bring your business to a company with more integrity
I am rare to write a review but in ethical conscious I feel I must warn my fellow business owners not to rely on Servies provided by Zettist. Zettist “ghosted” me after I paid $7500. All I received after Jana Devan bailed mid project was a brand kit and 4 kajabi pages.
I dislike writing a negative review but be warned and bring your business to a company with more integrity. Writing this feels like my only recourse and I genuinely hope no other business owner is treated this way.
Details for those interested:
I contracted with Jana to create a brand kit, 3 web sites and do SEO for my company. Jana offered several check in meetings over many months which I thought were to provide regular contact and feedback on the first evolving site. With no warning she told me there were no more edits and she was finishing the site.
I said that it was fine to move into final development, but had I known she would stop working on the site, I would have few additional suggestions for one final edit. She admitted she was new to designing websites and said she’d do one last design.
I requested she matched the design of one page to another and she agreed. 3 weeks later she had changed one small part of the section from quotation marks to boxes. She arranged another area but it had mismatched fonts with no design to match the requested page. Jana kept asking for “final approval”’to do SEO and I asked that she please fix the fonts and add the design style she agreed to do for ONE page. Soon after, Jana wrote she had worked too long and "out of scope" for me and that she was abandoning the project.
I wrote to her that I was surprised and asked her to least complete SEO. She wrote back she would not.
Therefore be warned- $7500 for a brand kit, 4 kajabi based webpages - with no SEO would never have been a business deal I would have entered.
I definitely would have hired someone else had I known she would abruptly abandon the website. This was also in the final phase of launch for the site causing significant delay and financial need to hire another company.
My only recourse for what feels like Zettist and Jana “ghosting” my company is to write this review.
I only include details for other entrepreneurs to get a glimpse into my experience as a customer.
Save your money for a reliable company. I wish I had chosen differently.
