safely. The next day we reached the airport by taxi, and the company reimbursed the cost right away.

Disappointed with the condition of the car. There was damage, some of it serious, on nearly every panel. The steering wandered badly despite switching off lane assist. Very tiring on Icelandic roads with constantly changing cambers. The windscreen wipers did not park properly and kept stopping in the middle of the windscreen. When I raised these concerns with the agent when returning the car, he appeared disinterested and made feeble excuses. I won’t be using you again.
